Leaves of Chrysanthemum morifolium were potential medicinal resource. The present study aims to estimate the main bioactive components: total flavonoids (TF), galuteolin (GA), quercitrin (QU), chlorogenic acid (CA) and 3 ,5-O-caffeoylquinic acid ( CQ), which were considered to be the main effective components, in leaves of C. morfolium cultivars in China. The TF content was estimated hy UV-VIS spectrophotometry, while GA, QU, CA, and CQ were quantitatively determined by HPLC. The highest TF content (7. 13% w/w) was found in cultivar Wan Cong (Shexian county). Cultivar Da Bo ( Bozhou county) had the highest GA content (33. 45 mg - g-1); Cultivar Hong Xin (Sheyang county) contained the highest QU content (29.25 mg · g(-1)); Cultivar Chang Ban (Sheyang county) had the highest CA content (13.14 mg ·(-1)). The maximum CQ content (7.35 mg · g(-1)) was observed in culti- r Da Yang ( Tongxiang county). Different cultivars of C. morfolium had significant difference in components, but the leaf and capitulum of C. morifolium. were found to possess similar chemical compositions. The high content of bioactive components in several cultivars suggested the potential utilization of C. morifolium leaves.

Journal of Forensic Medicine 2008;24(6):414-416
OBJECTIVE:
To study the pathogenesis of viral myocarditis (VMC) and dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) and their relationship.
METHODS:
Sixty samples including 20 VMC, 20 DCM and 20 controls were collected. The expression of Fas protein in myocardium of each group was detected by modified immunohistochemistry with unequivocal brown staining in the myocardial membrane scored as positive, and the results of positive reaction were analyzed by Ridit test.
RESULTS:
Fas protein expression increased obviously in VMC and DCM groups as compared with that of the control group. The difference of positive results between each group analyzed by Ridit test was statistically significant (P<0.005). Statistically significant differences were found between VMC and control groups as well as between DCM and control groups (P<0.05), but not between VMC and DCM groups (P>0.05) by multiple comparison Ridit test.
CONCLUSION
The expression of Fas protein is significantly higher in the VMC and DCM groups than in that of the control group. These results suggest that both the VMC and DCM may share a similar pathogenesis, which most likely involves cell apoptosis.

Objective To evaluate the sensitivity to 5 clinically commonly used anticancer drugs in vivo using the zebrafish xenotransplantation models of human lung cancer, stomach cancer, and liver cancer cells, respectively. Methods Zebrafish xenotransplantation models of A549 lung cancer cells,SGC-7901 stomach cancer cells and HepG2 liver cancer cells were established. The xenograft models of A549 cells were treated with three different doses of cis-platinum, paclitaxel, vinorelbine, endostar and bevacizumab, respectively. The SGC-7901 model was treated with three concentrations or doses of paclitaxel, irinotecan, hydroxyurea, cis-platinum and 5-fluorouracil, respectively. And the HepG2 model was treated with three concentrations or doses of adriamycin,gemcitabine,hydroxyurea,cis-platinum and 5-fluorouracil. The tumors were analyzed and quantified in vivo by fluorescence microscopy, and the inhibition rates of tumor growth with each drug were calculated and compared with the model control group for statistical significance. Results All of the tested anticancer drugs showed inhibitory effect on tumor cells in the zebrafish xenograft models with statistical significance in a dose-dependent manner. During the drug sensitivity test, the inhibition rate of bevacizumab on A549 lung cancer cells decreased in the order(65%)> cis-platinum(55%)> vinorelbine(40%)> endostar(39%)>paclitaxel(27%). As for the SGC-7901 stomach cancer cells, the tumor growth inhibition rate decreased in the order hydroxyurea(46%)> 5-FU(31%)= irinotecan(31%)> paclitaxel(26%)> cis-platinum(24%). And the therapeutic effect of cis-platinum on the HepG2 liver cancer cells decreased in the order(64%)> hydroxyurea(56%)>gemcitabine(46%)> adriamycin(45%)> 5-FU(38%). Conclusions Zebrafish xenotransplantation models of cancer cells are suitable for in vivo sensitivity test of anticancer drugs.

Dermal defection and the degree of its loss determine the natural process of wound healing, which is the key reason leading to excess scar hyperplasia. The function of tri-dimensional structure in dermis acts as a template to regulate the properties of reparative cells. The template structure induces the reparative cells to grow into the structure which changes the skin mechanic status on wound area. Also, the component of extracellular matrix can affect behaviours of fibroblasts negatively or positively, for the reason that the structure of dermal tissue has a permissive effect on the dermal components in regulating behaviours of reparative cells. Therefore, the behaviors of cells depend on the structure of the template. The suitable tri-dimensional structure of dermis facilitates normal cell cycling. The more the structure of dermis closed to its physiological status, the better the biological behaviors of cells act. Moreover, the integrity as well as the continuity of dermal tissue is the prerequisite for serving as a template. The damage to the integrity and the continuity of dermal tissue may be one of the key reasons to lead abnormal tissue repair and scar formation. Thus, we hypothesize that the loss of dermal template may be one of the mechanism of abnormal scar formation and propose the theory of extracellular matrix framework deficiency or destruction.

Chinese Circulation Journal 2018;33(5):457-462
Objectives: This study aimed to observe the change of arachidonic acid-induced platelet aggregation rate (AA-Ag) and short-term adverse reactions after taking 50 or 100 mg/d aspirin(enteric-coated sustained-release formulation) or 100 mg/d aspirin (enteric-coated aspirin tablet)in the elderly Chinese population (aged 60 years or older). Methods: A total of 1 194 participants aged 60 or older, who should be recommended to take aspirin therapy due to medical reasons, were recruited and randomly assigned into three groups to receive enteric-coated sustained-release aspirin tablet (50 mg, once daily, group A), or 100 mg, once daily (group B) or enteric-coated aspirin tablet 100 mg once daily (group C), respectively. AA-Ag was measured after (14±3)days of aspirin treatment. Adverse events and bleeding events were recorded during the (28±3)days of follow-up. Results: The AA-Ag in group A (n=347), B (n=338) and C (n=332) post 14-day aspirin therapy were 6.65 (4.03,10.84)%, 5.89(3.22,10.03) % and 6.00(3.68,10.09) %, respectively (P>0.05). During the 28 days follow-up, the adverse events rate of group A (n=388), B (n=387) and C (n=385) was 3.87%,3.36%, and 7.95%, and the mild bleeding events rate was 3.09%, 2.33%, and 6.23%, respectively. Adverse events rate and mild bleeding events rate were significantly higher in group C than in group A and B (P<0.05). Conclusions: Compared with 100 mg-dose aspirin, 50 mg-dose aspirin achieves similar anti-platelet aggregation effect in this elderly Chinese population. The short-term adverse events and mild bleeding risk of aspirin with enteric-coated sustained-release formulation were fewer than that of enteric-coated formulation.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform(TCMSP) and Bioinformatics Analysis Tool for Molecular Mechanism of Traditional Chinese Medicine(BATMAN-TCM) were searched for the effective components and targets of Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction. The relevant targets for endometriosis(EMT) and dysmenorrhea were retrieved from the Comparative Toxicogenomics Database(CTD), Therapeutic Target Database(TTD), GeneCards, and DisGeNET with the terms of "endometriosis" and "dysmenorrhea". Cytoscape 3.8.0 was employed to construct the drug-active component-therapeutic target network. A protein-protein interaction(PPI) network was established by STRING 11.0. Analyze Network, the plug-in in the Cytoscape 3.8.0, was used to calculate the topological parameters of the nodes and screen out the critical proteins in the network. The potential therapeutic targets were imported into RStudio and subjected to Gene Ontology(GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG) enrichment analyses with clusterProfiler package. Finally, the AutoDock Vina(Vina) platform was used for molecular docking to predict the binding degree of the main active components of Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction to key targets. As revealed by the screening results, 136 active components and 380 targets of Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction were obtained. Additionally, there were 1 627 targets related to EMT and 142 targets related to dysmenorrhea with 107 common targets, and 42 potential therapeutic targets of Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction for the treatment of EMT-induced dysmenorrhea. The targets such as interleukin 6(IL6) and prostaglandi-nendoperoxide synthase-2(PTGS2) were pivotal in the biological network of Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction intervention in EMT-induced dysmenorrhea, which involved multiple signaling pathways, including inflammation, hormones, and those promoted cell proliferation [e.g., mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK) and phosphatidylinositol-3 kinase(PI3 K)-protein kinase B(AKT)]. The results of molecular docking showed that the active components of Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction had good binding capacities to key targets such as IL6 and PTGS2. The findings of this study demonstrated that Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction could treat EMT-induced dysmenorrhea through multiple targets and multiple pathways, which could provide new ideas for investigating the underlying mechanism of Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction in the treatment of EMT-induced dysmenorrhea.

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the effects of hand-transmitted vibration exposure on the finger vibratory and pain perception thresholds among drill workers in a gold mine. METHODS: By the judgement sampling method,134 male drill workers from a gold mine in the northern area of China were selected as the hand-transmitted vibration exposure group and102 fit-up workers without vibration exposure in the same mine were chosen as the control group. The finger vibratory perception thresholds, the pain perception thresholds and the occupational health examination were conducted and analyzed in these two groups. Based on the self-report with vibration-induced white finger( VWF),the workers of hand-transmitted vibration exposure group were divided into non-VWF subgroup( 105 workers) and VWF subgroup( 29 workers). RESULTS: The incidence of finger numbness, pain and self-reported white finger in the exposure group were significantly higher than those in the control group( P < 0. 05). Compared with the control group, the vibratory perception thresholds of the index finger, middle finger and ring finger of the right hand among the vibration exposure group workers were significantly higher( P < 0. 05),but there was no significant difference in the vibratory perception thresholds of the left ring finger between the two groups( P > 0. 05). The vibratory perception thresholds of both ring fingers, right index finger and right middle-finger in VWF subgroup were higher than those in control group( P < 0. 05). But no significant differences was found in the above 4 indexes in these two groups after compared to those of control group, respectively( P > 0. 05). The vibratory perception thresholds of left ring finger, right ring finger and right index finger in VWF subgroup were all higher than those in non-VWF subgroup( P < 0. 05),but the vibratory perception thresholds of right middle finger in these two groups showed no significant difference( P > 0. 05). The pain perception thresholds of index finger, middle finger and ring finger in both hands of the vibration exposure group workers were all higher than those in control group( P < 0. 05). The pain perception thresholds of middle finger and ring finger in both hands of the VWF subgroup and non-VWF subgroup were higher than those of control group( P < 0. 05). CONCLUSION: The hand-transmitted vibration can increase the thresholds of finger vibratory and pain perception in drill workers. The finger sensory perception examination could be used to assist the early detection of peripheral nerve damage induced by hand-transmitted vibration.

Objective: The aim of the study is to analyze the effects of vestibular spontaneous nystagmus(SN) on the smooth pursuit function of visual ocularmotor system. Methods: A total of 46 patients with acute unilateral peripheral vestibular syndrome with SN (26 cases of vestibular neuritis, 6 cases of Ramsay Hunt Syndrome (RHS) with vertigo, 14 cases of sudden deafness with vertigo) were included in this work. In the study group, the results of SPT and SN test with videonystagmography(VNG) were also reviewed. Taking SPT parameters, the influence of SN intensity on SPT gain, asymmetry and waveform and their correlation were analyzed.SPSS19.0 software was used for statistical analysis. Results: Among the 46 patients, there were 36 cases of SN pointing to the healthy side(SN intensity range of 2.68°/s-32.53°/s), and 10 cases of SN pointing to the affected side (SN intensity range of 2.66°/s-16.54°/s). SN intensity was divided into 3 groups, including light(0.50°/s-5.00°/s), medium(5.01°/s-10.00°/s) and strong(>10.01°/s), accounting for 14 cases(30.4%), 18 cases(39.1%) and 14 cases(30.4%), respectively. The differences of the gain of SPT to the fast phase and slow phase direction in the overall groups and light, medium and strong groups of SN intensity respectively were statistically significant(ttotal=13.338, tlight=6.184, tmedium=8.436, tstrong=8.477, all of P<0.001). The difference of SPT gain in SN fast phase direction between groups with different SN intensity was statistically significant(F=9.639, P<0.001),there was no statistically significant difference in SPT gain between the groups on the SN slow phase direction(F=1.137, P=0.330).The SN intensity significantly negatively correlated with the SPT gain of the fast phase direction of SN (r=-0.433, P=0.003), that was, the SPT gain on the fast phase direction of SN decreased with the increase of SN intensity. There was no significant correlation between SN intensity and the gain of SPT on the slow phase direction of SN (r=-0.061, P=0.687). SPT waveform analysis showed that type I, type II and type III accounted for 8 cases(17.4%), 21 cases(45.6%) and 17 cases(37.0%), respectively. The corresponding mean values of SN intensity were (3.71±0.69)°/s, (7.44±1.88)°/s, (20.04±5.53)°/s, respectively, without type IV wave. The intensity of SN was positively correlated with the asymmetric value of the gain of SPT left and right(r=0.450,P=0.002). That was, with the increase of SN strength, the asymmetric value also increased, and the worse the asymmetry of the gain of SPT left and right pursuit was, the worse the SPT waveform was. Conclusion: SPT gain, asymmetry and SPT waveforms are all affected by SN, and the greater the intensity of SN, the greater the influence on the three. When SN is strong, type III waves may occur, suggesting that acute peripheral vestibular syndrome can also affect the visual ocularmotor systems.
