Objective To investigate the association between the expression of RASSF1A and Survivin proteins and clinicopathological characteristics in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and their clinical significance. Methods Expression of RASSF1A and Survivin proteins in the NSCLC tissue microarrays was detected by S-P Immunohistochemistry. Results The positive expression of RASSF1A in NSCLC (46.8 %) was significantly lower than that of in the normal lung tissues (92.9 %) (P < 0.001), but the positive expression of Survivin in NSCLC (78.5 %) was significantly higher than that of in the normal lung tissues (0%) (P<0.001). The percentage of RASSFI A protein expression in the stage Ⅰ and stage Ⅱ of NSCLC was evidently higher than that of in the stage Ⅲ (P<0.001, respectively), however, the percentage of Survivin protein expression in the stage Ⅰ and stage Ⅱ of NSCLC was significantly lower than that of in the stage Ⅲ (P=0.003, P=0.001). The percentage of RASSF1A in NSCLC with lymph node metastasis was observably lower than that of in cases without lymph node metastasis (P<0.05). Furthermore, there was observably negative correlation between expression of RASSF1A protein and that of Survivin protein in NSCLC (r=-0.780, P<0.001). Conclusion The loss expression of RASSF1A protein, over expression of Survivin protein and loss balance of expression of both RASSF1A and Survivin proteins in NSCLC might play important roles in the development and progression of NSCLC; RASSF1A and Survivin proteins might be acted as one helpful molecular marker to predict the lymph node metastasis and the prognosis of NSCLC.

Objective To analyze the serumα1-antitrypsin (α1-AT) and α1-glycoprotein (α 1-AGP) in children with Wilms tumor,and to explore the clinical application value.Methods Thirtyeight children with Wilms tumor who received treatment from January 2007 to December 2010 were designed as observation group,38 healthy children were designed as control group.Fluorescence quantitative PCR was performed to analyze α 1-AT andα 1-AGP mRNA transcription levels of two groups,and ELISA was used to measure the serum concentration of α 1-AT and α 1-AGP.Results The mRNA levels of α 1-AT and α 1-AGP in observation group were 3.50 ± 0.37 and 2.10 ± 0.41,which were significantly higher than those in control group (0.90 ± 0.45,0.50 ± 0.24) (P =0.000,0.002).The levels of α 1-AT and α 1-AGP in observation group were (4516.8 ± 102.4),(1316.0 ± 27.3) g/L,which were significantly higher than those in control group [(2467.4 ± 23.8),(728.6 ± 9.4) g/L] (P =0.015,0.008).Conclusion To detect the levels of α 1-AT and α 1-AGP have the potential value for the diagnosis of Wilms tumor,which can be applied to early screening.

l014 faecal specimens were collected from 4 hospitals in Nanjing to investigate the infection of Cryptosporidium. Each faecal specimen was smeared and screened by auramine-phenol staining method for oocyst, the positive and suspected specimens were identified by modified acid-fast staining method and safranin-methylene blue staining method. The result showed that 13 spccimens were positive by auramine-phenol staining method and confirmed by modified acid-fast staining method. 5 suspected specimens were negative as shown by the latter two methods.The best result could be obtained when auramine-phenol staining method was first used and folloWed by modified acid-fast staining method. This-technique is simple, sensitive and reliable. It is difficult to find oocysts by safranin methylene blue staining method when the oocysts are few (Figs. l-3).

From the beginning of the 20th century, Alois Alzheimer, a German doctor, discovered Alzheimer′s disease, so far, the isease-related research has been the focus of researchers all over the world. From Alzheimer's disease to mild cognitive impairment, then to subjective cognitive impairment, the attention phase of the disease is also being advanced. Subjective cognitive impairment, as a stage earlier than mild cognitive impairment, has important implications for the early diagnosis and intervention of Alzheimer′s disease.This article will summarize the research progress of conception and screening instruments for subjective cognitive impairment at home and abroad.

Objective To explore the pathogenic bacteria and immunologic mechanism of recurrent respiratory tract infection(RRI) in children.Methods The observation group included 50 children with RRI,26 cases were boys and 24 cases were girls, in Department of Respiratory Medicine of Wuhan Children′s Hospital were enrolled from Apr.2007 to Apr.2008.These children were divided into 3 subset groups:28 cases in 6 months-2 years old group,15 cases in 3-5 years old group,and 7 cases in 6-12 years old group.The healthy control group included 50 healthy children aged 6 months -12 years.The specimens were gathered on the next morning after the children entered hospital.The secretions of noses and pharynxes were gathered with clean and aseptic tampon from children with upper respiratory tract infection and placed in aseptic vessel,and were immediately detected with the pathogenic bacteria.The secretions of lower respiratory tract were gathered with suction method from children with lower respiratory tract infection and placed in aseptic vessel, and were immediately detected with the pathogenic bacteria,the number of superinfection with some kind of pathogenic bacteria was calculated.The children in observation group and healthy control group were exsanguinated of vein when the children were hungry to detect the cellular immunity(CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+) and humoral immunity(IgA,IgM,IgG,C3,C4).Results Three hundred and two specimens in 6 months-2 years old group were detected,and 135 pathogenic bacteria were separated,the ratio of positive was 42.2%,and the number of superinfection was 25.One hundred and thirty-seven specimens in 3-5 years old group were detected,and 47 pathogenic bacteria were separated,the ratio of positive was 34.3%,and the number of superinfection was 7.Fifty-four specimens in 6-12 years old group were detected,and 16 pathogenic bacteria were separated,the ratio of positive was 29.6%,and the number of superinfection was 2.The top 5 kinds of bacteria that those children with RRI were easily infected were Ps.aeruginosa,K.pneumoniae,S.aurens,E.coli and streptococcus pneumoniae.The CD3+,CD8+ and CD4+/CD8+ of cellular immunity in the observation group were obviously lower than those in the healthy control group(Pa

Purpose To study on the antithrombotic effect of polysaccharide of Auricularia auriculajudae.Methods The method of hot water extraction for extracting polysaccharide from Auricularia auriculajudae was used. The antithrombotic effect was studied by animal experiments.The length and the weight of arterial thrombosis were determined. Characteristic thrombus formation time (CTFT), and thrombus formation time (TFT),the rate of platelet adhesion and the blood viscosity were determined also.Results As compared with the normal saline group,polysaccharide of Auricularia auriculajudae(ig) remarkedly prolonged CTFT and TFT.The length of thrombus was shortened. Thrombus wet weight, thrombus dry weight,and blood viscosity were decreased, yet had no significant influence on the rate of platelet adhesion.Conclusion Polysaccharides of Auricularia auriculajudae can significantly inhitit the formation of thrombus.

Objective To evaluate the change of the amount of collagen in the viemedic RF ASC01IC non-ablative photorejuveantion,in order to provide reference for effective clinical treatment.Methods Twenty rats were randomly divided into two groups,with ten rats in each group.The rats'skin was dividied into two areas by spine.The left side was used as control,and the right side was experiment side,which was treated with RF by viemedic RF ASC011C for five times at interval of seven days,and ten minutes in each time.The content of collagen in the dermis was measured by immunohistochemical method,the thickness of collagen bundles in the dermis was measured under HE staining and the quantity of collagen fibers was compared by collagen fibers staining.Results Epidermis was more smooth,the collagen fiber was thicker and the content of fibroblasts,collagen was higher in experiment side.Image quantitative analysis showed significant improvement in area density of collagen fibers.Conclusions RF is a very safe and effective method for non-ablative photorejuvnation.

Concealed penis is usually found in children, which affects the patients both physiologically and psychologically. Some of the patients are wrongly treated by circumcision, which may bring about serious consequences to the sexual life of the patients in their adulthood. In the recent years, this disease has been receiving more and more attention from both doctors and parents. However, controversies remain as to its classification, pathogenesis, pathology, and treatment. This paper focuses on the understanding and advances in the studies of concealed penis.
