Objective To evaluate the value of interstitial magnetic resonance lymphography (MRL) to identify the sentinel lymph node (SLN) of breast cancer. Methods Totally 58 patients with invasive breast cancer were consecutive collected.15 mL of Gd-DTPA and 2 mL of mepivacain hydrochloride 2% were mixed and 0.5 mL of them was injected into the outside of the subareolar breast tissue.MRI was performed with Siemens 3.0 T Magnetom Trio MRI instrument using volumetric interpolated breath-hold examination sequence.Axillary lymph flow was tracked on maximum intensity projection (MIP) and sentinel lymph nodes were identified by interstitial MRL as M-SLN.All M-SLN were marked by a method of surface capsule localization.During surgery, methylene blue was used as tracer and SLNs stained by it were detected and excised by following the blue lymphatic vessels, these were designated as D-SLN.The numbers of SLNs detected by interstitial MRL and stained by methylene blue during operation were compared by paired samples rank-sum test and the correlation was analyzed by Spearman rank correlation test.Assessing the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of interstitial MRL for diagnosing M-SLN.Results A total of 75 M-SLNs (average 1.60 ± 0.52) were identified by interstitial MRL.During operation, all M-SLNs were easily resected under the guidance of skin marker.91 D-SLNs (average 1.94±0.63) were stained by methylene blue, which was significant more than those of the M-SLNs.There was a strong correlation (Spearman's rank correlation coefficient 0.69,P<0.001) between the SLNs identified by these two methods.Interstitial MRL in diagnosing D-SLN metastasis of breast cancer had a sensitivity of 95.8%,specificity of 88.9%,and accuracy of 93.3%.Conclusion Interstitial MRL can accurately identify the axillary sentinel lymph node and guide the biopsy. It may have great clinical value in the future.

During growth and progression, the microenvironment of tumors suffers a series of abnormal characteristics, which include hypoxia, acid pH, increased oxidative stress, excess glutathione (GSH), as well as certain overexpressed enzymes. Although affect or limit the cancer therapeutic outcomes, these factors provide possible approaches to strategies for cancer detection and novel therapy at the same time. Recently, based on these properties of the tumor microenvironment (TME), various kinds of responsive nano-platforms have been continuously developed and applied in cancer theranostics preliminarily. Thus, this review would introduce the typical features of TME firstly, then detailly summarize the design principles and research progress of corresponding hypoxia-responsive, pH-responsive, redox-responsive, enzyme-responsive, dual-responsive and multi-responsive nano-platforms. Finally, the challenges and the perspectives of the TME-responsive nano-platforms are briefly discussed.

Biomedical and Environmental Sciences 2011;24(3):261-267
OBJECTIVEIn this study, we examined the biodegradation of Dichloroethylene (DCE) by two strains of aerobic bacteria.
METHODSUsing batch experiments, we measured the biodegradation rates of DCE and the residual concentrations of DCE for each bacterial strain. The varying trends in biodegradation rates with different initial concentrations of DCE were fitted to kinetic models.
RESULTSThe biodegradation kinetics of DCE by the strain DT-X, which uses toluene as co-metabolic substrate, fitted the Monod model (corresponding parameters: v(max)=0.0075 h(-1), K(s)=2.12 mg/L). The biodegradation kinetics of DCE by the strain DT-M, which uses 1,1-Dichloroethylene as single substrate, fitted the Haldane model (parameters: v(max) =0.0046 h(-1), K(s)=4.25 mg/L, K(i)=8.47 mg/L).
CONCLUSIONThe substrate removal rate constant of 1,1-Dichloroethylene of the co-metabolic strain DT-X was much higher than that of strain DT-M. The substrate removal rates obtained from both bacterial strains in this study were higher than those reported in similar studies.

Objective To investigate the drinking pattern and the condition of alcoholic fatty liver disease in a certain coal mine workers in Shanxi Province. Methods A total of 1501 workers in a coal mine in Shanxi Province were surveyed by field investigation method.Contents include questionnaire, physical measurement, abdominal ultrasound liver and fasting blood glucose, blood lipid, liver function, cholesterol, blood biochemical indicator detection.ALD diagnostic criteria for fatty liver and alcoholic liver disease group were .recommended by the Chinese Medical Association in 2010.The t test,X2 test and multiariable logistic regression analysis were conducted by SPSS17.0 software. Results This study involved ALD patients with 265 people, accounting for 17.65% of the total survey. The drinking pattern, such as drinking patterns in the initial drinking age, long duration of drinking, drinking frequency, drunkenness, fasting drinking, average daily alcohol intake as the risk factors of alcoholic liver disease. The Logistic regression analysis of alcoholic liver disease related factors showed that, drinking age, drinking way and daily average alcohol intake were closely related to the occurrence of ALD(OR=0.942,P=0.769;OR=2.811,P=0.000;OR=1.756,P=0.000;OR=542.844,P=0.001) .Conclusion In the coal mine workers, drinking pattern in the initial drinking age, drinking age, daily average alcohol intake are closely related to ALD illness.

Journal of Audiology and Speech Pathology 2015;(6):578-580,581
Objective To study the false negative results of Gelle test .Methods Hearing test data between August 2013 to July 2014 were retrieved from outpatient records with hearing complaints of tinnitus or hearing loss . Recruiting criteria:no history of otitis media ,normal tympanic membrane ,no radiologic manifestations of lesions in middle ear and mastoid and abiltly of clear expression of changes of hearing .A total of 60 patients(120 ears ) were tested with conventional pure tone audiometry (PTA) and Gelle test .Acoustic immittance and distortion product otoacoustic emission (DPOAE) were tested in 110 and 113 ears ,respectively .Results Among 120 ears ,7 were di‐agnosed as conductive hearing loss ,23 as mixed hearing loss ,52 as sensorineural hearing loss ,and 38 as normal hearing by pure tone audiometry .The negative Gelle test results were detected in 5 ,11 ,16 and 3 ears ,respective‐ly .110 ears were tested with tympanometry ,types A ,B and C tympanograms were found in 102 ears ,2 ears and 6 ears ,respectively ,and the negative Gelle test results were 22 ,2 and 4 ,respectively .DPOAEs were recordable in 56 ears and negative in 57 ears ,and negative Gelle tests were recorded in 12 and 17 ears respectively .Conclusion False-negative results were found in all types of PTA ,tympanometry and DPOAE .It indicates that Gelle test might not be sensitive and accurate enough to evaluate the integrity and mobility of ossicular chain .Gelle test com‐bined with PTA and DPOAE may be better for assessment of hearing loss and entity of ossicular chain .

Objective To investigate the changes of the expressions of ATP-binding cassette transporter A1(ABCA1)and the retinoid X receptor(RXR?in human carotid atherosclerotic plaques and to explore the possible mechanisms by which ABCA1 affects the formation of carotid atherosclerosis(CAS). Methods 24 carotid atherosclerotic plaque and 10 intestinal artery specimens were respectively collected to compared the expression levels of ABCA1 mRNA.RXR?mRNA and those protein,ABCA1 and RXR?gene expressions were determined by reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)in the specimens, meanwhile the presence of ABCAI and RXRcprotein was assessed by Western blot. Results ABCA1(0.79?0.04)and RXR?(0.73?0.04)gene expression were significantly elevated in carotid atherosclerotic plaques(P
