2.Investigation of the Effect of Preparing Lessons Collectively in Teaching Endocrinology

In order to improve the effect of teaching and teachers' ability,make our teaching methods adapt to the social development,the department of Endocrinology used the method of preparing lessons collectively in our teaching.We found that the method not only made the the supply of teachers reasonably but also made good contribution to the students' culture.Practice testified that the method of preparing lessons collectively could adapt to the new model of cultivation and create substantial results.
3.Effects ofTanyu Tongzhi Formula Drug-Containing Serum on Proliferation and Migration of Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells

Objective To observe the effects ofTanyu Tongzhi Formula on proliferation and migration of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs);To explore its activity of pro-angiogenesis.Methods HUVECs were cultured in vitro. Rats were treated with gavage containing different doses ofTanyu Tongzhi Formula (78.0, 39.0, 19.5 g/kg) to prepare serum with different doses of medicine. The activity of HUVECs was measured by MTT method. The effects on migration of HUVECs were inspected by using scratch wound assay.Results Compared with the normal control group, serum containing high-dose and medium-doseTanyu Tongzhi Formula could significantly promote the proliferation of the HUVECs (P<0.01). The rates were 49.78% and 33.92% respectively. And the cell migration rate was higher in the two groups than in the normal control group (P<0.01). The rates were 11.36% and 11.62% respectively.ConclusionTanyu Tongzhi Formula can promote proliferation and migration in HUVEC, which may be active to pro-angiogenesis.

5.Changes in sagittal balance following corrective osteotomy for lumbar degenerative kyphosis

BACKGROUND: At present, more and more scholars pay attention to the influence of spine and pelvis sagittal balance on the quality of life of patients. Postoperative changes in spine imaging parameters fol owing corrective osteotomy for lumbar degenerative kyphosis have not been reported. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate postoperative changes in sagittal balance fol owing corrective osteotomy for lumbar degenerative kyphosis. METHODS: We retrospectively analyzed 35 consecutive lumbar degenerative kyphosis patients treated with posterior osteotomy fixation in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from February 2012 to December 2014. Imaging parameters were measured before fixation, immediately after fixation and during final fol ow-up. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: (1) There were significant differences between preoperative and postoperative parameters except for pelvic incidence angle (P < 0.05). (2) There were significant differences between postoperative and last fol ow-up parameters except for Cobb angle, pelvic incidence angle, thoracic kyphosis angle and the thoracolumbar kyphosis (P < 0.05). (3) Pelvic tilt angle was negatively correlated with lumbar lordosis after fixation (r=-0.610, P < 0.001). Thoracic kyphosis was positively correlated with lumbar lordosis (r=0.598, P < 0.001). (4) Results suggested that lumbar sagittal contour can be significantly improved by corrective osteotomy for lumbar degenerative kyphosis. Simultaneously, reciprocal changes in the adjacent areas such as thoracic spine and pelvis occur to adapt to the new sagittal balance.
9.Rare blood group screening among Chinese blood donors in Shanghai area

Objective To study the distribution of rare blood groups in Chinese populations.Methods The authors detected Di b-and Wr b-(Diego),Tja-(P),Jk(a-b-)(Kidd),K+ and K 0 (Kell),Mur+(Miltinberger),Ge-(Gerbich) and Ena-(MNS) using monoclonal,polyclonal antibodies and urea with IAT and U type 96 well microplate technology.Results One Di(a+b-)was found out of 645 donors,6 Mur + out of 900 donors,7 K+ out of 10057 donors,2 Jk (a-b-) out of 48400 donors and no Wr b-,K 0,Ge-,Ena-phenotypes were found among 4000 random donors.Conclusion The frequencies of Di b-,Mur+,Jk(a-b-)in Chinese are higher than those in Caucasian and black people.
10.On-column Refolding of EC-SOD Inclusion Bodies, Purification and Stability Study

EC-SOD inclusion bodies was refolded on column using metal (Ni) affinity chromatography, based on the metal-binding property of His-tag. The effect of protein amount, urea removal speed and temperature on refolding was observed. We compared the different efficiency purified with Ni-sepharose and Heprain-sepharose affinity chromatography, and studied the stability of the refolded proteins. The results indicate that the inclusion bodies can be renatured with Ni-sepharose affinity chromatography. The increase of the protein amount and urea removal rate , the lower of the renaturation efficiency. Higher temperature was benefit to protein renaturation. Both the Ni-sepharose and Heprain-sepharose affinity column can be used to purified the refolded proteins, but purified by Heprain-sepharose affinity column the protein had higher activity. The activity of renatured protein was stable in 10 ℃~50℃,when pH10 its stability was lower significantly. In denaturating solution the stability of renatured protein was low.
