Objective To observe the dynamic expressions of kielin/chordin-like protein (kcp) in mouse model of hepatic fibrosis and the effects of bone morphogenetic protein-7 (BMP-7)intervention on the expressions, and to explore a new target for treatment of fibrosis. Methods A total of 50 healthy male ICR mice were divided into three groups:control group(n=10) ; model group (n=30) and BMP-7 treatment group (n=10).The model group was further divided into three subgroups according to different time points:subgroups of 4,8 and 12 weeks with 10 mice in each subgroup. The mouse model of hepatic fibrosis was established by hypodermic injection of carbon tetrachloride(CCl4 ).The mice in BMP-7 treatment group began to receive human recombmant BMP- 7via intraperitoneal injection after 8 weeks of the first administration of CC14 and lasted for 4 weeks. The serum levels of alanine aminotransferase (ALT),aspartate transaminase (AST) and albumin (Alb) were detected. The pathological changes of liver were observed under optical microscope after HE and Masson staining. The dynamic expressions of kcp mRNA and protein of each group were detected by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction, immunohistochemistry and Western blot. The comparison of means among groups was done by univariate ANOVA.Results In model group,ALT and AST levels increased, while Alb level gradually decreased, and peaked at week 12.BMP-7treatment could reduce the changes, and there were significant differences among groups (F=23.501,34.600 and 16.244,respectively; all P<0.05).In normal control group, the expressions of kcp mRNA and protein were low, while those in model group were gradually increased.BMP-7 treatment could achieve remission and the changes were all significantly different among groups (F=30.362 and 10.727,respectively; P<0.01 or 0.05).The expression of kcp mRNA was positively correlated with levels of transforming growth factor (TGF)-β1 mRNA and BMP-7 mRNA (r=0.760 and 0.769,respectively; both P<0.05).Conclusions BMP 7 can improve the hepatic fibrosis in mice.kcp may play an important role in the occurrence and development of liver fibrosis which is a potential therapeutic target for hepatic fibrosis.

Objective To observe the effects of modified Jianpi Yishen Decoction on urinary osteopontin (OPN) in calcium oxalate nephrolithiasis patients after percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) or ureteroscope lithotomy (URL);To clarify the mechanism of modified Jianpi Yishen Decoction on the prevention of calcium oxalate kidney stones. Methods Totally 116 calcium oxalate nephrolithiasis patients were randomly divided into trial group (62 cases) and control group (54 cases). The trial group took modified Jianpi Yishen Decoction every other day, while the control group took potassium sodium hydrogen citrate granules three times a day. The concentrations of OPN, urinary calcium and urinary oxalic acid of the patients in the two groups were observed before treatment and 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment. Results The concentration of urinary OPN of 2 weeks and 4 weeks of the treatment in the trial group was significantly increased compared with before treatment (P<0.05), and the difference was statistically significant compared with the control group (P<0.05). The concentration of urinary OPN in the control group had no significant change after treatment (P>0.05). The differences in the concentrations of urinary calcium and urinary oxalic acid of the two groups between before and after treatment were not significant (P>0.05). Conclusion Modified Jianpi Yishen Decoction can effectively restrain the formation of the calcium oxalate stones by increasing the level of urinary OPN, which demonstrates effective prevention in the calcium oxalate nephrolithiasis patients after PCNL or URL.

Journal of Clinical Hepatology 2015;31(9):1513-1519
Current antiviral treatment strategy for chronic hepatitis B (CHB) includes pegylated interferon (PEG-IFN) and nucleos(t)ide analogues (NAs). Whether combination therapy with PEG-IFN and NAs improve therapeutic efficacy has become the key question regarding the antiviral therapy for CHB. This article reviews the recent progress in combination therapy for the management of CHB. The results indicate that the efficacy of simultaneous combination of PEG-IFN and NAs is not superior to that of PEG-IFN monotherapy in terms of HBeAg seroconversion and response after drug withdrawal. Sequential combination or switching therapy in PEG-IFN- or NAs-treated patients, as well as combination with immune cell therapy, is a promising treatment strategy.

Chinese Journal of Trauma 2023;39(5):459-464
Radiocarpal fracture-dislocation (RFD) is a rare injury normally associated with the destruction of bones, joints and ligaments. The improper diagnosis and treatment of RFD will cause severe complications and affect the long-term function of wrist joints. The difficulties of clinical diagnosis and treatment lie in the accurate diagnosis, identification and reconstruction of the structure of specific injury. As the foreign and domestic literatures are mainly case analyses or systemic case reports rather than large-scale reports, there still lacks a systemic knowledge of the standard diagnosis and treatment of RFD clinically, thus leading to problems such as missed diagnosed or misdiagnosed, improper application of treatment methods and incomplete reconstruction. Therefore, the authors reviewed relevant literatures about the features, diagnosis and treatment of RFD, in order to provide references for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of RFD.

Objective:
To discuss the effect of high-density fat-binding SVF-GEL in female facial lipofilling.
Methods:
This is a retrospective study including 32 female patients, received facial fat transplantation during June 2017 to June 2018 in Yichun College. Each patient underwent high-density fat-binding SVF-GEL transplantation for facial surgery. Patients′satisfaction with the surgery and the rate of secondary surgery was evaluated. Fat was harvested from the inner thigh, centrifuged at 1200 g for 3 min, and the liquid was removed. The upper 2/3 part is prepared for SVF-GEL, for further used in delicate lipofilling in eyelid, tear groove and nasolabial groove. The lower 1/3 high density fat was used for volume restoration, such as forehead, temporal area and cheek.
Results:
All patients had significant improvements in facial contours with mild swelling and short recovery time. The satisfaction rate was 68.8%(22/32), and the second operation rate was 15.6%(5/32).
Conclusions
High-density fat-binding SVF-GEL transplantation can achieve good results in correcting facial volume loss.

Objective:
To explore the clinical significance of metastasis of lymph nodes between sternocleidomastoid and sternohyoid muscle (LNSS) in papillary thyroid cancer (PTC).
Methods:
A total of 175 patients with PTC who underwent thyroidectomy with LNSS dissection were retrospectively analyzed. Univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analyses were used to determine the independent risk factors for LNSS metastasis in PTC.
Results:
The rate of detectable LNSS was 70.9% (124/175) and metastasis rate was 7.4% (13/175). Of 13 cases with LNSS metastasis, 10 with the coexistence of cervical lymph node metastasis. Univariate Logistic regression analysis showed that multiple focal cancer, tumor located in the lower pole of thyroid, belt-shaped muscle invasion, lateral cervical lymph node metastasis, cN+ , the number of cervical lymph nodes with metastasis and the number of lymph nodes with metastasis in level Ⅳwere the risk factors for LNSS metastasis (
