1.Study on Optimum Conditions of Isolation and Purification of Specific Toxin Fractions Produced by Exserohilum turcicum

Five fractions,Ⅰ(R_f0.06)、Ⅱ(R_f0.21)、Ⅲ(R_f0.45)、Ⅳ(R_f0.60)、Ⅴ(R_f0.75)have been obtained after HT-toxin from race 1 of Exserohilum turcicum 99-2 isolated by TLC. In all of these fractions,only fractions Ⅱ had specific toxicity to the corn leaves with Ht1 gene. Then fractions Ⅱ-1、Ⅱ-2、Ⅱ-3 were isolated from fractions Ⅱ by HPLC purification,and the bioassay result showed only fraction Ⅱ-3 was toxigentic to corn leaves with Ht1 gene but non-toxigentic to corn leaves without Ht1 gene. Fractions Ⅱ-1、Ⅱ-2 and Ⅱ-3 were scanned by UV-Vis spectrophotometer. It was shown that the fractions Ⅱ-1 and Ⅱ-2 had analogous spectrum,and especially the fraction Ⅱ-3 had a special peak at 300nm.
4.Clinical application of computed tomography angiography (CTA) and color Doppler image formation technology in thumb and finger reconstruction

Objective To explore the clinical significance of the precision evaluation of computed tomography angiography and color Doppler image formation technology to the condition of the vascular system in the donor site.Methods From January,2014 to December,2014,CTA and color Doppler were used to examine conditions of the first dorsal metatarsal artery's courser and the size of original caliber in 25 patients with thumb or finger defected.Also the distance between skin and the first dorsal metatarsal artery.The accurate positions and adjacent relations of vessels in donor site were precisely marked and then the vessel original caliber was measured.Results All the first dorsal metatarsal arteries of 25 cases can be appeared clearly in CTA and color Doppler.Blood vessels line and filling results were completely consistent in intraoperative findings.The difference of the vessel original average caliber was statistically significant (P < 0.05) (1.20 ± 0.25 mm,1.41 ± 0.15 mm and 1.3 ±0.2 mm in Doppler,CTA and operation,respectively) while the distance was not significant (P > 0.05)(9.20 ±3.06 mm,10.32 ± 2.76 mm and 0.2 ± 2.6 mm in Doppler,CTA and operation,respectively) All the 25 transplanted toes were survived.Conclusion CTA combined color Doppler image formation technology in thumb or finger reconstruction can objectively reflect the real situation of the vessels in donor sites,and the structural characteristics and classification of anatomy for individualized,and has important clinical value in preoperative foot blood supply assessment.
5.Rifaximin in Treating Acute Infectious Diarrhea:A Clinical Study

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the clinical curative effect and safety of rifaximin in treating acute infectious(diarrhea).METHODS A multi-center randomized trial with double-blind double-analogue and parallel(-control) with positive drug was used.All the 240 chosen patients were classified into two groups.There were 120 cases in the trial group.On the first day,the patients received rifaximin 300mg tid.From the 2nd to 5th day,the patients(received) rifaximin 400 mg tid.There were 120 cases in the control group,on the first day,the patients received levofloxacin 100 mg tid;from 2nd to 5th day,they received levofloxacin 100 mg tid.The total therapeutic course was 3 to 5 days.RESULTS After 3-5 day treatment,symptoms such as ache in abdomen and diarrhea were(alleviated) or disappeared and stool examination was turned better or normally.To the trial group,the cure rate was 84.68%,the dominant effecive rate was 15.31%,and the total(effective) rate was 100.00%.The bacteria clearance rate was 100.00% in the trial group.There was no significant difference between two groups.There were no severe side effect in the two groups.CONCLUSIONS Rifaximin is an effective and safe drug for acute(infectious) diarrhea for adults.

AIM To investigate the effect of allicin on the regulation of VEGF mRNA expression in human hepatocellular carcinoma cells. METHODS Hepatocellular carcinoma cells were treated with the concentration 10 ?g?L -1 allicin in culture medium,and then the relative VEGF mRNA level at 8 h in human hepatocellular carcinoma cells was evaluated by reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction using HPRT(hypoxanthine phosphoribosyltransferase)as an internal control standard. Background Excimer laser corneal refractive surgery is widely used because it reduces the dependency of refractive error eye to glasses.However,the adverse effects of anti-inflammatory drugs is a problem after operation.Lotemax eyedrops is a kind of steroidal anti-inflammatory drug,with a good effect on the operative eye.But its influence on intraocular pressure(IOP) after long-term topical administration is less studied.Objective This study was to investigate the influence of lotemax eyedrops on IOP after long-term topical administration in myopic eyes received excimer laser corneal refractive surgery.Methods An one-month retrospective case serial study was adopted.The case history data of 1552 eyes from 1552 Patients who received excimer laser corneal refractive surgery were collected in Tangshan Eye Hospital from 2011 January to 2012 January,including 321 eyes with laser in situ keratomileusis(LASIK),608 eyes with sub-Bowman keratomileusis (SBK) and 623 eyes with femtosecond laser for flap excimer laser in situ keratomileusis(FS-LASIK).Lotemax eyedrops was topically administered after operation 4 times per day initial and then decreased 1 time weekly for 1 month.IOP was measured in before,1 week,2 weeks,3 weeks,4 weeks after operation with non-contact tonometer.The increasing range of IOP was divided into <5 mmHg,5-15 mmHg and > 15 mmHg after operation.Optical head parameters were measured by Heidelberg retina tomography when IOP increasing after operation.Results Within 1 month,elevated IOP was found in 47 of 1552 eyes after administration of lotemax eyedrops,including 3.12% (10/321) in the LASIK group,3.29% (20/608) in the SBK group and 2.73% (17/623) in the FS-LASIK group,without significant difference among them(x2 =1.95,P>0.05).The IOP elevated 1 week after operation and remained normal after that till drug withdrawal in all eyes.There were no significant differences in the disk area (1.65 ±0.44) mm2 vs.(1.66 ±0.44) mm2,disk volume (0.40 ±0.09)mm3 vs.(0.39±0.08) mm3 and mean nerve fiber layer thickness (0.28 ± 0.08) mm vs.(0.29 ± 0.07) mm in IOP elevation duration compared with 1 month after IOP recovery(t =0.34,0.81,0.48,P>0.05).Conclusions Topical administration of 0.5% lotemax eyedrops after excimer laser corneal refractive surgery leads to reversible high IOP.It is very important to monitor the IOP during use of the drug.

Objective To assess the optimal visiualization capacity of brachial plexus with three-dimensional nerve-sheath signal increased with inked rest-tissue rapid acquisition of relaxation imaging (3D SHINKEI), exploring the feasibility of preliminary diagnostic value on brachial plexus diseases. Methods MRI scans were performed on 24 healthy volunteers with no history of brachial plexus injury, and 46 patients whose outcomes of lesions had been verified as post-ganglionic brachial plexus injuries by surgery or clinical follows-up . The scan series consist 3D SHINKEI, STIR in the coronal plane as well as DW-MRN in the axial plane using a 3.0 T MR system. The source and post-processed images of 3D SHINKEI and DW-MRN were scored according to the optimal visibility on brachial plexus, in the meanwhile, contrast-to-noise ratio of the original images in the 3D SHINKEI and STIR sequences were calculated separately. Two radiologists blindly compared the detection rate of positive brachial plexus injuries between 3D SHINKEI and STIR in 46 patients. And then analyze the outcomes by means of Kappa test, Mann-Whitney test , independent sample t test, and Chi-square test. Results Post-ganglionic brachial plexus showed high intensity in the 3D SHINKEI sequence. In the 24 healthy volunteers, the scores by the two radiologists were 3.6 ± 0.6, 3.5 ± 0.6, 3.0 ± 0.2, 2.9 ± 0.1, respectively. There was statistical difference between the two sequences (Z=2.667,P=0.008,P<0.05). And the Kappa was 0.8 and 0.6 with favorable consistency. The CNR of 3D SHINKEI and STIR were 0.61 ± 0.07, 0.42 ± 0.03 (t=12.78, P=0.001, P<0.05). The positive detection rates of post-ganglionic brachial plexus injuries on 3D SKINKEI and STIR were, 78.3%, 52.2%(χ2=9.421, P<0.05). Conclusions 3D SHINKEI sequence demonstrates robust visibility consistently and can clearly display the structures and signals of post-ganglionic abnormality, compared with DW-MRN and STIR. This technique can be helpful to provide more complementary information to further confirm the diagnosis of brachial plexus injuries.
9.Preliminary study of magnetic resonance diffusion tensor characteristics of uterine fibroids

Objective To evaluate the value of diffusion tensor imaging (DTI)in the assessment of uterine fibroids by analyzing uterine fibroids and normal myometrium.Methods Forty-four patients with uterine fibroids confirmed by surgery were included in this study.DTI was performed using double gradient GE HDxt 3.0T and HD Cardiac coil.All data were transferred to GE AW4.5 Workstation software for data processing.Apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC),fractional aniso(FA),volume ratio aniso(VRA)and T2-weighted trace of uterine fibroids and normal myometrium were recorded.Diffusion tensor tractography (DTT)of uterine fibroids and normal myometrium were reconstructed and observed.The ADC,FA,VRA and T2-weighted trace of different regions of interest (ROI)were compared between uterine fibroids and normal myometrium.Results The ADC,FA,VRA and T2-weighted trace of uterine fibroids and normal myometrium were (1.65±0.32)×10 -9 mm2/s and (1.21±0.97)×10 -9 mm2/s,0.20±0.08 and 0.28±0.08,0.05 ± 0.05 and 0.09±0.07,344.22±66.1 9 and 318.97±98.48,respectively.The ADC of normal myometrium was higher than that of uterine fibroids (P =0.009).The FA and VRA of normal myometrium were lower than those of uterine fibroids (P =0.000,P =0.005). There was no statistically significant difference of T2-weighted trace between uterine fibroids and normal myometrium (P =0.1 74). There were obvious differences between uterine fibroids and normal myometrium in direction,arrangement and number of fibers. Conclusion DTI can be used to evaluate the structure difference between uterine fibroids and normal myometrium,which has the potential to improve assessment value of MRI for uterine fibroids.
10.Demonstration of nested case-control study design in mechanisms research of allergic reaction of tanreqing injection.

The paper is focused on the clinical applications of Tanreqing injection after listing, detecting and analyzing the related blood indicators of patients with allergic reactions based on prospective, multi-center, large sample, registration-type clinical safety monitoring nested case-control study (NCCS) to explore the possible mechanisms of allergic reaction of Tanreqing injection, 3 006 patients cases used with Tanreqing injection were monitored, including 3 cases of adverse reactions and 2 cases of allergic reactions. Each patient of allergic reactions, according to the ratio of 1:4 matches four cases of not adverse reactions as a control group of patients, while 5 healthy and 5 cases of volunteers into the healthy group. We examined the correlation detection of cases of allergic reactions among groups such as T-IgE, IgA, IgG, C3, C4, IFN-g, IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, IL-10. Allergic reactions of Tanreqing injection may be mediated by IgE as type I based on existing research data. This results and conclusions will promote the justifiability and safety of clinical applications.
