1.595nm tunable pulsed dye laser in treatment of children heamangioma of skin

Objective To evaluate of the clinical efficacy and side-effect of 595nm tunable pulsed dye laser in treatment of children heamangioma of skin. Methods A retrospective study was conducted according to 76 children patients with heamangioma of skin (including 53 cases of nevus flammenus, 20 strawberry hemangioma and 3 cavernous hemangioma) treated with 595nm tunable pulsed dye laser. We evaluated the efficacy and side-effect of the treatment. Results The effectiveness rates were 83.2% and 86.63%, respectively, in nevus flammenus and strawberry hemangioma, but there were disappointed efficacy obtained in patients with cavernous hemangioma treated with 595nm tunable pulsed dye laser. There was 7.9% of the side-effect rate in the children with heamangioma of skin treated by 595 nm tunable pulsed dye laser. Conclusion There is satisfactory clinical efficacy and lower side-effect for children hemangioma treated by 595nm tunable pulsed dye laser.
2.CT Manifestations of Acquired Immunodeifciency Syndrome Combined with Pulmonary Tuberculosis and Pulmonary Tuberculosis

PurposePulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) in the patients with AIDS often manifest as an atypical clinical manifestations, less positive rate in lab and various imaging features. This paper aims to compare the clinical and imaging manifestations of PTB in patients with AIDS and in patients with normal immunity may help us to improve the understanding of PTB in AIDS.Materials and MethodsThe clinical manifestations, the lab results and chest imaging data of 142 conifrmed PTB in patients with AIDS (observation group) and 150 conifrmed PTB in patients with normal immunity (control group) were retrospectively analyzed, the imaging review included the site, shape, density, property and the enhancement patterns of the enlarged lymph node in mediastinum and the status of pleura.ResultsThe incidences of fever, dyspnea, asthenia, anorexia, loss of weight, diarrhea, blurred vision, urinary irritation, oral leukoplakia, pruritus, rash, other pulmonary infections and extrapulmonary tuberculosis in observation group were signiifcantly higher than those in control group (χ2=4.173-68.542,P<0.05,P<0.01,P<0.001). The positive rates of tuberculosis in cough, hemoptysis, putum smear and sputum culture in observation group were signiifcantly lower than those in control group (χ2=30.376, 9.254 and 16.200, P<0.05). Imaging manifestations: observation group of type I, type II, type IV and type V patients were more than those in the control group (χ2=5.977, 8.621, 18.769 and 20.864, P<0.05). The lesions located at middle and lower lobes and involved more than three lobes in observation group than in control group at the same time (χ2=18.692 and 5.860,P<0.05, P<0.001), military nodules, enlarged lymph nodes in mediastinum and pleural effusion appeared more commonly in observation group than in control group (χ2=13.404, 34.704 and 19.469,P<0.001), while calcification, fibrosis and cavity were less in observation group compared to control group (χ2=6.539, 4.658 and 7.280,P<0.05,P<0.01,P<0.001). ConclusionPTB should be considered when AIDS patients present multiple symptoms in whole body, with pulmonary lesions located at middle and lower lobes & involved more than three lobes, military nodules, mediastinal enlarged lymph nodes and pleural effusion.
3.Investigation analysis of training demands for nursing knowledge related to plateau disaster and skill training among nursing staffs

Objective To investigate the training demands for nursing knowledge related to plateau disaster and skill training among nursing staffs,in order to provide references for further training.Methods By cluster sampling method and self-designed questionnaire,the needs of nurses for nursing knowledge and skills including demands in the stage of preparation and first aid,demands in the stage of post-disaster and plateau disaster were investigated among 635 nurses from 10 hospitals in Tibet plateau area.Results The total scores of needs for nursing knowledge and skills related to plateau disaster was around (3.85±1.09). The scores of demands for nursing knowledge and skills in nurses with different ranks of hospital,nursing ages,professional titles,educational backgrounds and duties,were significant different (χ2=290.32,421.71, 462.92,236.71,489.43;P<0.01).Conclusions Nursing staffs have great demands for participating in training class related to nursing knowledge and skills of plateau disaster,in order to improve their nursing ability in plateau disaster.
4.Microbiological culture of skin lesion exudates and drug sensitivity test in 176 inpatients with pemphigus

Objective:To analyze results of microbiological culture of lesion exudates and drug sensitivity test in patients with pemphigus, and to optimize the management protocol of pemphigus.Methods:Inpatients with pemphigus were collected from Department of Dermatology and Venereology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University from January to December in 2008, and the results of microbiological culture of skin lesion exudates and drug sensitivity test were retrospectively analyzed.Results:A total of 176 patients were collected, and skin lesion exudate culture yielded 25 kinds of bacteria and 11 kinds of fungi in 156 (88.64%) patients. Of the 156 patients, 1 kind of pathogen was yielded in 104 (66.67%), and 2 or more kinds of pathogens were yielded in 52 (33.33%). Gram-positive cocci were detected in 134 (76.14%) cases, including Staphylococcus aureus in 80, Staphylococcus hemolyticus in 21, and Staphylococcus epidermidis in 16; Gram-negative bacilli were detected in 66 (37.50%) cases; fungi were detected in 24 (13.64%) cases. In addition, 89 (93.68%) of 95 relapsed patients showed positive culture results, 67 (82.72%) of 81 patients with newly developed pemphigus had positive culture results, and the positive rate significantly differed between the two groups ( χ2 = 5.22, P <0.05). Drug sensitivity test for Staphylococcus aureus isolates showed that 71 (97.26%) of 73 were sensitive to vancomycin, 69 (97.18%) of 71 to linezolid, and 61 (87.14%) of 70 to rifampin. Conclusion:Cutaneous infection, especially Gram-positive cocci infection, is very common in patients with pemphigus, and Staphylococcus aureus clinical isolates were highly sensitive to vancomycin, linezolid and rifampicin.
5.Association of tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated protein 1 gene copy number variation with susceptibility and clinical characteristics of systemic lupus erythematosus

Objective To explore whether tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated protein 1 (TRAP1)gene copy number variation was associated with susceptibility and clinical characteristics of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).Methods The study enrolled 304 SLE patients and 391 healthy controls.They were used to investigate the association between TRAP1 gene copy number variation and SLE susceptibility.Then,304 SLE patients were divided into copy number=2 group and copy number>2 group to study the association between TRAP1 gene copy number variation and disease activity or clinical characteristics of SLE.AccuCopyTM Kit was used to detect the TRAP1 gene copy number.Data analyses were performed by SPSS 10.01 software.The suitable method was selected among t test,rank sum test and x2 test for analysis based on the data type and distribution,univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis were performed to investigate the associ-ation between TRAP1 gene copy number variation and susceptibility and clinical characteristics of SLE.Results The copy number variation of TRAP1 gene showed an association with the susceptibility to SLE crude OR=5.257,95%CI (1.108,24.937),P=0.037;the adjusted OR=5.578,95%CI (1.172,26.556),P=0.031].There was no association between TRAP1 gene copy number variation and SLE disease activity index (SLEDAI) score (Z=-0.117,P=0.907).The copy number variation of TRAP1 gene had a marginal association with skin lesions in SLE [OR=0.130,95%CI (0.016,1.069),P=0.058],but it disappeared after adjusting for potential confounders [OR=0.288,95%CI (0.029,2.831),P=0.286,PBH=0.808].There was no correlation between TRAP1 gene copy number variation and arthritis,alopecia,oral ulcers,fever,hematologic disorder,lupus nephritis as well as photosensitivity in SLE [x2=0.751,OR=1.234,95%CI (0.767,1.988),P=0.386].No multiplicative interaction was found between TRAP1 gene copy number variation and age or body mass index (BMI) [age:x2=0.751,OR=1.234,95%CI (0.767,1.988),P=0.386;BMI:x2=0.282,OR=1.172,95%CI(0.652,2.109),P=0.596].Conclusions The copy number variation of TRAP1 gene may be associated with susceptibility to SLE.Increased TRAP1 gene copy number may be a risk factor for SLE.
6.Chest computed tomography features and dynamic changes of severe corona virus disease 2019

Objective:To investigate the features of chest computed tomography (CT) imaging and dynamic changes of severe corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19).Methods:The clinical and CT data of 17 patients diagnosed with severe COVID-19 admitted to Chongqing Public Health Medical Center from January 24 to February 6, 2020 were collected. The first chest CT manifestations and the dynamic changes of imaging during treatment were retrospectively analyzed.Results:The first chest CT manifestations of the 17 patients showed that 16 cases presented with peripheral and subpleural distributions, and two cases presented with three lobes involved, one case with four lobes involved and 14 cases with five lobes involved, and 17 cases presented with ground-glass opacities, ten cases with consolidation, seven cases with subpleural line, nine cases with air bronchogram, three cases with thickened lobular septum, two cases with bronchiectasis, two cases with pleural effusion, three cases with lymphadenopathy with the short diameter of 1.0-1.2 cm.Among 16 patients who underwent repeated CT examination, the lesions of eight patients showed continuous improvement, and those of the other eight patients showed fluctuating changes.Conclusions:The CT findings of severe COVID-19 patients are mainly ground-glass opacities and consolidation, with the peripheral distribution. The range of lesions is wide, with five-lobe involvement mostly. Lymphadenopathy or pleural effusion is rare. Pynamic monitoring chest CT is useful for the evaluation for the therapeutic effects.

Objective:To explore the current situation of nursing human caring in hospital wards and analyze its influencing factors, so as to facilitate the development of nursing human caring practice.Methods:From July to November 2022, a total of 107 hospitals were surveyed through stratified convenience sampling method, and 4 072 ward nursing managers were recruited to finish the general information questionnaire and the ward nursing human caring status questionnaire. The general information included the region, class and type of the hospital, etc. The ward nursing human caring status questionnaire included 38 items in 5 dimensions of nursing human caring system and process, humanistic quality and training of nursing staff, humanistic environment and facilities, human caring procedures and measures, and human caring quality evaluation and improvement, with a full score of 190 points. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the general data, independent samples t-test, ANOVA and correlation analysis were used to analyze the factors influencing the current status of nursing human caring in the ward, while multiple linear regression analysis was used to conduct a multivariate analysis. Results:The score of nursing human caring in hospital wards was 156.91±27.78. Whether the hospital had carried out nursing human caring pilot(demonstration) wards, whether the ward had previously been a hospital nursing human caring pilot(demonstration) nursing unit, the type of ward, and whether nursing managers had participated in human caring training were the influencing factors of the implication of nursing humanistic caring in wards( P<0.05). Conclusions:The practice of nursing human caring in hospital wards is at a good level, but needs to be further strengthened. Nursing managers should take systematically strategies to promote the development of nursing human caring practice.
