3.Progress of Toll-like receptors in asthma
International Journal of Pediatrics 2010;37(3):258-260,263
Asthma is heterogeneous disorder which caused by a complicated interaction between multiple genes and environmental factors. A increasing number of attention has paid in the researches about its pathogenic mechanism and therapeutic strategies. Not only can Toll-like receptors and signal transduction pathways mediate relevant immunocyte of asthma, but also induce or restrain development of asthma. TLRs is a land of pattern recognition receptor(PRRs), which can rely on the conserved sequence of gene encoding to identify pathogenic microorganism, meanwhile activate innate immunity, adjust acquired immunity and induce immune tolerance.

5.Complication of Titanic Elastic Stable Intramedullary Nail Fixation for Long Bone Fractures in Children
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(12):-
Objective To analyze the complications during and after the surgical treatment for long bone fractures in children with titanic elastic intramedullary nail(TEN),in order to improve the technique and potential shortcomings in these surgeries, and reduce the incidence of complications. Methods A retrospective study was done on the 182 children with long bone fractures treated with TEN from Jan.2005 to Jan.2008.A summary and analysis was made on the complications of these cases. Results All the 182 cases had the bones healed.During the operation, split in bone cortex was found in 3 cases, penetration into epiphysis by nails was found in 1 case. After operations, irritated skin and exposed nail was found in 3 cases, prolonged bone healing in 2 cases, limitation of range of motion in the knee in 1 case, bent nail in 1 case, difficulty in retracting the nail in 10 cases, shortening in 2 cases, second fracture of the healed long bone in 1 case. The results were excellent in 173 cases, good in 6 and fair in 3,and the rate of excellent and good was 98 %.Conclusions Though it has certain complications, the technique of TEN in the treatment of children's long bone fractures has more advantages over other internal fixations.Carefully performing the procedure according to the principal of TEN can decease and prevent most of these complications.
6.ISOLATON AND DETERMINATION OF VITAMIN B_(12) IN FERMENTED SOYBEAN FOODS
Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(04):-
Foods derived from plants are thought to be devoid of vitamin B12. We have found that some fermented foods contained microbiologically active vitamin B12 components. In order to ascertain the amount of physiological active vitamin B12, we have established a bioautographic area quantitative method of determination of vitamin B12. The procedure is described briefly as follows:The extract of fermented soybean food sample is spotted on a filter paper strip. The Paper is developed with a mixture of secbutanol-water-ammonia water- 5 % potassium cyanide (100: 50: 1: 0.5) using descending technique. After developing for 24-72 hours, the strip is taken out and dried in air. It is then put on the surface of nutrient agar containing E. coli 44110 and 2,3,5,-triphenyl tetrazolium chloride. After incubation, the area of spot of growth is measured and the amount of vitamin B12 in the sample is calculated. Two types of fermented soybean food samples were assayed by the above procedure, mean values of vitamin B12 content are: fermented soybean curd with strong smell contains 0.97 ?g/100g sample, fermented soybean curd contains 0.41 ?g/100g sample. Compared with animal foods, both types of fermented soybean foods may be considered as good source of vitamin B12.
7.Dietary patterns and development of colorectal cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2010;37(10):777-779
The incident of colorectal cancer are closely related to factors such as genetics, life styles, dietary patterns, external environment, enteral environment, and exercise. Epidemiological studies of geographic regions with different eating habits have shown that the incidence of CRC varies as diets change. Further studies are needed to investigate the underlying mechanisms
8.Clinical observation on the treatment of 51 cases of diabetic peripheral neuropathy with Shuxuetong Injection combined herbal oral administration
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2010;32(5):422-423
Objective To observe clinical effect of treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy with Shuxuetong injection combined herbal oral administration. Methods A total of 51 patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy were randomly recruited into a control group and a treatment group. The control group was treated with western medicine, and the treatment group was treated with Shuxuetong injection combined with Buyang Huanwu decoction. The clinical effect was observed in both groups after the treatment. Results The total effective rate was 88.5% and 68.0% in the treatment group and the control group respectively. The clinical effect in the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The effects of Shuxuetong injection combined herbal oral administration on diabetic peripheral neuropathy was better than western medicine.
9.Related analysis between atrial enlargement and atrial tachyarrhythmia
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2008;15(2):209-210
Objective To investigate relation between atrial enlargement and pathogenesis of atrial tach yarrhythmia. Methods 786 patients were observed with atrial tachyarrhythmia through 24-hour electrocardiographic monitoring, echocardiographic was used to analysis atrial enlargement. Results The patient with left atrial enlargement in atrial tachyarrhythmia was more than those with right atrial enlargement(73.82%vs 21.25%,P<0,01).Conclusions Atrial enlargement, especially left atrial enlargement, was the one of most important pathogeny in atrial tachyarrhythmia. The enhancement of pressure and muscle tension in atrial were the major factors of electronicphysiobgy disorganization, and the left atrial was the leading position in patients with electronicphysiology abnormity.
10.Short Term Results of Laparoscopic or Laparotomy Radical Hysterectomy and Pelvic Lymphadenectomy for Early Uterine Malignancy
Journal of Practical Obstetrics and Gynecology 2010;26(1):48-51
Objective:The short term results of laparoscopic radical hysterectomy and pelvic lymph nodes dissection for early uterine malignancy were investigated.Methods:70 patients with eady malignant uterine tumor who underwent a laparoscopic radical hysterectomy and pelvic lymph nodes dissection(TLRH+LPL)were retrospectively reviewed. At the samt time,48 patients were recruited to be the control group who had laparotomy radical hysterectomy and pelvic lymph nodes dissection(ARH+APL).Intraoperative and postoperative situations and complications between these two groups were analyzed.Results:70 patients underwent laparoscopic operation, but two cases changed to laparotomy(transfer rate 2.9%).The mean operation time, blood loss, number of dissected pelvic lymph nodes and postoperative temperature recovery time of TLRH+LPL group was significantly different from ARH+APL group(P<0.01),while there were no difference between these two groups on bladder function recovery time and occurance of postoperative complications. Conclusions:TLRH+LPL has the same feasibility and safety with ARH+APL,less invasive to the tissue, thus offers a good option of microinvasive therapy for female malignant tumor.
