Chinese Journal of Current Advances in General Surgery 1999;0(04):-
Objective:To evaluate the effect of Indomethacin suppositories on albumin concentration and insulin resistance of post-operation patients with serious intra-abdominal infection.Methods:38 post-operation patients with serious intra-abdominal infection were divided into two groups randomly. One as treatment group(n=19)and the other as control group(n=19).Albumin,blood glucose, fasting insulin concentration were measured At 72 hours after the operation and 144 hours.Insulin resistance index was calculated using the homeostasis model assessment(HOMA).Finally, the results of two groups were analyzed. Results:The albumin concentration of Indomethacin group at 72 hours was significantly higher than that after 72 hours,Insulin resistance of 144 hours was lower than the control group(P0.05).Conclusion:Postoperative abdominal infection using indomethacin suppository can significantly reduce insulin resistance, and significantly reduced the decomposition of albumin.

China Pharmacy 2001;0(12):-
OBJECTIVE:To screen the effective antioxidant in tretinion ointment METHODS:The six tretinion ointments were prepared with different antioxidants and the same base Based on the accelerated test design, the tretinion concentration was determined by HPLC RESULTS:The ointment with the antioxidant D exhibited the least oxidation rate CONCLUSION:Data from accelerated test demonstrated that the compound antioxidant D was the best one in this formula

Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 1998;(4):237-
OBJECTIVE: To study the dissolution amounts of aciclovir (ACV) from differently based preparations and provide the evidence for the development of new preparation of ACV. METHOD: The dissolution tester was applied for the quantitative determination of ACV released from 3 based formulations and 5 concentrations samples. The release amount per unit area (M) and the accumulative release percentage (Q) were compared respectively. RESULTS: The value for M was raised with the increase of the concentration of aciclovir in preparations, and for Q was reduced. The release rates of the aciclovir gel were at least two times faster than the creams and the ointment. CONCLUSION: The drug dissolution from ACV gel was better than the creams and the ointment. 10 gkg-1 ACV in prearation was the suitable concentration.

ObjectiveTo observe the effects of the two kinds of rigid fixed bridge design on the stress of the alveolar bone of mandibular first molar after hemisection.MethodsThe normal mandibular first molars were selected as control group. The two-abutment teeth and three-abutment teeth rigidly fixed bridge designs were selected as trial group. Stress distributions in the remaining sections of the alveolar bone models were evaluated with photoelastic stress analysis method.ResultsThe stress values of two kinds of rigid fixed bridge design were higher than the control group but still below the twice. There was no significantly difference between two-abutment teeth rigidly fixed bridge design and three-abutment teeth rigidly fixed bridge design (P>0.05).ConclusionTwo-abutment teeth rigidly fixed bridge of mandibular first molar should be chosen after hemisection.

ObjectiveTo discuss the design and fabrication of the photoelastic model of mandibular first molar after hemisection.MethodsAccording to principles of similarity, different materials were used to manufacture the photoelastic model of mandibular first molar with hemisection, which included teeth, alveolar bone and pericementum.ResultsThe photoelastic modle of mandibular first molar with hemisection was manufactured, which was as similar as noumenon in appearance, parameter and boundary condition.ConclusionThe photoelastic model can be applied in qualitative analysis of the stress distribution in the periodontal supporting tissues of mandibular first molar with hemisection.

In the present study, the genomic sequence characteristics of HN-JY40 strains of the hepatitis E virus (HEV) isolated from pigs in Henan Province, China, were analyzed and the evolutionary relationship between HN-JY40 and other sequenced strains examined. The whole genome of HN-JY40 was sequenced and analyzed by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction, 3' rapid amplification of cDNA ends (3' RACE) and 5' RACE. Bioinformatic analyses were carried out with Megalign, Expasy, clustal x, and MEGA 4 software. The genome of HN-JY40 was 7 223 bp in size upon removal of polyA sequences. Sizes were 9 bp and 69 bp at 5' and 3' noncoding regions, respectively. The genome of HN-JY40 was predicted to contain three open reading frames (ORFs): ORF1 (5 124 bp) encoding 1 707 amino acids; ORF2 (2 025 bp) encoding 674 amino acids; ORF3 (345 bp) encoding 114 amino acids. Phylogenetic-tree analyses indicated that HN-JY40 is a typical type-IV virus that belongs to a new subgenotype of HEV genotype 4. We sequenced and analyzed the whole genome of HN-JY40. This strategy elicited the genomic characteristics of the HEV isolated from pigs in Henan Province as well as the evolutionary relationships between HN- JY40 and other HEV isolates from pigs. We revealed that the ORF1 of HN-JY40 (153-432 nt) and human HK 104-2004 had high similarity, which offers molecular evidence for uncovering the interspecies transmission of the HEV.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(19):-
Objective To explore the property and diagnostic significancec of transnasal gastroscope(EG-470N5)in children with upper gastrointestinal tract disorders. Methods Sixty children with upper gastrointestinal tract disorders were examined by using EG-470N5.The scope was inserted either through nose(n=28)or via mouth(n=32).Beside the routine preparations, nasal spray of lidocaine or nasal drib of ephedrine was added to those who received nasal intubation. Results Examination of upper gastrointestinal tract subjects in all succed with no obvious side response in 28 cases(46.7%)who received the examination via nose,27 cases(45%)had mild nausea and 5 cases(8.3%)had serious nausea and dysphoria.Children with esophagostenosis and pyloristenosis and 2-day-old neonate were examined without adverse effect. Conclusions Transnasal gastroscope is preponderant to children due to its slim diameter and supple body, especially to those having swallow difficulty and confined tract. It is more favorable practical prospect than routine gastroscope.
