Objective To investigate the clinical value for treatment of diabetic foot with PTA and PTA combined cinepazide maleate. Methods In 24 cases of diabetic associated vascular disease of lower limb,12 cases were treated with PTA and other 12 cases were treated with PTA combined einepazide maleate,We analysed and compared clinical effects before and after the procedure, together with 3 months follow up.Results In patients treated with PTA,the clinical symptom scores of posttreatment and follow-up decreased;ABI and TcPO_2 increased significantly. The clinical symptom score and ABI of follow-up remained, stable, but TcPO_2 decreased significantly.Control angiography showed improvement in degree of vascular stenosis and peripheral staining of 11 patients after treatment. The vascular patency remained in 12 patients and the peripheral staining decreased in 7 patients on follow-up.In patients treated with VIA combined cinepazide maleate, the clinical symptom score,ABI and TcPO_2 after treatment and on follow-up showed no signifcant changes compared with those in patients treated by PTA.F,Control angiography showed that the degree of vascular stenosis and peripheral staining were improved in 12 patients after treatment. The vascular pateney was maintained and peripheral staining was improved on follow-up.Before and after treatment, there were no significant differences in clinical symptom score.ABI and TcPO_2 between patients treated with PTA and PTA combined cinepazide maleate, however, there were significant differences in clinical symptom score and TcPO_2 on follow-up.Conclusion PTA can significantly improve clinical symptom of diabetic foot and the application of cinepazide maleate is a benefitial and necessary supplement.PTA combined cinepazide maleate can be taken as one of the conventional treatment plans for diabetic foot.(J Intervent Radiol,2007,16:811-815)

Objective To investigate the association of angiotensinogen(AGT)gene A-6G、T174M and G-217A polymorphisms with the risk of essential hypertension(EH)in the elderly of Han nationality. Methods Genotypes of AGT gene A-6G,T174M and G-217A polymorphisms in 177 aged EH patients and 86 sex and age-matched controls were analyzed with gene chip technology. Results The A-6G and T174M polymorphisms of AGT gene were significantly associated with EH.The numbers of the three genotypes of A-6G were 113,58 and 6 in the patient group and 70,15 and 1 in the control group(P= 0.014)and those of T174M were 94,77 and 6,60,25 and 1(P=0.031),respectively.G-217A polymorphism was not related to EH.Individuals carrying A-6G AA and T174M CC genotypes showed 57% and 56% lower risk of EH(OR=0.43;95%CI=0.23-0.82 and OR=0.44;95%CI=0.25-0.79, respectively). Conclusions The A-6G AA and the T174M CC genotype may be related with decreased risk of EH and G-217A polymorphism may have little role in the etiology of EH in Han nationality.

COVID-19 epidemic continues to spread around the world till these days, and it is urgent to develop more safe and effective new drugs. Due to the limited P3 biosafety laboratories for directly screening inhibitors of virulent viruses with high infectivity, it is necessary to develop rapid and efficient screening methods for viral proteases and other related targets. The main protease (Mpro), which plays a key role in the replication cycle of SARS-CoV-2, is highly conserved and has no homologous proteases in humans, making it an ideal target for drug development. From two different levels, namely, molecular level and cellular level, this paper summarizes the reported screening methods of SARS-CoV-2 Mpro inhibitors through a variety of representative examples, expecting to provide references for further development of SARS-CoV-2 Mpro inhibitors.

As a common protease with high similarity among coronavirus species, the main protease (Mpro) of SARS-CoV-2 is responsible for the catalytic hydrolysis of viral precursor proteins into functional proteins, which is essential for coronavirus replication and is one of the ideal targets for the development of broad-spectrum antiviral drugs. This paper reviews the main protease inhibitors of SARS-CoV-2, including their molecular structures, potencies and drug-like profiles, binding modes and structure-activity relationships, etc.

To study the xanthones from the leaves of Calophyllum inophyllum Linn., several chromatography methods were employed to isolate the constituents. Investigation on the CHCl3 extract led to the isolation of a new xanthone named inophyxanthone A (1) and four known compounds, which were pancixanthone A (2), gerontoxanthone B (3), jacareubin (4) and pyranojacareubin (5). Among them, compound 2 was obtained from this plant firstly, and compound 3 was obtained for the first time from this genus. The structure of inophyxanthone A (1) was identified as 1, 3, 5-trihydroxy-2-(1, 1-dimethylallyl)xanthone by spectral analysis.

AIM: To investigate the regulatory effects of microRNA(miR)-195 on the biological behaviors, such as viability, apoptosis and migration, of lung cancer A549 cells, and to explore the related mechanisms.METH-ODS:After miR-195 mimics were transfected into the A549 cells, the cell viability, cell cycle distribution and apoptosis were measured by CCK-8 assay and flow cytometry.Transwell assay was used to detect cell migration ability.Furthermore, the protein levels of cyclin D1,CDK2,Bcl-2 and p-Rb/Rb were determined by Western blot.Dual-luciferase reporter as-say was used to screen and identify the possible target genes of miR-195.RESULTS: Over-expression of miR-195 in the A549 cells inhibited the cell viability and induced cell cycle arrest, accompanied with the decrease in the cell migration a-bility and the increase in the apoptotic rate(P<0.05).Furthermore,the protein levels of cyclin D1,CDK2,Bcl-2 and p-Rb were significantly decreased(P<0.05).Dual-luciferase reporter assay demonstrated that MYB was a potential target gene of miR-195.Over-expression of MYB in the A549 cells partially reversed the effects of miR-195 on the cell viability, apoptosis and migration.CONCLUSION: miR-195 inhibits lung cancer A549 cell growth and migration, and promotes cell apoptosis by targeting MYB gene.

Objective To investigate the significance of serum HbA1c and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) in patients with acute coronary syndromes. Methods 120 patients with acute coronary syndromes were enrolled in Jinhua Wenrong hospital from June 2015 to December 2016. Among them, 68 patients with diabetes mellitus (group A) and 52 patients without diabetes (group B) were selected. 80 healthy cases in this hospital were selected as the control group. (HbA1c) and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) were measured and compared. Results The level of serum HbA1c in group A was (9.52±1.57)%, which was significantly higher than that in group B (5.92±0.36)%, control group (5.82±0.41)%, t=(16.19, 20.29), P=(0.00, 0.00); And group B compared with the control group, t=1.43, P=0.15. The level of NT-proBNP in group A was (442.78±79.14) μg/mL, which was significantly higher than that in group B (221.45±33.89) μg/mL, control group (87.14±14.82) μg/mL, t=(18.87, 39.41), P= (0.00, 0.00); and group B was significantly higher than those in the control group, t=31.19, P=0.00. Cardiac function in patients with acute coronary syndromes was positively correlated with serum HbA1c and NT-proBNP (r=0.624, 0.582). Conclusion The levels of HbA1c and NT-proBNP in patients with acute coronary syndromes were significantly higher than those in patients with acute coronary syndromes. The levels of HbA1c and NT-proBNP in patients with acute coronary syndromes were helpful to evaluate their cardiac function.
