Objective To explore the relationship between serum advanced glycation end products(AGEs) levels in gestation diabetic mother(GDM) and cardiovascular function of newborn infants. Methods Sixty mid-gestation GDM and 72 late-gestation GDM fulfilling the inclusion criteria were recruited,72 mid-gestation and 80 late-gestation mothers with no pregnancy complications were collected as controls.Fasting blood glucose and serum AGEs levels were analyzed in each group.Clinical data of GDM and their babys were collected.Accor-ding to cardiovascular function of neonates, these neonates were divided into 2 groups:normal neonate group with normal cardiovascular function and anormal neonate group with anormal cardiovascular function.Maternal serum AGEs levels, blood glucose between mid-gestation groups and late-gestation groups were compared.Factors which affected the prevalence of complications of fetal outcome in GDM were analyzed. Results 1.Mid-gestation and late-gestation GDM groups had higher serum AGEs levels and fasting blood glucose compared with those of their respective controls(Pa0.05).3.Abnormal fetal outcome in GDM had significantly higher maternal serum AGEs levels than that in controls with normal fetal outcome(P

Fibroblast growth factor 23 (FGF23) is a new endocrine factor, mainly expressed in osteoblasts and osteoblasts. Many studies have found that FGF23 can act on kidney, parathyroid and other tissues after binding with Klotho protein, and participate in bone mineral metabolism. In addition, in recent years, the role of FGF23 in exoskeleton has been gradually discovered, such as FGF23 and thyroid diseases, diabetes and so on. Therefore, understanding the biological characteristics, regulatory mechanism of FGF23 and its relationship with related diseases is of great clinical significance for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. This article reviews the relationship between FGF23 and metabolic diseases such as phosphorus metabolic disease, parathyroid disease, hyperthyroidism, osteoporosis, diabetes, iron metabolism and so on.
3.Effects of Early Enteral Feeding Containing MCT/LCT on Improving Protein Catabolism of Burned Patients
Journal of Chinese Physician 2000;0(12):-
Objectives To compare the effects of different early enteral nutrition formula on improving metabolic status of burned patients. Methods Thirty cases of burned patients with total burn surface area (TBSA) more than 30% were randomly divided into two groups:⑴Group F, enteral feeding with Fresubin 750MCT containing MCT/LCT as fat source, ⑵Group N, enteral feeding with Nutrison containing only LCT as fat source. All of the thirty patients received isocaloric, isonitrogenous and isolipidic enteral feeding with intragstric tube and enteral feeding pump, within 24h of postburn. Plasma insulin, glucagons, tumor necrosis factor (TNF) and 3-methylhistidine in urine were measured on day 1,4,7and 10 days of postburn. Results The results showed that the patients of group F had an increased blood concentration of insulin and the ratio of insulin/ glucagons, a decreased plasma concentration of TNF, and a reduced excretion of 3-methylhistidine in urine as compared with the patients of group N. Conclusions An enteral compound diet containing MCT/LCT in the early enteral feeding in burned patients can improve the metabolic status of burned patients more effectively.

To develop a LC-MS/MS method for the determination of protocatechuic acid, protocatechuic aldehyde, salvianolic acid A, salvianolic acid B, cryptotanshinone and tanshinone II(A) in rat plasma and brain. The plasma and brain samples were precipitated with ethyl acetate, then were separated on an Agilent eclipse plus-C18 column (2.1 mm x 50 mm, 3.5 microm) using acetonitrile (consisting of 0.1% formic acid) and water (consisting of 0.1% formic acid) as mobile phase in gradient elution mode. The mass spectrometer was operated under both positive and negative ion mode with the ESI source, and the detection was performed by MRM. The transition of 154.3/153.1 m/z for protocatechuic acid, 137.3/108 m/z for protocatechuic aldehyde, 493.0/295.2 m/z for Salvianolic acid A, 718.0/520.0 m/z for salvianolic acid B, 321.4/152.3 m/z for chloramphenicol, 297.4/254.3 m/z for cryptotanshinone, 295.5/249.3 m/z for tanshinone II(A) and 285.2/154.0 m/z for Diazepam. The calibration curves in the range of 0.625-1 000 microg x L(-1) for protocatechuic acid and protocatechuic aldehyde, 1.25-1 000 microg x L(-1) for salvianolic acid A, 2.5-1 000 microg x L(-1) for salvianolic acid B, 0.15-1 000 microg x L(-1) for cryptotanshinone, 0.625-1 000 microg x L(-1) for tanshinone II(A) are with good linearityin rat plasma and brain. The analysis method is sensitive, simple, and suitable enough to be applied in the pharmacokinetic study of the 6 main components. Animal testing gives the lgBB of the drugs and further studies of the 6 components cross the blood-brain barrier can be carried out.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2017;23(6):734-736
Objective To evaluate the effects of Achilles tendon lengthening on talipes equinus in children with spastic cerebral palsy. Methods From December, 2013 to June, 2014, seventeen spastic cerebral palsy children with talipes equinus (34 feet) received Achilles ten-don lengthening. Ankle dorsiflexion range of motion (ROM) and surface electromyography from tibialis anterior and medial head of gastroc-nemius were measured before and 8 to 12 months after operation, respectively. ROM of passive and active dorsiflexion, root mean square (RMS) of tibia muscle group and co-contraction ratio (CR) when standing were compared. Results The ROM of ankle passive and active dorsiflexion increased (Z>4.867, P<0.001), while the RMS of gastrocnemius muscle decreased when ankle passively dorsiflex (t=4.31, P<0.001). RMS of tibialis anterior and gastrocnemius muscle changed little when standing (Z<1.291, P>0.05), while CR reduced (t=2.38, P<0.05). Conclusion Achilles tendon lengthening can improve the coordination of tibia muscle group to increase the ROM of ankle for chil-dren with talipes equinus after spastic cerebral palsy.

Microbiology 1992;0(02):-
The purpose of this study is to obtain effective and stable bacteriocin-like substance from lactic acid bacteria. Lactobacillus buchneri KLDS1.0364,which was isolated from fermented cream,a traditional dairy product in Inner Mongolia, could produce bacteriocin-like substance. The bacteriocin-like substance produced by KLDS1.0364 was partially purified and the characteristics were studied. The bacteriocin-like substance was purified by SP-Sepharose fast flow cation exchange chromatography. The molecular weight of the bacteriocin-like substance was 21.6kD,as determined by tricine-SDS-PAGE. The bacteriocin-like substance remained stable after 30 min at 121℃ and after 2 h of incubation during pH 2~10. Complete inactivation of antimicrobial activity was observed after treatment of the bacteriocin-like substance with several proteinases. Treatment with catalase and ?-amylase did not result in any changes of antimicrobial activity. The mode of action of the bacteriocin-like substance is bactericidal. It exhibited a broad spectrum of antagonistic activity against various species of Gram-positive bacteria,Gram-negative bacteria and fungi.
