Chemical constituents of Inula japonica were isolated and purified by repeated column chromatographies, over silica gel, and Toyopearl HW-40, and preparative HPLC. On the basis of spectral data analysis, including NMR and MS data, the structures of the isolates were elucidated and their anti-inflammatory activities were assayed. Fifteen compounds were isolated from the ethyl acetate extract of I. japonica, and their structures were elucidated as dihydrosyringenin (1), (3S, 5R, 6S, 7E)-5,6-epoxy-3-hydroxy-7-megastigmen-9-one (2), (6R, 7E) -9-hydroxy-4,7-megastigmadien-3-one (3), arnidiol (4), taraxasterol acetate (5), 8,9,10-trihydroxythymol (6), taxifolin (7), luteolin (8), napetin (9), eupatin (10), spinacetin (11), quercetin (12), p-hydroxycinnamic acid (13), caffeic acid (14), and caffeoyl acetate (15). Compounds 1, 2, 7, 13 and 15 were isolated from the genus Inula for the first time, and compounds 3, 4, 9-11 and 14 were isolated from this plant for the first time. The anti-inflammatory activity result showed that compounds 3, 6-12 and 14 exhibited inhibition effect against leukotriene C4 (LTC4) synthesis and degranulation definitely in c-Kit Ligand (KL) induced mast cells, and compound 8 and 12 also had the suppression effect against lipopolysacharide(LPS) induced nitric oxide (NO) activity in RAW264.7 macrophages. It is firstly reported that compounds 7 and 9-11 possessed potent inhibition activities against LTC4 generation and degranulation in mast cells.

This study was purposed to investigate the dynamically monitoring minimal residual disease (MRD) by flow cytometry (FCM) in patients with acute leukemia (AL) after complete remission and its relation with prognosis. From October 2010 to May 2012, 58 cases of AL (including 45 cases of AML and 13 cases of ALL) were regularly monitored for MRD in bone marrow by FCM and their bone marrow morphology was observed by light microscopy at the same time which continued to relapse or to follow-up deadline in the Department of Hematology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University. Through average follow-up for 9 months (3 - 21 months), the average MRD level of patients with CR was got. And the prognostic value of MRD level at different time points in AL patients after CR was analysed and summarized. MRD ≥ 1% was defined as positive, otherwise, as negative. The results showed that the maximum and minimum MRD levels of 45 AML patients were 9.57% and 0.01% respectively, the average was 0.67%; the maximum and minimum MRD levels of 13 cases of ALL patients were 7.9% and 0.0016% respectively, the average was 0.99%. Among 44 cases after induction therapy, the relapse rate of MRD(+) group was 53.3% (8/15), the relapse rate of MRD(-) group was 10.3% (3/29), and the relapse rate of MRD(+) group was higher than that of MRD(-) group (χ(2) = 7.58, P = 0.006). Among 58 cases after the first consolidatory therapy, the relapse rate of MRD(+) group was 62.5% (5/8), the relapse rate of MRD(-) group was 16.0% (8/50), and the relapse rate of MRD(+) group was higher than that of MRD(-) group (χ(2) = 6.11, P = 0.013). It is concluded that MRD detected by FCM has a large range (10(-6) - 10(-2)), which can not be used as a single indicator of complete remission. When MRD ≥ 1% after induction therapy and the first consolidatory therapy, the relapse rate significantly increases, MRD can be used as a sensitive indicator for prognosis.

The objects of research on the resources chemistry of Chinese medicinal materials (RCCMM) are promotion of efficient production, rational utilization and improving quality of CMM and natural products. The development of TCM cause depends on the efficient utilization and sustainable development of CMM, hinges on the technologies and methods for using and discovering medicinal biological resources, stand or fall on the extension of industy chains, detailed utilizaion of resource chemical components by multi-way, multi-level. All of these may help to the recycling utilization and sound development of RCMM. In this article, five respects were discussed to the RCCMM researches and resources recycling utilization ways and goals and tasks. First, based on the principle of resource scarcity, discovering or replacing CMM resources, protecting the rare or endangered species or resources. Second, based on the multifunctionality of CMM, realizing the value-added and value compensation, and promoting the utilization efficiency through systermatic and detailed exploitation and utilization. Third, based on the resource conservation and environment-friendly, reducing raw material consumption, lowering cost, promoting recycling utilization and elevating utilization efficiency. Fourth, based on the stratege of turning harm into good, using the invasive alien biological resources by multi-ways and enriching the medicial resources. Fifth, based on the method of structure modification of chemical components, exploring and enhancing the utility value of resouces chemical substances. These data should provide references and attention for improving the utilization efficiency, promoting the development of recycling economy, and changing the mode of economic growth of agriculture and industry of CMM fundamentally.

ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical value of color Doppler ultrasound examination in the diagonosis of acute and chronic artery occlusion of the extremities.MethodsA review was made on 129 extremetiy artery occlusion patients at Anzhen Hospital during 2006 -2010. 85 cases were male, and 44 cases were female. Age was from 17 to 94 years (average: 62 ±9 years). We analyzed two-dimensional and color Doppler flow imagings of 39 acute occlusion arteries and 97 chronic occlusion arteries. We compared factors including the echoes of artery lumens, the vessel wall structures, hemodynamic parameters of inlet and outlet at the occlusion, and collaterals between groups.ResultsThe factors of depths of vessel wall,internal diameters of ccclusion arteries, proximal resistant index and collaterals were significantly different between groups ( P ＜ 0. 05 ). The internal diameters of acute occlusion arteries were wider than chronic occlusion arteries. The depths of vessel wall, proximal resistant index and collaterals were thinner, smaller,and less than chronic occlusion arteries. The total accurate rate of differential diagnosis for acute and chronic artery occlusion by color Doppler ultrasound was 95.6％.ConclusionsColor Doppler ultrasound is an effective method for the differential diagnosis of acute and chronic artery occlusion of the extremities.

Objective To evaluate the perioperative and long-term effects of endovascular aneurysm repair(EVAR) of infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA).Methods Clinical data of 131 AAA cases undergoing EVAR were retrospectively evaluated for the safety and long-term efficacy.Results The operative time was (137 ±29) min,blood loss was (142 ±20) ml,blood transfusion was (46 ± 26) ml,ICU staying time was (17 ± 4) h.Major perioperative complications were severe heart failure in 8 cases,myocardial infarction in 2 cases,pulmonary complications in 5 cases,internal leakage in 4 cases.During the period of up to 60 months there were15 cases of endoleak including 8 cases of type Ⅰ,5 cases of type Ⅱ,1 each case of type Ⅲ and Ⅳ and 2 deaths.By Kaplan-Meier survival analysis there were complications developing after 60 months and up to 40％ of them needing reintervention.Conclusions Endovascular repair is the safe treatment for AAA,but discharged patients need close long-term follow-up.Complications that ensued need intensive management.

The industrialization chains and their products, which were formed from the process of the production of medicinal materials-prepared drug in pieces and deep processed product of Chinese material medica (CMM) resources, have generated large benefits of social and economic. However, The large of herb-medicine castoff of "non-medicinal parts" and "rejected materials" produced inevitably during the process of Chinese medicinal resources produce and process, and the residues, waste water and waste gas were produced during the manufactured and deep processed product of CMM. These lead to the waste of resources and environmental pollution. Our previous researches had proposed the "three utilization strategies" and "three types of resources models" of herb-medicine castoff according to the different physicochemical property of resources constitutes, resources potential and utility value of herb-medicine castoff. This article focus on the conversion efficiency of resources model and analysis the ways, technologies, practices, and application in herb-medicine cast off of the conversion efficiency of resources model based on the recycling economy theory of resources and thoughts of resources chemistry of CMM. These data may be promote and resolve the key problems limited the industrialization of Chinese material medica for long time and promote the realization of herb-medicine castoff resources utilization.

Objective To explore the validity of graduated compression stockings (GCS) in the prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in postoperative patients with central nervous system tumors. Methods Patients in experimental group (n=100) were given GCS since the first operative day until they can walk. Patients in control group (n=80) did not apply GCS treatment. Doppler studies of the lower extremities were routinely obtained before and 3 days after surgery. Results Three patients developed DVT in the experimental group with an incidence rate of 3%; while 21 patients appeared DVT in the control group with an incidence rate of 26% and 1 patient developed pulmonary embolism. The efficacy between the experimental group and the control group were significantly different (P<0.05). Conclusion GCS can effectively prevent the DVT in postoperative patients with central nervous system tumors.

Objective To investigate the effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy on the expression of four molecular markers ER,PR,HER-2 and Ki6 7 ,so as to provide the basis for accurate individualized treatment of breast cancer patients.Methods We enrolled 165 breast cancer patients who underwent radical surgery in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University from January 1,2013 to December 31,2015.Among them,62 patients received preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC group),and 103 received no adjuvant (control group).We collected all the patients'preoperative and postoperative pathological specimens;we detected the expression levels of ER,PR,HER-2 and Ki67 by immunohistochemical method.Results Compared with that in control group patients,in NAC group the change rate of ER expression was 12.1% (7/58)and 7.8% (8/103) before and after chemotherapy,respectively,with no significant difference (P=0.3 78);the change rate of PR expression was 10.3% (3/58)and 10.7% (11/103),with no significant difference (P=0.227);the change rate of HER-2 expression was 8.6% (5/58)and 22.3 (23/103),with significant difference (P=0.026);the change rate of Ki67 expression was 39.7% (23/58)and 19.4% (20/103),with significant difference (P=0.006).In addition,the effective rate of neoadjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer patients with high Ki67 expression was 63.8% (30/47), that of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in patients with low Ki6 7 expression was 3 3 .3 % (5/15),with significant differences between the two groups (P=0.038).Conclusion Neoadjuvant chemotherapy can change the status of HER-2 and Ki6 7 in breast cancer patients,in which the high Ki6 7 expression level predicts better effect of chemo-therapy.
