Proteomics was be widely used in different kinds of diseases recently.The role of proteomics has also expanded from comparative proteomic research to the analysis of function of proteins and interaction of proteins.Our article summarized specially that the role of proteomics may play in the discovery of hepatocellular carcinoma biomarker in the recent years.

Objective To investigate the feasibility of quantitative measurement of fat concentration by CT spectral imaging in a mice model of fatty liver.Methods Twenty-four mice with different degrees of fatty liver underwent CT spectral imaging.CT values of liver parenchyma under mixed X-ray energy and 65 keV,fat concentration based on various basic material pairs (fat/water,fat/io-dine,fat/calcium)and spectral curves were obtained.Liver specimens were obtained to measure the concentration of triglyceride , and HE staining was performed.Correlations between various CT indexes and triglyceride concentration were analyzed.Results Correlation between fat concentration (fat/water pair)and triglyceride (r =0.91 5 )was better than that between CT values on 65 keV and triglyceride (r=-0.858),as well as polychromatic CT values (r=-0.81 6).All the P values were<0.001.Correlations between fat concentrations based on fat/iodine or fat/calcium pairs and triglyceride were relatively low (r=-0.726,-0.660).CT indexes on 1.25 mm slice thickness performed better than those on 2.5 mm.With fatty liver degree increased,the shape of spectral curve changed gradually.Conclusion Liver fat concentration can be measured by CT spectral imaging noninvasively,accurately and quantitatively in a mice model of fatty liver.

Objective To explore the diagnosis and treatment of isolated dissection of the superior mesenteric artery (SMA).Methods From Feb 2006 to July 2010,15 patients with isolated SMA dissection were treated in our center,there were 13 males,2 females,the mean age was(53 ± 8) years (range 43 -63).Among them,1 was caused by trauma,14 had unknown etiology,and 9 cases had a history of hypertension.Diagnosis was made by contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT) in all cases.Management strategies inlcuded placement of self-expanding bare stent,medical treatment,and transperitoneal SMA fenestration.Results Endovascular stenting was attempted in 14 cases,with a success in 5 and a failure in 9 cases who were then given medical treatment with antiplatelet agents.One case with critical intestinal ischemia underwent open exploration and SMA fenestration.Blood vessel patency resumed.Follow-up with duplex and CT was accomplished in 13 cases,time ranging from 12 to 60 months (mean 28 ± 14mos).There was no recurrent abdominal pain or chronic intestinal ischemia developed during the follow-up.In medically treated patients,there was no aneurismal enlargement of SMA,while in the endovasculartreatmentgroup,allstentsremainedpatentthroughoutthefollow-up.Conclusions Endovascular treatment of isolated dissection of SMA appears to be feasible and effective,despite its relatively low technical success rate.For asymptomatic patients,medical treatment is the treatment of choice.In case of critical intestinal ischemia and with a suspected intestinal gangrene,emergency surgical exploration and fenestration should be performed.

Objective To determine the value and reasonable application of slowly coated vicryl plus and albumin gel in primary suture after common BD exploration. Methods The operation was successfully performed in all 45 patients. The incision of common bile duct was directly sewed up by slowly coated vicryl plus and spurted by albumin gel after the exploration. Results There were no complications such as bile leakage and bile duct stricture etc.The mean payment of hospitalization was low 10.5%. Conclusion This method was safe,feasible and effective.

Objective To put forward the prevention advice on foreign body suction,and to discuss the effica-cy,safety and application experience of flexible bronchoscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of tracheobronchial foreign bodies in children. Methods The treatment experience of 38 cases for airway foreign body removal with flexible bron-choscopy and granulation tissue proliferation in Argon plasma coagulation ( APC ) ( argon knife ) combining carbon dioxide( CO2 ) cryotherapy in Bayi Children′s Hospital Affiliated to General Hospital of Beijing Military Command from January 2013 to December 2014 were reviewed,and the clinical data including age,gender,treatment time for inhaled foreign body,clinical and X-ray manifestations,location of the foreign body,treatment with bronchoscopy with APC and cryotherapy,complications and outcomes were analyzed. Results There were 38 cases of patients including 31 male (81. 6%) and 7 female(18. 4%),aged from 10 months to 14 years old,with mean age 28. 5 months;among them there were 30 cases with definite history of foreign body,accounting for 78. 9%;the most common clinical symptom was cough among the cases,accounting for 84. 3%;X ray showed 15 cases with ipsilateral lung atelectasis,accounting for 39. 5%, emphysema in 17 cases,accounting for 44. 7%,pneumonia change in 6 cases,accounting for 15. 8%,there were 11 ca-ses who had lung computerized tomography examination when coming to the hospital,and only 1 case could be seen to have foreign body shadow;microscopic examination found that inhaled foreign body in the right bronchus accounted for 57. 9%,and peanut was the main foreign body inhalation in this group;only 4 cases(10. 5%) had definite diagnosis and foreign body removal within 24 h after foreign body aspiration,moreover,34 cases(89. 5%) with foreign body aspi-ration got the diagnosis and treatment after 24 h;crying was the primary inducement for inhaled foreign body. All the 38 cases of children with inhaled foreign body experienced removal under flexible bronchoscopy. There were 19 cases (50. 0%) who had granulation tissue proliferation around the foreign body,among which 5 cases of foreign body was wrapped by the proliferation of granulation tissue,with APC dealing with the granulation tissue of foreign body surface to remove foreign body after exposure,then giving CO2 cryotherapy. Nevertheless,there were 9 cases of foreign body who had granulation tissue but was not wrapped,receiving CO2 cryotherapy directly after the foreign body removal. One case of this group had bradycardia during the surgery,and 2 cases had postoperative bleeding,but there was no death cases with foreign bodies removal. Conclusions Education is the key to prevent foreign body aspiration in infants under 3 years old. Flexible bronchoscopy is safe to remove foreign bodies from the respiratory tract and has fewer complications, so it is one of the alternative methods in diagnosis and treatment of foreign body inhalation.

Objective To explore the operating methods,the effectiveness and safety for 2 cases of tracheal in-tubation related severe subglottic stenosis under laryngeal mask by using bronchoscopy in the diagnosis and interven-tional treatment. Methods Two male patients ( age at 4 and 11 months) both had difficulty breathing and weaning failure after endotracheal intubation,who were diagnosed with severe subglottic stenosis through CT and bronchoscopy examination. All parents signed their consent after being fully informed of treatment risks. Two cases were treated under bronchoscopic holmium laser combined with argon plasma coagulation and freezing treatment by using the laryngeal mask. The clinical data, complications and postoperative outcome and follow-up were analyzed. Results Two cases were operated successfully,the subglottic granulation tissue of 1 case was completely removed,2 cases of patients had subglottic narrow annular completely removed, and there was no problem for 4. 0 mm bronchoscope to get through,postoperative tracheal catheter was successfully extracted,dyspnea was significantly improved. Two cases imme-diately showed well open after treatment,7 d,30 d and 90 d through endoscopic examination. During the operation,oxy-gen saturation decreased and heart rate increased fast or slowed down,but after operation and oxygen got resumed,they immediately recovered,and there were no abnormal hemodynamic changes during and after operation. The two cases were still under follow-up. Conclusions The laryngeal mask holmium laser,argon plasma coagulation and cryotherapy can be used to remove acquired granulation tissue hyperplasia caused by subglottic stenosis,which is safe and effective, and the short-term effect was remarkable. Long-term effect still needs to be further assessed through follow-up.

Objective To determine the contents of four fiavonoids(trifolirhizin,nor-kurarinone,xanthonumal and kuraridin)in 25 samples of Sophora flavescens Air.in the market.Methods The determination was carried out on Phe- nomenex Luna C_(18)column(250 mm?4.6 mm,5?m),using Acetonitrile-H_2O as mobile phase,at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min and detected at the wavelength of 310 nm for trifolirhizin,294 nm for nor-kurarinone and,365 nm for xan- thonumal and kuraridin,and column temperature at 35℃.Results The contents of 4 flavonoids in 25 samples of Sophora flavescens Air.in market were in the ranges of 0.05 %～0.32 % for trifolirhizin,0.05 %～0.51% for nor- kurarinone,0.55?10~(-3)%～4.87?10~(-3)% for xanthonumal and 0.06 %～0.23 % for kuraridin.Conclusion The contents of 4 flavonoids in the samples from the market vary notably,and this should be taken into the quality control of Sophora flavescens Ait.

Objective To study the expression of cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2)in hepatic inflammatory reaction and the effects of COX-2 on immunologic function of rats with sepsis.Methods Fifty-four Wistar rats were divided into sham group(n=6),sepsis group(n=24),and NS-398 intervention group(n=24).All rats were subjected to cecal ligation and puncture or sham operation.The expression of COX-2 mRNA in rat hepatic tissue was determined by RT-PCR,serum levels of IL-6,IL-10 and TNF-α were detected by ELISA,and percentage changes of CD4+,CD8+ cells by flow eytometry.The pathological changes of liver were observed at the same time.Results (1)Severe pathologic injuries of liver were observed in sepsis group,while not in NS-398 intervention group.(2)The expression of COX-2 mRNA was up-regulated in sepsis group and NS-398 intervention group,and the expression value was higher in sepsis group than that in NS-398 intervention group.The expression of COX-2 mRNA was the lowest in sham group.(3)The level of IL-6 was higher in sepsis group than that in sham group and NS-398 intervention group(F=125.582,134.712,54.760,121.441,P＜0.05).(4)The level of IL-10 was higher in NS-398 intervention group than that in sham group and sepsis group(F=39.064,34.382,51.115,8.174,P＜0.05).(5)The levels of TNF-α in sepsis group and NS-398 intervention group were increased,and the difference between the 2 groups had no statistical significance(x2=5.600,6.162,7.136,7.200,P＞0.05).(6)The ratio of CD4+to CD8+ was higher in NS-398 group than that in sepsis group(F=17.448,15.055,30.068,64.210,P＜0.05).Conclusions COX-2 plays an important role in the development of sepsis by changing the dynamic equilibrium between pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokine and that between CD4+and CD8+.

To explore the relationship between maternal insulin levels and fetal insulin resistance.Maternal blood and venous cord blood samples were collected in gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) mothers and control subjects.The glucose and insulin levels were measured and insulin resistance levels estimated.Maternal levels of insulin and homeostasis model of assessment for insulin resistance index (HOMAIR) were significantly higher in the GDM group than those in the control group (P ＜ 0.05) ; fetal levels of insulin and HOMA-IR were significantly higher in the GDM group than in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).Maternal insulin level positively correlated with fetal insulin (r =0.326,P ＜ 0.05) and HOMA-IR levels (r =0.378,P ＜0.05).In this study,a higher level of fetal insulin resistance was reported in the GDM group.And maternal hyperinsulinemia might affect fetal insulin resistance in pregnant women with GDM.
