Objective To investigate the clinical curative effect of“Qing Dynasty Palace manipulation” in combination with plaster immobilization and foot bath with traditional Chinese medicine for acute soft tissue sprain of the ankle.Method A total of 90 patients with acute soft tissue sprain of the ankle from emergency department of WangJing Hospital, CACMS were recruited from July 2013 to April 2014 and randomly divided into two groups with 45 patients in each. The patients in the treatment group were treated with the court manipulation, plaster and Chinese herbs washing, and those in the control group were only treated with cast immobilization. The clinical curative effect was evaluated using Baird-Jackson score system(excellent: 96-100; good: 91-95; fair: 81-90; poor: 0-80).Result At the second, third week after treatment, the excellent/good rates in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group(at week 2: 73.3%vs. 44.4%;χ2=11.468,P<0.01; at week 3: 86.7%vs.60.0%;χ2=6.875,P<0.05). At week 2 and 3, Baird-Jackson scores in the treatment group(87.41±14.12, 93.16±9.51)and in the control group(76.32±11.41, 82.54±9.22)were significantly higher than those before treatment(treatment group: 72.11±12.61; control group: 71.67±13.12, allP<0.05); at week 3, Baird-Jackson score in the treatment group were significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion“Qing Dynasty Palace manipulation” in combination with plaster immobilization and foot bath with traditional Chinese medicine can increase Baird-Jackson score and aid recovery of the ankle function in patients with acute soft tissue sprain of the ankle.

The microfluidic channels integrated with microring resonator were designed. The salt coalescence on chip surface caused by liquid volatilization in open environment was avoided and only 30 μL of reaction solution was consumed. These channels significantly reduced the experiment cost. The design, fabrication and characterization of a highly sensitive and label-free silicon-on-insulator (SOI) microring optical resonator integrated with the microfluidic channels were demonstrated. The radius of the microring was 5 μm and the straight waveguide with a width of 450 nm was employed in the microring resonator. The microring resonator device had many advantages such as high sensitivity, label-free and real-time detection. Using different concentrations of ethanol solution with known refractive indices, the refractive index detection sensitivity was 76.09 nm/RIU and the volume refractive index detection limit was 5.25×10Symbolm_4 RIU. We also demonstrated the label-free quantitative specific detections of human immunoglobulin G (IgG) solutions using an antibody-modified microring resonator by measuring the resonance wavelength shift resulting from refraction index changes causing by the immobilization of antibodies and specific recognition between antibodies and antigens, respectively. The results showed that the microring optical resonator could real-time monitor the reaction between biological molecules, the resonator could be used in the quantitative detection and biological sensing.

Objective: To prepare an immunoconjugate of anti-EGFR monoclonal antibody (ETS) and adriamycin(ADR) and to investigute it's inhibitory effect on human epidermoid carcinoma (A431) in vitro and in vivo and it's side effect on C57BL/ 6J mice. Methods:The immunoconjugate(ETS-ADR) was prepared with an improved glutaraldehyde conjugate method and the cytotoxicity effects of EQ75-ADR on A431 cells and Wish cells were measured by MTT assay. A431 tumor-bearing nude mice and C57BL/6J experimental model were established and were used for testing the inhibitory edicts of EQ75-ADR. The side effect of EQ75-ADR was compared with ADR. Results:The EQ75-ADR showed specific cytotoxicity on A431cells,the ytotoxicity of EQ75-ADR was 50-fold, 14-fold and 10-fold more efficient than that of EQ75, ADR and mixture of EQ75 and ADR (EQ75+ ADR) respectively. The effect of EQ75-ADR on with cells was 10-fold less efficient than that of ADR and EQ75+ADR. As compared with the cytoxicity effect of EQ75-ADR on Wish cells with A431 cells, it showed 300-fold less efficient.Similar cytotoxicity results were shown in 2 h treatment experimental group. The EQ75-ADR exhibited significant anti-tumor activity on tumor-bearing nude mice, and the inhibition late is 92.2% (P

To explore the effect of icariside ? on osteoprotegerin(OPG) expression in osteoblasts, primary osteoblasts were cultured with different concentration of icariside ? and 17?estradiol. As a major metabolite of icarrin in vivo, icariside ? exerted a better effect on OPG expression which plays a key role in osteoporosis. 20 ng/dl icariside ? also exerted better effect on OPG secretion than that of positive control group. Consequently, icariside ?could be a candidate for osteoporosis treatment.

Objcetive:
To explore the treatment of long segment defect of tibia by using tensor fascia lata combined with iliac flap or deep circumflex iliac pedicle iliac flap.
Methods:
From February 2012 to August 2017, The People′s Hospital of Zun Yi City Bo Zhou District treated 16 patients who had long segment defect of tibia. There were 11 males and 5 females, age from 22 to 58 years old, the average age was 42 years old. Iliac flap grafting with tensor fascia lata combined with iliac flap or deep circumflex iliac pedicle was used to treat the defect of long segment of tibia. There were 4 cases with simple tibial defect and 12 cases with skin defect. The longest tibial defect was 5-8 cm.
Results:
In this study, four patients used iliac flaps with deep circumflex iliac pedicle, the area of flaps ranged from 2.5 cm×5.0 cm to 5.0 cm×10.0 cm, while the area of iliac flaps ranged from 5.0 cm×2.5 cm to 8.0 cm×4.0 cm. Twelve patients used grafting with tensor fascia lata combined with iliac flap, the area of flaps ranged from 5.0 cm×12.0 cm to 12.0 cm×23.0 cm, while the area of iliac flaps ranged from 7.0 cm×2.0 cm to 8.0 cm×4.0 cm. All 16 cases of bone flap were survived, fracture healing, without surgical complications. The average follow-up period was 1.5 years, the flaps had good appearance in 10 cases and was slightly bloated in 6 cases; the ankle had normal motion in 14 cases and had poor dorsal extension in 2 cases. X-ray films showed that the bone flap repaired the bone defects and reached bone healing.
Conclusions
Vascularized tensor fascia lata combined with iliac flap or deep circumflex iliac pedicle iliac flap grafts increase local blood supply and accelerate the process of fracture healing.

ObjectiveTo explore the effect of suspension combined with acupuncture on chronic non-specific neck pain (CNNP). MethodsA total of 81 patients with unilateral CNNP from the rehabilitation outpatient clinic of Wangjing Hospital from March, 2022 to March, 2023 were divided into suspension group (n = 27), acupuncture group ((n = 27) and combined group (n = 27) randomely. The suspension group underwent conventional suspension, the acupuncture group received conventional acupuncture treatment, and the combined group underwent suspension and acupuncture, for six weeks. The Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), Neck Disability Index (NDI), and cross-sectional area (CSA) of longus colli and multifidus in the neck using ultrasound imaging were compared before and after treatment. ResultsAfter treatment, the VAS and NDI score, and CSA of longus colli and multifidus improved in three groups (|t| > 4.473, P < 0.001), and the combined group was better than the other two groups (P < 0.05). ConclusionSuspension and acupuncture can relief the pain, improve function, and increase CSA of longus colli and multifidus in patients with unilateral CNNP, while the combination of the two methods is better.
