1.MAPPING WITH H-C LEAD IN THE DIAGNOSIS OF CHRONIC MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(04):-
A new body surface projection method and a method of mapping with the H-C lead, based on the wave array transmission hypothesis of electrocardial solid field, are proposed. The results of mapping with the H-C lead in 31 cases of established chronic myocardial infarction were compared with those made synchronously with Wilson's lead and other limb leads. The present study demonstrated that mapping with the H-C lead had following three advantages: (1) the patterns of the left ventricular infarction were consistent with those of the Wilson's lead mapping; (2) the right border of the infarction outline was quite clear; (3) the configuration of the surface projection of the upper wall and diaphragmatic wall of both ventricular infarction, and the anterior, lateral and posterior wall of right ventricular infarction could be satisfactorily defined. Re-cults of the mapping with H-C lead in 31 cases also showed pseudo-infarction 12.9%, infarction involving right ventricle 35.5%, involving diaphragmatic wall 41.9%, and involving upper wall 45.2%. There were twenty two different patterns of surface mapping in 27 cases in this series.

Osteoblasts are the most important mechanoreceptive and osteogenic cells. The loss of bone in microgravity is mainly due to the dysfunction of osteoblasts.Research on osteoblast cytology under simulated weightlessness has made great progress in recent years.Current experiments are focusing on the changes in the cellular proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis, function and signal transduction in osteoblasts. This paper reviews the progress of the studies in this field.

Objective To investigate the mechanisms of enophthalmos and deformities of orbital walls in patients with orbital blowout fracture and to evaluate the reconstructive surgical methods. Methods The features of orbital deformities, the change of orbital volume and the mechanisms of enophthalmos were measured and analyzed by means of 3-D CT technique and 3-D diagnostic computer-assisted system. The reconstructive operations were employed on these 11 cases with orbital blowout fractures to correct deformities and restore orbital volume by applying autogenous bone grafts or hydroxyapatite bone substitutes. Results There were no serious complications such as infection of bone graft, exposure of hydroxypatite implant in all 11 cases, 10 cases got satisfactory appearance of eyelids and orbit, of which thediplopia and enophthalmos were corrected with protrution of eyeball restoring normally. 1 case remained diplopia after surgical correction. Conclusions The enophthalmos is mainly caused by orbital volume enlarging and orbital content herniating into paranasal sinuses. Implanting autogenous grafts and hydroxyapatite substitutes to restore orbital volume are proved to be effective.

Objective To compare the expression of renal transforming growth factor-?_1(TGF-?_1),its receptors type Ⅰ and Ⅱ(T?RⅠ and T?R Ⅱ) in two rat models of chronic nephropathy induced by CsA and FK506 respectively. Methods Rat models of chronic CsA-/FK506-induced nephropathy were established by administering sandimun Neoral and Prograf separately. Then their kidneys were dissected and the protein expression of TGF-?_1,T?RⅠand T?RⅡ,the mRNA levels of T?RⅠ and T?RⅡ was detected by using immunohistochemistry(IHC) and in situ hybridization(ISH) respectively. Results The IHC revealed that the integrated optical densities(IODs) of renal TGF-?_1,T?RⅠ and T?RⅡ were(605.24)?(140.24),(876.28)?(208.73) and(981.59)?(258.65) respectively in CsA-treated rats,(488.37)?(101.76),(586.63)?(131.21) and(543.34)?(105.26) respectively in FK506-treated ones. The ISH indicated that the IODs of renal T?RⅠ and T?RⅡ mRNA were(905.08)?(158.75) and(1090.92)?(242.73) respectively in CsA-treated rats,(661.37)?(205.65) and(716.27)?(195.55) respectively in FK506-treated ones. The difference of the above-mentioned five factors between the two groups was significant(P

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(06):-
Thirty three tibial fractures treated with interlocking intramedullary nail(IMN) were reviewed. Of all the patients, 16 were fixed with reamed IMN, and 17 with nonreamed IMN. There were 22 closed and 11 open fractures. Twenty seven patients were followed up for an average of 17.9 months (4 to 31 months). Of all the patients, 22 healed in 6 months, delayed healing occurred in 1,and in 1 the distal locking screw was broken. In the close fractures, the mean time from fracture to operation was 3.55 days (from the injury day to 27 days) , and in the open fractures operation was all done on the day of injury. Nonreamed IMN was used in 12 closed fractures (54.5%, 12/22 ) , and reamed IMN was used in 4 open fractures (36.3%, 4/11). There was no postoperative compartment syndrome or infection. The interlocking intramedullary pin is indicated for the tibia fractures, and early operation is feasible . The nonreamed interlocking intramedullary pin is suitable for open fractures and multi injuries.

ObjectiveUsing large sample clinical study to reevaluate the safety and efficacy of recombinant human growth hormone(ANSOMONE) in treating pediatric growth hormone deficiency(GHD).Methods1012 cases were administered with ANSOMONE at a dose of 0.1 IU · kg-1 · d -1 in bedtime for 6 months. The alteration of mean height, growth rate, height standard deviation scores, bone age,and anti-GH antibody and occurrence of adverse effects were observed.ResultsThe growth rate was promoted from ( 2.50 ± 0.85 ) cm/year to ( 13.44 ± 4.27 ) cm/year,the net growth rate was( 10.94 ±3.69)cm/year.There was significant difference between the pre-treatment and post-treatment patients ( P < 0.01 ).The post-treatment anti-GH antibody positive rate was 13.34%,which had no obvious effect on the efficacy.Few patients exert transient inflammation reactions, which disappeared with any treatment.ConclusionANSOMONE had significant efficacy, and could promote the height increase obviously. It had good safety without any obvious side effect and early-maturing effect.

Objective To observe the expression of leukocyte-function-associated antigen-1(LFA-1)immunoreaction in children with febrile seizures(FS),and explore the neuroimmunomodulation mechanisms in the pathogenesis of FS.Methods Adopting flow cytometry(FCM),the levels of LFA-1 contained in blood serum and peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC)of 60 cases [simple FS(SFS)30 cases;complex FS(CFS)30 cases] with febrile convulsion were analyzed, and compared with those in a normal group(30 cases).Out of 60 children with FS group, the LFA-1 mRNA in 20 cases with SFS and 20 cases with CFS was analyzed, and LFA-1 mRNA in19 health children taken out from control group(30 cases)was analyzed. The real-time PCR was used to detect the expression of PBMC LFA-1 mRNA.Results The expression of LFA-1 in the surface of PBMC of the 3 groups, the highest LFA-1 level was in the SFS group(50.89?21.36),the lowest LFA-1 level was in the CFS group(34.35?11.45),and control group was(41.39?16.30).Significant differences were found in 3 groups(Pa

Objective To explore the effect of interferon-?(IFN-?)on phenotypic transition of human Tenon’s conjunctival capsular fibroblast(HTCF). Methods Cultured HTCF derived from 4 operated human cataracts was induced for 48 hours in absence or presence of IFN-? and/or transforming growth factor-?1(TGF-?1). Then immunocytochemistry and Western blot technology were used to detect the ?-smooth muscle actin(?-SMA)expression and identificate the cell phenotype. Results In contrast to normal HTCF, IFN-?(10 ng/mL) inhibited the expression of ?-SMA(P
