Objective:To evaluate the teaching effect of multi-disciplinary integrated training program on the open comprehensive training room to improve the post competency of medical imaging students.Methods:A total of 122 residential students of five-year medical imaging from Batch 2014 of The First Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu Medical College were divided into experimental group and control group. The experimental group carried out the multi-disciplinary open comprehensive training program, and the control group carried out open-ended exercises. The comprehensive discipline theory examination, assessment of clinical thinking and comprehensive skill appraisal, and satisfaction questionnaire results were compared between the two groups. SPSS 23.0 was used for t test. Results:①Comprehensive discipline theory examination scores were higher in experimental group than the control group [(80.33±3.70) vs. (74.56±5.09)], with statistical differences ( P<0.05). ②Experimental group scored higher in clinical thinking and comprehensive skills than the control group did, and the difference was statistically significant [(87.58±3.15) vs. (74.52±3.66), P<0.05]. ③The questionnaire investigation showed that the experimental group students did better in improving autonomous learning ability, expression ability, the team cooperation ability, the ability to find and fix problems and the degree of self-esteem than control group, with statistically significant differences ( P<0.05). Conclusion:The multi-disciplinary open comprehensive training program has a good effect on optimizing the open-ended exercises. Students' knowledge of multi-disciplinary comprehensive theoretical knowledge and imaging skills have been improved, and the ability of teamwork, problem-solving ability, self-learning ability and innovation ability required by the core competence of the profession have been developed and improved, which meets the modern medical treatment of education "to create an educational platform of medical education collaboration and multi-disciplinary integration, and to cultivate students' innovative and autonomous learning."

Objective: To analyle prevalence and trend of substance abuse behaviors among adolescents in Guangdong province and to provide theoretical evidence for effective interventions. Methods: Data regarding smoking, drinking, drugs abuse from Adolescents Health Risk Behavior Survey in 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2016 were collected and comparatively analyzed. Results: The incidences of tried smoking(27.37%), current smoking(8.32%), passive smoking(45.52%), current drinking(27.97%) and drug using(0.75%) in 2016 were lower than that in 2007(32.40%, 10.81%, 52.69%, 31.97%, 1.35%), and the average annual decrease rate were 1.89%, 2.95%, 1.64%, 1.50%, 6.75%, respectively(χ2=152.73, 92.50, 313.92, 46.48, 46.64, P<0.01). During the past decate, the incidences of current smoking in rural adolescents(12.02%, 10.64%, 9.99%, 10.10%) were significantly higher than that in urban adolescents(8.88%, 8.52%, 8.17%, 6.56%)(χ2=54.46, 26.62, 25.23, 100.43, P<0.01); the incidences of current drinking in urban adolescents(33.57%, 30.37%, 35.76%, 30.46%) were significantly higher than that in rural adolescents(30.97%, 28.48%, 28.47%, 25.32%)(χ2=16.71, 10.13, 153.47, 81.76, P<0.01); the incidence of current drinking was the highest among college students in each monitoring year(47.71%, 41.76%, 42.36%, 37.77%)(χ2=583.37, 681.25, 610.04, 729.02, P<0.01); the incidence of current smoking was the highest among vocational school students in each monitoring year(16.36%, 17.00%, 14.90%, 16.71%)(χ2=256.45, 515.61, 339.63, 742.52, P<0.01); In addition to the incidence of drug abuse was the highest among college students in 2010(2.02%), vocational school students were the highest in other years(χ2=66.92, 34.38, 23.08, 20.55, P<0.01). Conclusion Smoking and drug abuse among adolescents in Guangdong showed a declining trend by years, as well as the prevalence of drinking behavior. Strengthened intervention should be targeted on smoking behavior among rural students, drinking behavior among urban students, and smoking behavior and drug abuse among vocational school students.

Objective To explore the risk factors and prognoses of new-onset atrial fibrillation (NOAF) in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI).Methods A total of 468 patients with AMI were admitted into Beijing Anzhen Hospital for emergency pereutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).According to the NOAF occurred during hospitalization,the patients were divided into two groups:the NOAF (n=37) group and the non-NOAF (n=431) group.Parameters including general clinical conditions,coronary lesions,echocardiography,biochemical markers,C-reactive protein (CRP),N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-pro-BNP),and myocardial markers were collected.In-hospital mortality and incidence of in-hospital main adverse cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events (MACCE) were compared between the two groups.Logistic multivariate regression analyses were performed for the association between the risk factors and NOAF.Results The incidence of NOAF was 7.9％ in AMI patients undergoing emergency PCI.There were no significant differences in door-to-balloon time,weight,platelet counts,baseline serum creatinine (SCr),postoperative SCr,triglyceride,total cholesterol,low density lipoprotein cholesterol,high density lipoprotein cholesterol,uric acid,glycosylated hemoglobin A1c,preoperative medication,number of lesions,thrombus aspiration,location of myocardial infarction,and history of hypertension,diabetes,peripheral vascular disease and old myocardial infarction between the two groups.The percentage of women was in the NOAF group (32.4％ vs.16.7％,P＜0.05) and subjects in this group were significantly elder than those in the non-NOAF groups [(66±10) years vs.(571±11) years,P＜0.001].Moreover,the levels of no-reflow rate (40.5％ vs.12.6％,P＜0.001),CRP [25.2 (15.43,29.97)mg/L vs.5.21 (2.33,16.98) mg/L,P＜0.001],white blood cell counts [(11.19±3.44)× 109 vs.(9.91 ±3.23)× 109,p=0.022],NT-pro-BNP [(652.6± 108.8) ng/L vs.(258.3±105.9) ng/L,P＜0.001],and troponin I (TnI) [20.41(1.78,87.89) μg/L vs.7.72(1.29,36.39) μg/L,P=0.006] were significantly higher in the NOAF group than in the non-NOAF group,while left ventricular ejection fraction [(47.70± 7.34)％ vs.(53.35 ± 8.05)％,P＜0.001],and hemoglobin [137.0(125.5,146.0) g/L vs.144.0(133.0,156.0) g/L,P=0.042] were significantly lower in the NOAF group than the non-NOAF group.Patients in the NOAF group had significantly longer hospital stay than those in the non-NOAF group [(8.7± 5.6) d vs.(6.0± 2.3) d,P=0.007].The in-hospital mortality (8.1％ vs 1.4％ P=0.004) and the incidence of in-hospital MACCE (37.8％ vs.7.7％,P＜0.001) in the NOAF group were significantly higher than those in the non-NOAF group.Logistic multivariate regression analyses showed that age (HR 1.083,95％CI 1.028-1.141,P=0.003),CRP (HR 1.116,95％CI 1.049-1.187,P=0.001),NT-pro-BNP (HR 1.463,95％CI 1.001-4.064,P=0.001) and no-reflow (HR 4.388,95％CI 1.006-19.144,P=0.049) were independent predictors of NOAF after AMI.Conclusions Age,elevated levels of CRP,NT-pro-BNP,and the absence of no-reflow are risk factors for incident NOAF in patients with AMI in hospital.

Objective To explore the effect and mechanism of sulfotanshinone sodium in lung fibrosis in ALI rats by intraperitoneal injection. Method The rats were divided into normal group,model group and sulfotan-shinone sodium group randomly.During the experiment,acute lung injury was induced by oleic acid in rats.Sulfo-tanshinone sodium group was treated by intraperitoneal injection of sulfotanshinone sodium for 14 days consecutively. The 12 rats were sacrificed at 7thand 14thday after last administration.The indexes of weight,arterial partial pres-sure of oxygen(PaO2),oxygenation index(PaO2/FiO2),lung index and wet/dry ratio,IL-1,TNF-α,PCⅢ,TGF-β1 and the lung histopathology of rats were observed. Results There was no difference in rat weight between the groups.The values of PaO2and PaO2/FiO2were increased.The lung index and wet/dry ratio,IL-1,TNF-α,PCⅢ, TGF-β1 and IQA were all reduced. The lung histopathology damage was significantly lightened.as compared with the model group. Conclusion It has treatment effect of sulfotanshinone sodium in lung fibrosis in the ALI rats, which may be related with the adjustment on inflammatory factor.

Objective To study the value of HEART scores in predicting the risk of getting acute coronary syndrome in patients with chest pain and assessing the prognosis in order to elucidate the validity of the HEART scores.Methods A total of 1 200 patients with chest pain were continuously observed and followed up,and their HEART scores were calculated.The survival rates were calculated with Kaplan-Meier method and AUROC (area under ROC curve) was used to determine the accuracy of this methods.The HEART scores were compared with TIMI and GRACE scores.Results Low HEART scores (0-3) were found in 34.5％ of the patients and MACE (major adverse cardiac event) occurred in 1.4％ of them.The patients with intermediate HEART scores (4-6) accounted for 50.7％ patients,and MACE was diagnosed in 22.2％ of them.High HEART scores (7-10) were found in 14.85％ patients,and MACE occurred in 60.7％ of them.There was significant difference among these three groups (Log rank P ＜ 0.01).The AUROC of HEART score was 0.83 (95％ CI:0.80-0.85,P ＜0.01),being significantly higher than the GRACE scores (0.76) and TIMI scores (0.72).Conclusions The HEART score is applicable for predicting the risk of getting acute coronary syndrome of chest pain patients in emergency department and the prognosis.

Objective To investigate the relationship among Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori),CD4 positive cells and CD8 positive cells in gastric mucosa of the AIDS patients with gastritis.Methods Fiftyeight AIDS patients with upper abdominal pain were diagnosed with chronic gastritis through gastroscopy.The gastric biopsies from them were used for H.pylori detection with rapid urease test and Giemsa staining,pathology examination with HE staining,and immunohistochemistry analysis for CD4,CD8 positive cells in Gastric mucosa.And the application of flow cytometry was for the detection of peripheral blood CD4 and CD8 lymphocytes from the patients.Results H.pylori was positive in 26 cases,and negative was in 32 cases.CD8 cell expression in gastric mucosa of the AIDS patients with H.pylori positive was significantly higher than H.pylori negative patients(P＜0.05).There is no difference CD4 cell expression in gastric mucosa between the AIDS patients with H.pylori positive and H.pylori negative patients.Moreover,CD8 positive lymphocytes in gastric mucosa of those patients with H.pyloriinfection were significantly stronger than the CD4 positive lymphocytes.However,the peripheral blood CD4 lymphocytes from the patients with H.pylori infection were more than those from H.pylorinegative patients significantly(P＜0.05).Conclusion The expression level of CD8 cells in gastric mucosal tissues of AIDS patients with H.pylori infection were higher than those without H.pylori infection.The CD4 lymphocytes from the peripheral blood of the patients with H.pylori infection were more than those without H.pylori negative patients.

Objective To investigate the curative effect of western combined with traditional Chinese medicine in treatment of acute lumbar disc herniation.Methods 200 patients with lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into western combined with traditional Chinese therapy group(group A) and western medicine group(group B) ,each group 100 cases.B group was conducted with the general anti - inflammatory, dehydration, nerve pain and nutritional therapy,and A group was given the traditional Chinese medicine treatment on the base of B group.After 3 weeks treatment, the curative effect, VAS score and hospital stay were observed.Results A total effective rate 90.0% in group A was higher than B group 73.0% ( x2 = 3.987 ,P < 0.05); The scores of VAS after treatment 4 weeks[(1.1 ±1.23、0.9 ±0.6)/point]were lower than before treatment[(8.6 ± 1.43,8.8 ± 1.382)/point]in two groups(t =2.301,2.335,all P<0.05) ;The scores of VAS after treatment 3d and 1 week in group A[(5.5 ±0.92) point,(2.7±1.14) point] were lower than group B[(8.2 ±0.59) point,(5.3 ±0.91) point] (t =2.405,2.435,all P<0.05);The hospital days(20.1 ±3.5)d in group A was significantly lower than group B(27.6 ±4.3)d( t = 2.314,P <0.05).Conclusion Western combined with traditional Chinese medicine had better clinical efficacy in teatrent of patients with acute lumbar disc hemiation.

Clopidogrel was believed to be superior to aspirin by the well-known CAPRIE trial. However, no other large clinical trials demonstrated the same results, but all focused on the combination use of clopidogrel with aspirin, and combination therapy in CREDO was called the "Emperor's New Clothes". However, no one overturned the results of these clinical trials by quantitatively analyzing them. We reviewed ten large-scale clinical trials about clopidogrel. On the basis of results of CAPRIE, CREDO and CHARISMA trials, we re-estimated their minimal sample sizes and their powers by three well-established statistical methodologies. From the results of CAPRIE, we inferred that the minimal sample size should be 85 086 or 84 968 but its power was only 30.70%. A huge gap existed. The same was also true of CREDO and CHARISMA trials. Moreover, in CAPRIE trial, 0 was included in the 95% confidence interval and 1 was included in the 95% confidence interval for the relative risk. There were some paradoxical data in CAPRIE trial. We are led to conclude that the results in CAPRIE, CREDO, and from the subgroup analysis in CHARISMA trials were questionable. These results failed to demonstrate that clopidogrel was superior to aspirin or that clopidogrel used in combination with aspirin was better than aspirin alone. The cost-effectiveness analyses by some previous studies were not reliable.

BACKGROUND: Experimental evidence suggests that growth factors can promote myocardial angiogenesis, but the effect and mechanism of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) in controlled release delivered via fibrin glue has not been fully recognized.OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effect of controlled-release bFGF delivered via fibrin glue in the myocardium on the expressions of vascular growth factors and cell proliferation in the local acute myocardial infarct area in canines, and assess the therapeutic effect of this strategy.DESIGN: Completely randomized controlled experiment.SETTING: Department of Cardiology, Beijing Anzhen Hospital, Capital University of Medical Sciences; Department of Cardiology, Union Hospital of Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology; Shanghai Xinxing Blood Product Research Institute.MATERIALS: This experiment was carried out in the Laboratory of Animal Surgery, Union Hospital of Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and the Experimental Animal Center of Chinese PLA General Hospital between June 2001 And March 2003.Twelve clean healthy adult mongrel dogs of either sex were selected and randomized into transmyocardial laser revascularization group and bFGF group with 6 in each group.METHODS: With appropriate anesthesia, the chest of the dog was opened and the left anterior descending (LAD) branch of the coronary artery was ligated to establish acute myocardial infarction (AMI) model.The dogs were then randomized into transmyocardial laser revascularization group to receive transmural myocardial penetration 30 minutes after AMI and bFGF group with non-transmural myocardial penetration 30 minutes after AMI and subsequent injection of bFGF-containing fibrin glue into the channel. The expressions of vascular epithelial growth factor (VEGF), transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGFβ1) and proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) in the loacl ischemic myocardium were examined immunohistochemically (IHC) at postoperative 18 weeks.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Quantitative IHC analysis of VEGF,TGFβ1 and the PCNA expressions in the local ischemic myocardia in transmyocardial laser revascularization group and bFGF group.RESULTS: Five dogs in the transmyocardial laser revascularization group and 6 in the bFGF group survived the operations. Quantitative IHC analysis revealed obviously larger positive area stained for myocardial VEGF,TGFβ1 and PCNA in bFGF group than in transmyocardial laser revascularization group (t=-7.505, -2.690 and -6.895, P ＜ 0.05), and the average absorbance of PCNA staining in bFGF group was greater than that in the transmyocardial laser revascularization group (t= -5.271, P ＜ 0.05).CONCLUSION: Controlled-releasing bFGF delivered in the myocardium can increase local expressions of the vascular growth factors in the ischemic myocardium and enhance cell proliferation, promoting revascularization after AMI.
