Long-term use of systemic or topical glucocorticoid can cause posterior subcapsular opacities ( PSO ) , named glucocorticoid-induced cataract ( GIC ) . There are many hypotheses on the pathogenesis of GIC. However, no one has well explained the formation of PSO, which leads to no effective approaches in the prevention and/or treatment. A new opinion is that hormones might affect lens epithelial cells through GR - mediated vimentin changes, which eventually result in the formation of GIC. Therefore, the association between vimentin and lens epithelial cell proliferation and differentiation, maybe a new direction for further studies in the pathogenesis of GIC.
2.CHANGES OF PLASMA IMMUNOREACTIVE ?-ENDORPHIN LEVEL IN NIDDM AND ITS RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRONIC COMPLICATIONS
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 1986;0(04):-
Plasma concentrations of immunoreactivc beta-endorphin in patients with NIDDM were measured by radioimmuno-assay. It was found that the plasma beta-endorphin levels decreased in 68 cases of NIDDM especially in those with long duration of illness and chronic complication. These results suggested that beta-endorphin may be related to diabetes and its chronic complication.
3.How to perform the follow-up analysis of visual field test
Ophthalmology in China 1993;0(01):-
In the course of follow-up analyses of visual field test,it should take more than two visual field tests that had similar results as baseline test, and some factors should be taken into account, such as accordant testing conditions, reliable indeces, test errors and fluctuation effects, and so on.The indeces of Mean Deviation(MD)and Pattern Standard Deviation(PSD)could reflect the whole change trend of follow-up visual field test, while sensitivity value of every point and their pattern deviations could help to analyse tiny changes of visual field tests. Those statistic softwares provided by automatic perimetry should be used adequately.Through the follow-up analyses of visual field test, glaucoma doctors could adjust therapy schemes in time in order to obtain objective intraocular pressure and stabilize visual field and glaucoma.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(12):-
Objective To observe age-dependent feature of damage of hippocampus to different maturational stages rats after kindling repeated seizures. Methods The effects of 5 daily pentylenetetrazol-induced convulsions in different rats beginning at postnatal day 10,20,60(P10,P20,P60)were evaluated. In the 3 groups,Thionin staining method was utilized to observe morphological changes and cell counting of dentate granule cells,CA3,CA1,and hilar neurons.Timm's method of silver sulfide staining was adopted to observe the mossy fiber sprouting. Results 1.Cell counting of CA1,CA3 and hilar neurons in P10 and P20 groups demonstrated no differences from controls in rats, whereas P60 with daily seizures had a significant decrease in CA1,CA3 neurons(8.22?1.88,5.62?1.68 vs 6.31?1.50,3.62?1.40)(t=2.246,2.587 Pa

International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2010;32(4):376-377
History and current situation of hospital preparation in our country and practical demands of pharmaceutical industry were analyzed. With the implementation of GMP in pharmaceutical industry and enhanced drug administration, lots of problems were exposed. The scale of hospital preparation was decreasing year by year, though it still stayed at a predominate position in hospital works currently.

International Eye Science 2015;(7):1259-1260
AlM: To investigate the influences of 577nm panretinal photocoagulation ( PRP ) on the retinal thickness of macular fovea on diabetic retinopathy ( DR) .METHODS:A total of 45 eyes of 37 cases suffering from preproliferative diabetic retinopathy ( PPDR ) and proliferative diabetic retinopathy ( PDR ) undergoing 577nm PRP were enrolled in this study. The alterations of the retinal thickness of macular fovea measured by optovue optical coherence tomography( OCT) before and 1, 3, 6mo following PRP were comparatively analyzed.RESULTS: The macularfoveal retinal thickness after 1, 3mo of PRP had significantly increased that before operation (P<0. 05). After 6mo postoperative follow-up, it gradually recovered to the level before PRP, with no significant difference (P>0. 05).CONCLUSlON: After the treatment of PRP, it appeared a transient increase on the retinal thickness of macular fovea, but after 6mo following-up, the macular foveal retinal thickness decreased nearly to the levels before PRP.

Journal of Environment and Health 1993;0(01):-
Objective To observe the effect of relative humidity on indoor concentrations of formaldehyde and ammonia. Methods 12 currently decorated rooms were randomly divided into 3 groups, 4 rooms involved in each, in which the average relative humidity of rooms were 55%,65% and 75% respectively. The concentrations of formaldehyde, ammonia were monitored every two days for 9 consecutive days according to GB/T18204.26 -2000 and GB/T18204.25-2000. Results The concentrations of formaldehyde and ammonia decreased gradually with the prolongation of the experimental period. The concentrations of formaldehyde in the rooms of 55%,65% and 75% relative humidity groups decreased significantly after the 5th, 3rd, 3rd day of the experiment compared with those in the same group at the 1st day of the experiment respectively(P

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2017;21(11):1790-1797
BACKGROUND: Establishment of lumbar disc degeneration in animal models can help doctors understand the development rules and pathophysiological changes of this disease, and can explore and research more rational treatment by creating animal models.OBJECTIVE: To review recent advances in vivo model of lumbar disc degeneration.METHODS: The first author used the computer to search related articles on PubMed database and Chinese Journal Full-text Database from inception to May 2016. The search key words were lumbar disc, degeneration, animal model, vivo model. A total of 161 related articles were retrieved and 49 of them met the inclusion criteria.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: (1) Building an intuitive and reliable animal model of lumbar disc degeneration will not only help the basic research of degenerative disc disease, but also provide a good experimental carrier for the repair treatment of degenerative lumbar disc. (2) After more than 80 years of development, the animal model of lumbar disc degeneration has formed a production mode of more species, more methods and newer ideas. Current models have their own advantages, cannot be replaced. However, problems such as poor controllability, low degree of safety or long observation period are still exiting more or less. All these need further research and exploration.
