Objective:To explore the influence of IL-18 on the expression of MHCⅠ,MHCⅡ,CD80,CD86 on the surface of 9L cells,to identify the effect of IL-18 on the immunogenicity and the efficiency of tumor antigen presentation of 9L.Methods:Retroviruses were used to transduce the mIL-18 gene into rat glioma cells and the cell clones (9L/IL-18) which steadily expressing mIL-18 gene were obtained ,and got the control cells of 9L/LXSN by the same method.The expression of MHCⅠ,MHCⅡ,CD80,CD86 on the cell surface were assessed by flow cytometry.The cell suspension of 9L/IL-18,9L/LXSN and 9L cells were inoculated into the brain of F344 rat to establish the animal models by the stereotactic technique ,got the tumor tissues to analyze the expression of MHCⅠ, MHCⅡ,CD80 and CD86 on the surface of tumor cells after 14 days.Results:The expression of MHCⅠ,MHCⅡ,CD80 and CD86 on the surface of 9L/IL-18 were (10.9±1.44)%,(0.61±0.14)%,(1.01±0.14)%,(0.57±0.11)% ; had no significant differences with the others in vitro (P>0.05);while the expression of MHCⅠ,CD80 and CD86 on the surface of 9L/IL-18 were(67.51± 1.40)%,(12.51±1.57)%,(6.95±0.56)%which were higher than 9L/LXSN and 9L cells (P<0.05),the expressions of MHCⅡwere no significant difference(P>0.05) in vivo.Conclusion: IL-18 did not affect the immunogenicity of 9L in vitro,but improve the immunogenicity and tumor antigen presentation in vivo.

AIM:To investigate the mechanism responsible for albumin microbubbles adherence to activated leukocytes. METHODS: In vitro studies were performed in which activated or nonactivated leukocytes were incubated with albumin microbubbles and observed under microscopy. Objective To investigate the effectiveness of panoramic mandibular index (PMI) in detecting the bone mineral density (BMD) of mandibular bone and whole-body bone in patients with chronic end-stage renal failure. Methods A total of thirty patients with peritoneal dialysis treatment were used as experimental group and 31 healthy adults were used as control group. The panoramic jaw tomography was taken for the measurement of superior PMI (sPMI) and inferior PMI (iPMI) in two groups. The dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) was used to detect BMD of lumbar spine bone. Data were compared between two groups. The correlation of sPMI, iPMI and BMD of lumbar spine bone was analyzed. Results All indicators including sPMI(0.262 2 ± 0.026 7 vs 0.284 2 ± 0.025 4, t=3.301) , iPMI (0.314 1 ± 0.028 3 vs 0.334 1 ± 0.027 5, t=2.808) and BMD of lumbar spine bone (0.832 3 ± 0.101 0 vs 0.906 9 ± 0.113 6,t=2.709) were significantly lower in experimental group than those in control group (P＜0.01). There was a positive correlation between sPMI and iPMI with BMD of lumbar spine bone (r=0.439 and 0.389, P＜0.05). The BMD of lumbar spine bone was significantly lower in female patients than that of male patients in control group (0.849 7±0.114 7 vs 0.968 0±0.076 3,t=3.357). The BMD of lumbar spine bone was also significantly lower in female patients than that of male patients in experimental group (0.775 4±0.068 4 vs 0.882 1±0.099 9,t=3.365). There were no significant differences in values of sPMI and iPMI between male and female patients of two groups. Conclusion The BMD of mandibular bone is lower in patients with chronic end-stage renal failure than that of the normal people. PMI index is a simple and effective method to detect the BMD of mandibular bone, which can reflect the BMD of whole body bone in patients with chronic end-stage renal disease.

Objective To investigate the influence of different treatments for tubal pregnancy on ovarian reserve function by transvaginal color Doppler ultrasonography.Methods One hundred and twentyfour cases of tubal pregnancy were divided into three groups according to the treatment,group A with 45 cases under the salpingectomy,group B with 36 cases under the laparoscopic conservative surgery for retaining oviduct,group C with 43 cases taken by Methotrexate.On the day of a spontaneous cycle,all the cases' antral follicles,the ovarian volume,peak systolic velocity (PSV),resistance index (RI),pulsatility index(PI) were measured by transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound.Results The antral follicles,varian volume and PSV of diseased side in group A were lower than those of the other side(P ＜0.05).The antral follicles,varian volume and PSV of diseased side in group A were lower than those of other groups (P ＜0.001).The PI and RI of diseased side in group A were higher than those of the unaffected side.The PI and RI of two sides in group B and C were not significantly different(P ＞0.05).Conclusions Salpingectomy affects the ovarian reserve function.Methotrexate and conservative surgery could not reduce the ovarion reserve.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of p63, p73 proteins and the development of hemangioma. Methods The immunohistochemical technique and quantitative image analysis were used to detect the expression of p63 and p73 proteins in 40 cases of capillary hemangioma and 20 specimens of normal skin. Results The absorbance value (mean ? SD) of p63 and p73 expression in normal skin tissue, proliferative phase of hemangioma and involuting phase of hemangioma were 0.923 ? 0.191 and 0.953 ? 0.120, 8.271 ? 1.953 and 6.408 ? 2.151, 0.920 ? 0.187 and 1.073 ? 0.516, respectively. The expression of p63 and p73 in proliferative phase of hemangioma was significantly increased as compared with those in involuting phase of hemangioma and normal skin tissue (P 0.05). Conclusions It is suggested that p63 gene is not a tumor suppressor gene but an oncogene in hemangioma and may contribute to the proliferation of endothelial cell and be associated with angiogenesis, and p73 may play an important role in the proliferation of hemangioma.

Two Pseudomonas strains, K80 - B and K80 - A, can use hydrocarbon as carbon source by two different mechanisms. Different effects can be observed when they are applied to 69-8 oil of Dagan Oil Field. The strain K80-B producing both hydrocarbon pseudosolubilizing factor and hydrocarbon emulsifying factor can decrease the viscosity and solidifying point of the 69-8 oil 51.6% and 2℃ respectively. Whereas the other can only decrease 43.5% and 3℃ respectively. When the two strains are mixed, synergistic effect on crude oil is obvious.

An iodine analysis instrument with sequential injection of urine samples was developed. A method for measurement of urine iodine was also developed by combining sequential injection and catalysis kinetics,and making use of catalysis facilitation of the iodine in the redox reaction of As~(3+) and Ce~(4+) . The sequential injection and stopped-flow stabilization determination were made possible by the program-controlled injector with controlled flow rate and the 16-hole program-controlled selection valves. The arsenic-cerium reaction with iodine-catalyzed at constant temperature state might proceed with the constant temperature flow cell. Using the syringes with program-controlled velocity,pushing and suction,Using the digital connected circuit and micro-iodine determination software,the reaction temperature of (32.0±0.1)℃,injection time of 45 s,stabilization time of 60 s,detection time of 20 s,injection volume of 400μL,linear range of 15 -600μg/L,detecting limitation of 5.01 μg/L(n=11) and recovery rate of 94. 1 % - 105. 1 % were obtained. With this method,the detecting result of the National Standard Reference (GBW09109 and GBW09110) materials was within a given standard range. Through this method,the detecting results had no significant differences comparing with those by standard method of National Health Service(P >0.05).

Objective To observe the effects of losartan and amlodipine on blood pressure,plasma levels of leptin,adiponectin and norepinephrine (NE) and insulin sensitivity in obese hypertensive patients.Methods The levels of plasma leptin and adiponectin were determined by RIA and the plasma NE level was assayed by high- performance liquid chromatography.Insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR) was evaluated using the homeostasis model.Results Compared with basal levels,after 16-weeks' therapy,plasma leptin,HOMA-IR and body mass index were significantly decreased in losartan group [(35.6?18.5 vs 32.0?17.1)?g/L,P
