Objective To investigate the differences of coronary artery lesion between myocardial infarction patients with or without ST segment elevation. Methods This study included 126 confirmed myocardial infarction patients with acute ST segment elevation (STEMI) and 96 confirmed myocardial infarction patients with acute non-ST segment elevation (NSTEMI). All patients received coronary angiography and the results were compared between two groups. Results More myocardial patients were with single vessel disease in STEMI group as compared with NSTEMI group (44% vs 14%, P

To evaluate the regulating effect of Buyang Huanwu decoction and its simple prescription (Naojian tablet) on CDK4/Cyclin D1 expression in hippocampus tissues of rats with cerebral ischemia, SD rats were divided into the sham-operation group, the model group, the Buyang Huanwu decoction group (ig, 3.15 g · kg⁻¹) and the simple prescription group (ig, 2.41 g · kg⁻¹). Each group was further divided into five subgroups based on time points after the administration, i. e. 1 d, 3 d, 7 d, 14 d and 28 d, respectively. CDK4/Cyclin D1 expressions of the group at different time points were examined by using immunohistochemistry and real-time qPCR. According to the results, the cerebral ischemia model group showed higher CDK4/Cyclin D1 expression than the sham-operation groups (P < 0.05), suggesting that the cell cycle signal pathway would be activated by the cerebral ischemic injury. Both Buyang Huanwu decoction and simple prescription groups showed significantly lower cyclin expression than the model group at 3 d, 7 d, 14 d, 28 d (P < 0.05), indicating both Buyang Huanwu decoction and its simple prescription could play the neuroprotective effect through the cell cycle signal pathway.

Objective To investigate the arterial injury in vitro porcine kidney to different size of nephrostomy tracts. Methods The technique of percutaneous nephrostomy was applied to establish 11 groups of different size of nephrostomy tracts from 12 F to 32 F,with 40 tracts in every group. The technique of digital subtraction angiography (DSA) was used to inspect and analyze arterial injury. Results In the range from 12 F to 32 F,the damage of arterial injury increased with the size of the tract diameter. In groups of 20 F and 32 F,the number of nephrostomy tracts with serious arterial injury was 18 (18/40) and 30 (30/40) respectively, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no statistical difference between groups 18 F、20 F、and 22 F. Conclusions The damage of renal arterial injury increased with the size of the nephrostomy tract.Atract of 20 F reduees arterial injury compared with a tract of 32 F.

0.05)and the TNM staging (P=0.55).A mild elevated compared other pathological classification was found in small cell lung cancer (0.191?0.275).Conclusions The results showed that RFQ-PCR was suitable for measurement of the mRNA level of PLKI in bronchoscopic bioptic specimens. This study suggest elevated expression of PLK1 might play a important role in development of lung cancer,so that PLK1 might be a potential tumor marker for Lung cancers.Advanced studies will be needed to clarify that PLKI mRNA level do not relate to TNM staging and pathological classification.

Objective To establish a MRI grading diagnostic model for chronic pancreatitis (CP) to acquire better combination for CP diagnosis and improve the diagnostic ability of CP grading. Methods To collecte the data of 68 CP patients who were clinically diagnosed and 23 health volunteers from Dec 2012 to Oct 2014.There were 23 mild CP, 14 moderate CP and 31 severe CP according to Cambridge classification.3.0 T MRI data were analyzed, and 14 features were extracted to compare the MRI features among groups. The single ordinal regression analysis was conducted on the variables with significant difference between groups, and the collinearity was diagnosed. The factor analysis was used for multicollinearity. The multiple ordinal logistic regression was finally conducted to establish the regression model. Results There was no significant difference between control groups and CP groups on pancreas divisum (X14), but significant differences were found in other 13 features (P<0.05).Single ordinal regression analysis of 13 features showed that all features except pancreatic parenchymal bubble (X12) were significantly correlated with CP grading diagnosis(P<0.05).The effect of multicollinearity was validated among 9 continuous variables.Three common factors were identified, including F1(X3、X4、X5、X9、X8), F2(X7、X6) and F3 (X1、X2) which represented the exocrine function, the features of main pancreatic ducts and pancreatic parenchyma, respectively.Six features were implemented into the multi Logistic regression model, which included F1, F2, F3, X10 (the visualizations of branch pancreatic duct after secretin stimulation), X11 (pancreatic shape) and X13 (the filling defects of main pancreatic duct). Finally, the most appropriate regression model was gotten, which was the scale model of the probit link function. The model′s diagnostic accuracy for normal, mild CP, moderate CP, severe CP and total CP was 96.65%,100%, 71.42%,100% and 94.50%, respectively. Conclusions The ordinal logistic regression model proposed in this study may accurately predict the CP grades and can offer valuable references for clinic diagnosis and therapy of CP.
