Objective To observe the effects of midazolam and fentanyl on hypertension in senile hypertensive patients.Method 38 cases with moderate primary hypertension were received midazolam and fentanyl during operation .BP,HR,P ET CO 2 and the change of ST segment from the 12-lead simultaneous ECGs were measured and compared respectively. Results Some parameters ,such as BP,HR,RPP have a parallel change during experimental period . There were significant differences in BP,HR,RPP at 5 min before administration then at the time in ward(P0 05). Nearly to reach 120 min after administration, the parameters tend to become uplifted as compared with in 30 and 60 min after administration(P

Objective To observe the preventive and therapeutic effects of Sagittara Sagittifolia L. Xiao-Zhi Pills on nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) in rats. Methods Rat NASH models were established and the rats were divided randomly into five groups: the normal group, model group, high-dosage group and low-dosage groups of the treatment, and Dongbao Gantai positive drug group. Histopathological changes of the liver were observed. The levels of MDA, superoxide dismutase (SOD), and NO (nitric oxide) in the liver homogenate were determined. Expressions of cyclooxygenase-2 (cox-2) and inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) in the liver were determined with immunohistochemical technique. Results In model group, extensive adipose degeneration and inflammatory cell infiltration were found in the liver. Compared with those in normal group, SOD activities in model group were obviously decreased (P<0.01), the contents of MDA and NO were obviously increased (P<0.01), and the expressions of cox-2 and iNOS proteins were obviously increased (P<0.01). Compared with those in model group, the activities of SOD in treatment groups were obviously increased (P<0.01), the contents of MDA and NO were obviously decreased (P<0.01), and the expressions of COX-2 and iNOS proteins were obviously decreased (P<0.01). The effect of high-dosage group was more obvious than that of Dongbao Gantai group (P<0.05). Conclusion Sagittara Sagittifolia L. Xiao-Zhi Pills can effectively prevent and treat nonalcoholic steatohepatitis in rats, and its mechanism may be associated with ameliorating hepatocellular steatosis, removing the free radicals and enhancing the anti-oxidation and anti-inflammation capability.

Objective: To summarize the recent research progress in the influence of quercetin on drug metabolizing enzymes. Methods:By referring to the relevant literatures at home and abroad in recent years, the paper summarized, analyzed and concluded the the influence of quercetin on drug metabolizing enzymes. Results: Quercetin could modulate the phase Ⅰmetabolic enzyme cyto-chrome P450 ( CYP) and the phase Ⅱ metabolic enzymes uridine diphosphate - glucuronosyltransferase enzyme ( UGTs) , sulfotrans-ferase ( SULTs) and glutathione S-transferase ( GSTs) to influence the in vitro and in vivo metabolism of a lot of drugs. Meanwhile, the modulation of quercetin on the metabolic enzymes demanded the participation of various nuclear receptors. Conclusion:Quercetin shows the inhibitory or inducing effect on a variety of drug-metabolizing enzymes, therefore, it can interact with other drugs.

Objective To establish a HPLC method for the determination of the content of emodin and chrysophanol in Cigu Xiaozhi pill. Methods The chromatographic procedure was carried out in Symmetry C18(4.6 mm?150 mm,5.0 ?m) column with methanol-0.1% phosphoric acid(85∶15) as the mobile phase, flow rate was 0.8 mL/min,column temperature was 20 ?C,and the detection wavelength was 423 nm.Results Emodin and chrysophanol were well separated with other components. The standard curves of emodin and chrysophanol showed linearity in the range of 0.25~0.75 ?g.The average recoveries were 101.35%(RSD=2.26%) and 98.66%(RSD=1.74%) respectively. Conclusion The method is sensitive, simple and accurate, and can be used for the determination of emodin and chrysophanol in Cigu Xiaozhi pill.

Objective To construct secretary recombinant adenoviral vector carrying the mouse prostate-specific membrane antigen gene through AdEasy vector system and the immunological outcome was assessed. Methods mPSMA was amplified from plasmid pCR-BluntII-TOPO by PCR and subcloned into transfer vector pAdenoVator CMV5,The signal peptide DNA sequence of hIL-2 was fused to 5′terminal of mPSMA gene to construct a secretary Ad-mPSMA.pAdv-mPSMA was co-transformed with pAdenoVator ?E1/E3 through homologous recombination. The recombinant adenoviruses were packaged, amplified and purified in HEK293 cells.HeLa cell was infected by recombinant adenovirus Ad-mPSMA and the expression of mouse prostate-specific membrane antigen gene was detected by RT-PCR and Western blot. The recombinant adenovirus had been immuned mice, sera antibody against mPSMA from immunized mice was detected by ELISA.Results The secretary pAd-mPSMA was constructed successfully and typical cytopathic effect(CPE) was observed. The titer of the recombinant adenovirus was 1.32?1011IU/mL and expression of mPSMA was confirmed by RT-PCR and Western blot. The specific antibody against mPSMA had been foundin serum of the immunized mice. Conclusion mPSMA gene recombinant adenovirus was constructed successfully, which provide a basis for further study on the anti-tumor immunotherapy role of PSMA.

Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 1995;0(12):-
Objective:Coherence analysis of the EEG is used to study the synchrony or coupling between cortical areas underlying the electrodes. However, the effects of intravenous anesthetics on EEG coherence have not been defined. Method: Forty patients were administered with intravenous thiopental (5mg/kg),propofol (2.5mg/kg ), ketamine(4mg/kg)or fentanyl(10?g/kg). The changes of coherences in total and in a given frequency band of the EEG(?.?.?.?) were measured with an AXON Systems Sentinel-4 Neurological monitor between two pair electrodes(Cz-F_7 vs Cz-F_8 and Cz-A_1 vs Cz-F_2). Result: The anesthetics had significantly different effects on the coherence by either increase or decrease. The variability of the coherences had no regular pattern, and no relationship to excitement or depression of the anesthetics and to potency of them. Conclusion:Each anesthetic above selectively depresses and excites generators of the EEG in quite different ways.

Chinese Journal of Nephrology 1997;0(03):-
ObjectⅣe To investigate the nephroprotectⅣe effect of mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) on 5/6 nephrectomized rats and explore its mechanism. Methods The 5/6 nephrectomized SD rats were used. After the operation, 15 mg/kg MMF, 25 mg/kg fosinopril (F) and 15 mg/kg MMF+25 mg/kg fosinopril were respectⅣely delⅣered daily by gavage for 8 weeks. Urinary protein, BUN, serum creatinine were measured at the end of the study. Renal pathological changes were evaluated and immunohistochemistry was used to examine the expression of fibronectin (FN), collagen Ⅳ, macrophage chemoattractant protein 1 (MCP-1) and proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA) . RT-PCR was used to examine the TGF-?1 mRNA and TIMP-1 mRNA in the cortex of the kidney. Results Compared with the untreated 5 /6 nephrectomized group (NX group), urinary albumin excretion of MMF, MMF + F or F treated rats were substantially decreased [MMF: (116. 1?12. 5) mg/24 h, F: (95. 3?13. 8) mg/24 h, MMF + F: (73. 2?16. 3) mg/24 h vs. NX: (205. 6?16. 8) mg/24 h.
