Chinese Journal of Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetology 2021;27(1):11-13
Objective:To compare the clinical effects between axillary approach, periareolar approach and inframammary fold approach in breast augmentation. Methods:Two hundred and eleven patients in our department from Jan. 2016 to Jan. 2018 were involved in this study. According to the surgical approach, the patients were divided into the axillary approach group, periareolar approach group and inframammary fold approach group. Postoperative pain, incision scar, drainage fluid and several complications were observed in three groups. Results:Postoperative VAS score of patients in inframammary fold approach and periareolar approach group was lower than that in the axillary approach group ( F=70.93, P<0.05), and postoperative drainage fluid was lower than in the axillary approach group. No diffrences were found in postoperative scar score among the three group ( P>0.05), and the nipple areola sensory disorder in the inframammary fold approach group was less. Conclusions:Breast augmentation of inframammary fold approach has the advantages of relatively hidden incision, short surgical approach, direct vision operation, mild pain, less surgical injury and low postoperative complications. It is worthy of being promoted.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effects of HO-1 on mast cells degranulation during liver ischemia/reperfusion injury.MethodsSD rats ( n =20) were randomly divided into 4 groups : ( 1 ) sham operation group, (2) ischemia/reperfusion injury group (I/RI group), (3) CoPP group, CoPP was given before 24 h(5 mg/kg), (4) ZnPP group, ZnPP was given before 24 h (20 mg/kg). The rat model of liver ischemia/reperfusion was built. Samples were collected after 2 hours reperfusion. HO-1 mRNA expression was assessed by RT-PCR. The expression of HO-1 protein was assessed by Western blot. Serum ALT, AST levels were determined. The amount of degranulated mast cells were detected by toluidine blue staining. Liver injuries were evaluated by HE staining.ResultsCompared to sham group, liver HO-1mRNA and protein expression, ALT, AST levels, the number of degranulated mast cells significantly increased in I/RI group, CoPP group and ZnPP group. Moreover, liver injuries were more serious. Compared to I/RI group, there were increased HO-1mRNA and protein expression, reduced ALT, AST levels and the number of degranulated mast cells, also reduced liver injuries were found in CoPP group. Compared to I/RI group, the expression of HO-ImRNA and protein was down-regulated, ALT, AST levels elevated and the number of degranulatedmastcellsincreasedaccompanyingmoreseriousliverinjuriesinZnPPgroup.ConclusionsHO-1 overexpression reduces liver ischemia/reperfusion injury, possibly by inhibiting mast cells degranulation in liver tissues.

Studies have shown that co-infection of influenza viruses with bacteria is an important cause of high mortality during the epidemic of influenza. There are at least 12 species of bacteria that have been reported to be able to co-infect with influenza.Among those species,co-infection with Staphylococcus aureus is not only the most common but also the most lethal. However, the pathogenesis of high mortality from co-infection with influenza virus/S.aureus remains elusive. In addition,co-infection of influenza virus/S.aureus can induce severe pneumonia. There is new evidence that influenza virus can reduce the host′s tolerance to pathogenic or inflammatory injury, and the two pathogens can also synergistically aggravate toxic effects on the host. Here,we review the mechanisms of severe mortality of influenza infection associated with S.aureus co-infections in order to contribute to prevention and control of influenza in the future.

Objective To explore the value of small surface coil combined with three-dimensional double-echo steady-state with water excitation (3D-DESS-WE) sequence in displaying mandibular nerves and their branches. Methods The maxillofacial regions of 52 volunteers were scanned unilaterally by a small surface coil combined with 3D-DESS-WE sequence. According to the Gray's anatomy atlas,MPR and CPR was done according to the anatomic position of mandibular nerve and the branches, the signal characteristics of the nerves and neighboring structures were analyzed. The displaying rate of the mandibular nerves and their branches were evaluated. The image quality and display of the nerve were subjectively scored. The signal intensity(SI) of the nerve and adjacent lateral pterygoid muscle were measured. The signal intensity ratio(SIR) of mandibular nerve/lateral pterygoid muscle (SIRN/M) was calculated. Results Compared with the muscles, the nerve showed iso-signal intensity. The subjective scores for all small coil 3D-DESS-WE images were 3.02 ± 0.82. The displaying rates of V3 trunk, anterior trunk, buccal nerve, posterior trunk, inferior alveolar nerve and lingual nerve were all 100%. V3 posterior trunk, inferior alveolar nerve and lingual nerve showed the best quality scores, which were all about 3 points, and the SIRN/M were about 1. The auricular temporal nerve and masseter muscle nerve were also basically satisfied. The displaying rate of mylohyoid muscle nerve, medial pterygoid nerve and lateral pterygoid nerve was low. Conclusion Small surface coil combine with 3D-DESS-WE sequence performed high-quality in mandibular nerves and their branches MR imaging using MPR,CPR post-processing technology, which are suitable for clinical application.
