In order to investigate the susceptible factors of posttraumatic epilepsy (PTE) and the surgical treatment, the relative factors of 18 cases of intractable PTE and 35 cases of non-PTE patients with posttraumatic seizures (PTS) and the surgical treatment of PTE patients were studied retrospectively. The results showed that there was significant difference in the degree of unconsciousness after head injury, incidence of intracerebral hematoma and acute subdural hematoma between PTE group and non-PTE group. Of the 18 cases of PTE undergoing surgical treatment, the effectiveness of 11 cases was satisfactory and that of the remaining 7 was not. Between the two groups, there was difference in the localization of interictal epileptic discharge (IED) and ictal discharge (ID) as demonstrated by preoperative EEG. It was concluded that PTE was associated with the severity of head injury and intracranial hematoma. The localization of epileptogenic loci by preoperative EEG presumably contributed to the PTE surgical effects.

OBJECTIVE:
To evaluate the clinical effect of acupuncture at "thirteen acupoints for regulating menstruation and promoting pregnancy" on diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) and its influence on ovarian reserve function.
METHODS:
A total of 32 patients with DOR were treated by acupuncture at "thirteen acupoints for regulating menstruation and promoting pregnancy". Acupoints group 1: Baihui (GV 20), Shenting (GV 24), Benshen (GB 13), Zhongwan (CV 12), Tianshu (ST 25), Guanyuan (CV 4), Zigong (EX-CA 1), Dahe (KI 12), Zusanli (ST 36), Sanyinjiao (SP 6), Taichong (LR 3); acupoints group 2: Baihui (GV 20), Shenshu (BL 23), Ciliao (BL 32). Acupoints group 1 and group 2 were alternately used, and acupoints group 1 was used for the first time. The needles were stayed for 30 min each time, once every 1 or 2 days, 3 times a week, 36 times (3 months) as a course of treatment. The treatment could be continued until the patient was pregnant or the patient given up acupuncture, and the acupuncture was uninterrupted during menstruation. The changes of modified Kupperman scale score, serum sex hormones, anti-müllerian hormones (AMH), ovarian peak systolic velocity (PSV), resistive index (RI) and antral follicle count (AFC) were compared before and after treatment, and the clinical effect and pregnancy rate were observed.
RESULTS:
The total score of modified Kupperman scale after treatment was lower than that before treatment (<0.05); The total effective rate was 90.6% (29/32) and the pregnancy rate was 15.6% (5/32). After treatment, the levels of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), FSH/ luteinizing hormone (LH) were lower than before treatment, ovarian PSV was higher than before treatment, RI was lower than before treatment, and AFC was more than before treatment (<0.05).
CONCLUSION
Acupuncture at "thirteen acupoints for regulating menstruation and promoting pregnancy" can effectively improve the ovarian reserve function of DOR patients.

To solve the problem of real-time detection and removal of EEG signal noise in anesthesia depth monitoring, we proposed an adaptive EEG signal noise detection and removal method. This method uses discrete wavelet transform to extract the low-frequency energy and high-frequency energy of a segment of EEG signals, and sets two sets of thresholds for the low-frequency band and high-frequency band of the EEG signal. These two sets of thresholds can be updated adaptively according to the energy situation of the most recent EEG signal. Finally, we judge the level of signal interference according to the range of low-frequency energy and high-frequency energy, and perform corresponding denoising processing. The results show that the method can more accurately detect and remove the noise interference in the EEG signal, and improve the stability of the calculated characteristic parameters.

Objective To investigate the role and molecular mechanism of long intergenic non-coding RNA 1116 (LINC01116) in hippocampal astrocytes of acute ischemic stroke (AIS).Methods The expressions of LINC01116 and miR-203 in serum of 131 AIS patients before and after thrombolysis were detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR.The regulatory effect of LINC01116 on miR-203 was detected by dual-luciferase reporter gene and RNA-binding protein immunoprecipitation assay.Human hippocampal astrocytes (hHA) were applied to establish an oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation (OGD/R) model and were treated with LINC01116 interference and LINC01116 combined with miR-203 interference. The changes of cell proliferation, cell apoptosis, production of reactive oxygen species (ROS),activity of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH),and inflammatory factors were detected by CCK-8,TUNEL and Western blotting,ROS assay,LDH assay, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, respectively. Results The expressions of LINC01116 and miR-203 in serum after thrombolysis were higher and lower than those before thrombolysis, respectively, and the expressions of LINC01116 and miR-203 were negatively correlated (P<0.05).LINC01116 inhibited miR-203 expression by sponge of miR-203 (P<0.05).LINC01116 interference alleviated the OGD/R-induced injury of hHA cells, which manifested as elevated cell proliferation ability, decreased cell apoptosis rate, decreased protein expressions of cleaved caspase-3 and Bax but raised protein expression of Bcl-2,reduced ROS production, decreased LDH activity, and downregulated TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6 concentrations but upregulated IL-4,IL-10 and IL-13 concentrations (P<0.05).miR-203 interference reversed the protective effect of LINC01116 interference on the OGD/R-induced injury of hHA cells (P<0.05).Conclusions LINC01116 promotes the OGD/R-induced injury of hHA cells by targeting miR-203,suggesting that the LINC01116/miR-203 pathway might be a potential therapeutic target for AIS.

Mercury sphygmomanometer based on traditional auscultation method is widely used in primary medical institutions in China, but a large amount of blood pressure data can not be directly recorded and applied in scientific research analysis, meanwhile auscultation data is the clinical standard to verify the accuracy of non-invasive electronic sphygmomanometer. Focusing on this, we designed a miniature non-invasive blood pressure measurement and verification system, which can assist doctors to record blood pressure data automatically during the process of auscultation. Through the data playback function, the software of this system can evaluate and verify the blood pressure algorithm of oscillographic method, and then continuously modify the algorithm to improve the measurement accuracy. This study introduces the hardware selection and software design process in detail. The test results show that the system meets the requirements of relevant standards and has a good application prospect.

Journal of Clinical Hepatology 2022;38(12):2850-2854
Porto-sinusoidal vascular disease (PSVD) is an entity characterized with portal hypertension (PH) in the absence of cirrhosis, the related risk factors, and imaging evidence of obstructed portal vein, hepatic vein and inferior vena cava. Its prevalence varies significantly between East and West countries. Until now, the etiologies have been classified as autoimmune, hematologic, and prethrombotic conditions, infections, toxins or drugs, and genetic or metabolic disorders. However, the definite cause remains unknown. Diagnosis is based on three histopathological features: obliterative portal venopathy, nodular regenerative hyperplasia, and incomplete septal fibrosis. The clinical manifestations of early PSVD are nonspecific, whereas those at a late stage are similar to cirrhosis. The imaging detection mainly reveals the PH signs and complications, but the liver stiffness is normal or slightly increased, necessitating a liver biopsy for PVSD diagnosis. PSVD treatment is similar to liver cirrhosis; however, the prognosis is better. In order to gain a thorough understanding of PSVD, the epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical diagnosis, and treatment are discussed in this article.

Lung volume reduction loop uses bronchoscopic lung volume reduction(BLVR) technology to compress and collapse the necrotic emphysema tissue and exhaust the internal gas to achieve the purpose of lung volume reduction to treat emphysema. After the lung volume reduction loop is implanted into the human body, the compressed part of the lung tissue tends to expand with breathing, which makes the lung volume reduction loop expand into a linear trend periodically. Fatigue resistance is one of the most important performance indexes of the lung volume reduction loop. In the paper, Z-direction vibration fatigue machine was used to simulate the changes of human respiratory cycle movement to test the fatigue performance of lung volume reduction loop, which can provide some reference for the test method of in vitro fatigue performance of lung volume reduction related products in the future.
