Studies in recent years have demonstrated that stromal cell-derived factor-1 SDF-1/CXCR4 axis plays an important role in the process of angiogenesis. The expression of SDF-1 in ischemic tissue increases during cerebral ischemia. It binds to CXCR4 receptor on the surface of endothelial progenitor cells EPCs, and thus promotes bone marrow-derived EPC mobilization, proliferation, and migration to the ischemic areas and homing. EPCs differentiate into mature endothelial cells in the ischemic region, promote the formation of new blood vessels, and thus irrlprove the blood supply to ischemic tissue. This article reviews the effect of SDF-1/CXCR4 axis in the treatment of cerebral ischemia with EPCs.

Objective To observe the effect of l-3-n-butylphthalide(l-NBP)on the of nuclear factor-?B and I?B-? in primary cultured murine brain glial cells following oxygen-glucose deprivation/ reoxygenation(OGD/R).Methods Cultured mouse brain glial cells in vitro and established OGD/R model.Glial cells were divided into five groups: normal control(NC)group,OGD 24 h/R 24 h group,l-NBP 20 ?mol/L group,l-NBP 100 ?mol/L group,l-NBP 500 ?mol/L group.The protein expression of NF-?B in nuclear and I?B-? in endochylema were analyzed by Western blot.Results Comparing with NC group,OGD 24 h/R 24 h group showed a significantly higher expression of NF-?B(P

Objective To retrospectively analyze the clinical classification ,laboratory and imageological examinations of Wil‐son′s disease for strengthening the cognition on this disease and increasing the diagnosis rate .Methods The clinical data of the pa‐tients with WD in our hospital from January 2011 to September 2014 ,were collected and performed the statistical analysis .Results Among different ages ,nationalities and genders of WD patients ,first onset age ,clinical classification and laboratory examination had some difference ,the average age of first onset in male WD patients was earlier than that in female WD patients ,the low density shadow change of nervous type WD existed in MRI .Conclusion Heredity is not a unique factor affecting WD ,gender ,age and na‐tionality may be one of factors affecting the first onset age and clinical symptoms in the WD patients .

Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of overseas imported malaria reported in Chongqing City from 2011 to 2015,so as to provide the evidence for improving the imported malaria control strategies. Methods The epi-demiological data of overseas imported malaria cases were collected and analyzed descriptively for the species,original coun-tries,diagnosis and treatment in Chongqing City from 2011 to 2015. Results A total of 148 overseas imported malaria cases were reported in Chongqing City from 2011 to 2015,in which 96(65.54%)cases were falciparum malaria,and 37(24.32%) cases were vivax malaria;125(84.46%)cases were infected in Africa,and the rest of 23(15.54%)cases were infected in Southeast Asia. Most of the patients were 30 to 50 years old male workmen,and the ratio of male to female was 11.42:1. There was no obvious seasonal distribution among the reported timelines of the cases;however,there were two small peaks from June to August and from January to February. The median interval time of imported malaria cases from malaria onset to see a doctor was 1 day and from seeing the doctor to get malaria diagnosis was 2 days. The patients'first selected institutions were county medical institutions(50 cases,33.78%),then provincial medical institutions(36 cases,24.325%)and private doctors(20 cases,13.51%),and only 79(53.38%)patients got malaria diagnoses in their first selected institutions. The standard treatment were provided to 142(95.54%)cases. There were 43(29.05%)patients had serious complications and three patients were dead. Conclusion It is very important to enhance the multi-sector's collaboration to establish the collaborative investigation mechanism for screening malaria patients,and strengthen malaria health education for overseas workers and training courses in primary care medical institutions.

Objective:To investigate the clinical significance of dynamic analysis of plasma brain natriuretic peptide in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy with chronic heart failure.Methods:Ninety patients with dilated cardiomyopathy with chronic heart failure admitted into our hospital firom March 2012 to March 2016 were divided into group A (20 cases),group B (38 cases),and group C (32 cases) according to the NYHA grading.The plasma BNP levels and LVEF,LA,LVEDD,and LVESD in the three groups were detected and compared.The correlation of plasma BNP and cardiac function and ultrasonic cardiogram indexes were analyzed.And the capability of plasma BNP and LVEF in diagnosis of patients were analyzed and compared.Results:The plasma BNP level in group C was markedly higher than that of group A and group B (P＜0.05),and that in group B was much higher than that of group A (P＜0.05).And LA in group C was significantly higher than that of group A (P＜0.05),while differences in LVEF,LVEDD,and LVESD were not obvious (P＞0.05).The plasma BNP was positively correlated to NYHA grading,but had no significant correlation with the LVEF,LVEDD,LVESD,and LA (P＞0.05).Based on results of receiver operating characteristic curve analysis,plasma BNP =523.5 pg/mL was the threshold value for identification of patients with NYHA Ⅲ and Ⅳ (AUC=0.901,P＜0.001),while LVEF had not the capability (AUC=0.392,P=0.276).Conclusion:Detection of plasma BNP level had important clinical significance on diagnosis,screening and cardiac functional grading of patients with dilated cardiomyopathy with chronic heart failure.

[ABSTRACT]OBJECTIVEThis study aims to explore the molecular mechanism and expression of Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway and tumor marker CD44 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells after transfection withβ-Catenin when the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway was blocked.METHODSSP cells and CD44+SP cells isolated from the nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line CNE-2 by flow cytometry were identified. Changes in the number and biological characteristics of CNE-2 and CD44+SP cells in vitro were investigated after the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway was blocked through siRNA.RESULTSSP cells accounted for 2.3% of nasopharyngeal carcinoma CNE-2 cells, andCD44+SP cells accounted for 36.5% of the SP cells. CD44+SP cells showed significantly higher in vitro proliferation and resistance to chemotherapy (P<0.05). After transfection withβ-Catenin siRNA, the proliferation, cloning efficiency, and tolerance to chemotherapeutic drugs of the cells were found statistical differences compared with those before transfection ofβ-Catenin siRNA. CONCLUSIONWnt/β-catenin signaling pathway abnormalities are closely related to the biological behavior of nasopharyngeal carcinomaCD44+SP cells. Interference of this pathway can change the characteristics of nasopharyngeal carcinoma stem cells.

Presently, China is actively promoting the government to purchase pension services of public health care combined with the long-term care, especially policy and determination of community-based de-velopment of an elders' service model. Based on the purchased services experience of the United Kingdom combined with the situation in China, this paper puts forward some suggestions such as the repositioning the role of the govern-ment, actively supporting the development of civil service organizations and perfecting the legal system of care serv-ices to be purchased, supporting the development of proposals to reduce the burden on the government and enhance the efficiency of care services through improving their quality.
