Under the high pressure of employment, traditional teaching method that is based on inculcating the knowledge to students does not adjust current condition any more. So, we start to looking for a new, more suitable way of teaching.--Project Based-on Learning, and have analyzed the advantages in health information technology teaching by construction doctrine in combination with the concept and principle in wedlock construction. At the same time we introduce project Based-on Learning in concrete application to find a way to put the theory into practice.
2.Magnetic resonance spectroscopic study of memory impairment after cerebral infarction treated with electroacupuncture.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(7):657-660
OBJECTIVETo study the impacts of electroacupuncture (EA) on memory impairment after cerebral infarction through the observation of hydrogen proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H-MRS) of brain tissue metabolites in the patients of cerebral infarction.
METHODSSixty cases of memory impairment after cerebral infarction were randomized into an observation group and a control group, 30 cases in each one. The conventional rehabilitation training and medication were applied to all the patients. In the observation group, beside the basic treatment, EA was applied to bilateral Ezhongxian (MS 1), Dingzhongxian (MS 5), Dingniehouxiexian (MS 7), Hegu (LI 4), Taichong (LR 3), Zusanli (ST 36), Taixi (KI 3), Xuanzhong (GB 39) and Fengchi (GB 20). The treatment was given once a day, 5 times a week, for 8 weeks. The clinical memory scale was used for the score evaluation before and after treatment in all the patients. The magnetic resonance image (MRI) and 1H-MRS scanning were applied to the head. The ratio of N-acetyl aspartate (NAA) and creatine (Cr) and the ratio of choline (Cho) and Cr were determined in the foci of cerebral infarction.
RESULTSEight weeks later, the scores of clinical memory scale were all increased after treatment as compared with those before treatment in the two group (all P<0. 01). The ratio of NAA and Cr was increased as compared with that before treatment (P<0. 05); the ratio of Cho and Cr was reduced as compared with that before treatment (P<0. 05). The changes in the observation group were more obvious than those in the control group (all P<0. 05).
CONCLUSIONOn the basis of the conventional medication and rehabilitation training, EA improves the metabolism of brain tissue and memory function of the patients. The efficacy of this therapy is better than that of medication combined with rehabilitation training.

3.Progress in genetic models associated with Parkinson's disease
International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2009;32(5):313-316
Parkinson's disease(PD) is a kind of degenerative disease caused by both genetic and environ-mental factors. Concerning these two factors, various animal models for parkinson's disease were made for the study. Transgenic animal models were made by the method of microinjection, electronic perforation, particle bom-bardment, virus vector transfection and so on, which can express exogenous target gene. These models imitated the process of Parkinson's desease induced by virulence gene and provided a powerful tool for investigation on e-tiopathogenesis, gene therapy and medical intervention. In this article, we reviewed the progress of genetic models associated with PD and theirs contribution to PD research.
4.Neuroprotective effect of salidroside
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2011;19(2):137-141
In vitro and in vivo animal model experiments have found that salidroside has protective effect for various causes induced injuries in various neurons and brain tissue. Its mechanisms of neuroprotection are multiple:(1)Protecting neurons from apoptotic injury by resisting oxidative stress, preventing intracellular Ca2 + overload, inhibiting caspase-3 activation, and attenuating hypoxia-induced abnormal metabolism of amyloid precursor protein;(2)promoting directional differentiation of stem cells into neurons and inducing neuronal regeneration;(3)promoting erythropoietin stimulating erythroblasts to be differentiated into erythrocytes and decreasing cerebrovascular resistance, and improving cerebral hypoxia-ischemia.Salidroside is expected to be used in the prevention and treatment of cerebral ischemic and neurodegenerative diseases, such as cerebral infarction,Alzheimer's disease,Parkinson's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and diabetic encephalopathy.
5.Study on the optimal suctioning negative pressure based on sputum viscosity in brain-injured patients with tracheotomy
Chinese Journal of Nursing 2009;44(8):694-697
Objective To determine the optimal suetioning negative pressure based on various sputum viscosity in brain-in-jured patients with tracheotomy. Methods Forty-three traumatic brain-injured patients with traeheotomy were recruited in the study. The negative pressure was determined based on the grade of sputum viscosity. Grade Ⅰ sputum was suetioned with the negative pressure of 13.3kPa,16.0kPa,20.0kPa and 24.0kPa, while Grade Ⅱ sputum with 20.0kPa,24.0kPa,26.TkPa and 29.3kPa,and Grade Ⅲ sputum with 26.7kPa,29.3kPa, 33.3kPa and 37.2kPa. The oxygen saturation(SpO2)was mort-itored before and lmin,3min,5min after endotracheal suctioning. At the same time, the suctioning time and tissue trauma were recorded. The data were analyzed by repeated measures analysis of variance with SPSS 13.0 software. Results The results showed that the optimal negative pressure was 13.3-16.0kPa for grade Ⅰ sputum,24.0-26.7kPa for grade Ⅱ sputum and 33.3kPa for grade Ⅲ sputum, which could ensure the minimum decrease of SpO2 and control the suctioning time within 25s or 30s respectively. Conclusion For traumatic brain-injured patients, varions negative pressure should be selected based on the sputum viscosity by the clinical nurses when suctioning is performed,in order to avoid hypoxemia and tissue trauma caused by suctioning.
6.Competing endogenous RNAs: role in pancreatic cancer
International Journal of Surgery 2014;41(12):841-844
Pancreatic cancer is one of the most common gastrointestinal malignancies, and the main unsolved obstacles, which we must figure out,are the early detection and diagnosis, and the improvement in treatments. The ceRNA (competing endogenous RNA,ceRNA) hypothesis provides significant clues and a novel direction for understanding the mechanisms of tumor occurrence and progression, microRNAs and lncRNAs (long non coding RNAs,lncRNAs) are important components in ceRNA hypothesis.Researches have discovered that both overexpression and silence of miRNAs and abnormal expression of some lncRNAs are related to the occurrence and progression of pancreatic cancer. This paper reviewed the contents and mechanisms of ceRNA hypothesis, members of ceRNA network as well as the role of ceRNAs in pancreatic neoplasms.
7.Network of multiple factors and cascades: hotspots of mechanism studies for diabetic retinopathy
Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases 2013;(1):5-8
The pathogenesis of diabetic retinopathy is complicated. The vast network of multiple factors including unifying mechanism, inflammatory reaction, neuron degeneration and metabolic memory of glucose, and the four established pathogenic molecular pathways are hotspots of mechanism research for diabetic retinopathy.Nevertheless, these researches may be only one corner of the iceberg of DR mechanism, and we still face enormous challenges in DR mechanism research.Collaboration with multiple disciplines to study the relationship between DR and diabetes and other systemic diseases, search novel therapy targets may increase the result in an unexpected windfall for DR basic research.
8.Research progress on pharmacologic action of Atractylodis Rhizoma and its effective constituent in in digestive system
Drug Evaluation Research 2017;40(3):411-419
The pharmacologic action of Atractylodis Rhizoma and its effective constituents in digestive system includes mainly anti-ulcer activity, acceleration of gastric emptying, regulation of gastrointestinal propellant movement, antidiarrheat effect, choleretic effect, hepatoprotection, and promotion of digestive and absorptive function.Atractylodis Rhizoma decreases gastric acid secretion via blockade of H2-receptor,and inhibits overexpression of inflammatory cytokines in gastric tissues to produce anti-ulcer effect.Atractylodis Rhizoma increases gastric mucosal blood flow, and improves growth and reparation of gastric mucosa to produce anti-ulcer effect by blockade of 5-TH receptor, and elevating levels of gastrin and trefoil factor in serum and gastric tissues.Atractylodis Rhizoma accelerating gastric emptying and gastrointestinal propellant movement is relative to decreasing release of central corticotropin-releasing factor, and stimulating vagal nerve, and promoting secretion of gastrin and motilin, and inhibiting secretion of vasoactive intestinal peptide, and blocking 5-HT-3receptor,and increasing amount of interstitial cell of Cajal.
9.Progress on pharmacological research of cardioprotection by salidroside
Drug Evaluation Research 2017;40(1):125-132
By increasing the release of Ca2+ from sarcoplasmic reticulum in cardiomyocytes, salidroside elevates myocardial contraction, and by up-regulation of sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca2+-ATPase expression, and down-regulation ofcalcineurin expression to promote Ca2+ return to sarcoplasmic reticulum, salidroside obstructs Ca2+ overload-induced myocardial injury, and improves heart function.Salidroside inhibits lipid peroxidation, and increases activities of enzymatic antioxidants in heart tissue, and inhibits expression of inflammatory cytokines, and mitochondrial permeability transition pore opening, thus blocks myocardial apoptosis,by anti-oxidation and anti-inflammation;salidroside improves myocardial ischemia by up-regulation of hypoxia-inducible factor and vascular endothelial growth factor expression to promote angiogenesis in ischemic myocardium;salidroside improves respiratory function of mitochondria in myocardium by stimulating PGC-1 αt-NRF-1/NRF-2 signaling pathway to produce finally cardioprotective effect. These effects of salidroside are thought that are major mechanism of antagonizing cardiac injury induced by hypoxia,ischemia,ischemic-reperfusion,exhaustive exercise, chemicals, and biologic toxin.
10.Research advances on effects of ursolic acid and oleanolic acid against hepatic steatosis and fibrosis
Drug Evaluation Research 2017;40(2):270-278
Anti-oxidation of ursolic acid and oleanolic acid antagonizes oxidative stress-induced lipid peroxidation, inflammatory injury, steatosis, and fibrosis in liver tissue.Ursolic acid and oleanolic acid could block static state hepatic stellate cells activation and proliferation, and promote active state hepatic stellate cells apoptosis, thus decrease expression of collagen, and increase decomposition of extracellular matrix,to produce the effect in prevention and treatment of hepatic fibrosis by obstruction of JAK2-STAT3 signal transduction to inhibit NOX activation.Ursolic acid and oleanolic acid induce expression of detoxification enzymes and effiux transporters to reduce serum levels of bile acids and bilirubin, and liver levels of bile acids in cholestatic animal, thus ameliorating cholestatic liver injury and fibrosis.Ursolic acid and oleanolic acid inhibit occurrence and development of hepatic steatosis via decreasing hyperlipidemia to inhibit lipid out of liver accumulating to liver, inhibiting hepatic lipid synthesis, and improving lipid metabolism.
