Objective:To explore the clinical effect of intravenous immunoglobulin combined with conventional therapy in the treatment of severe pneumonia in infants and children.Methods:Selected the January 2015 to April 2016 in our hospital for treatment of 88 cases of children with severe pneumonia were retrospectively analyzed,which 47 cases by routine treatment plus intravenous immunoglobulin protein (treatment group),41 cases of children only take routine therapy (control group),with a course of 2 weeks.Results:The symptoms of fever,dyspnea,cough,wheezing,pulmonary rales were improved faster in the treatment group than the control group (P＜0.05);after 2 weeks of treatment,IgG levels were significantly higher in the treatment group than the control group(P＜0.05);after 2 weeks of treatment,the serum IL-6 and TNF-α levels were significantly lower in the treatment group than the control group(P＜ 0.05);after 1 week of treatment,57.45％ of patients was cured in the treatment groups while only 34.15％ patients in the control group (P＜0.05).Conclusion:Intravenous immunoglobulin combined with conventional therapy in the treatment of infants with severe pneumonia can significantly improve the theraputic effect and enhance blood immunoglobulin levels.

The protective effects of Nifedipine, Aspirin and Aspirin combined with Nifedipine on acute myocardial ischemia induced by pi-tuitrin in rats were studied, when 20% Alcohol (2ml/kg), Nifedipine (0.05 mg/kg) and Aspirin (0.025mg/kg) was singly used, no remakable effects were observed on the indexes of ischemic ECG of the experimental rats. When Nifedipine (0.1mg/kg) or Aspirin (0.05mg/kg) was used singly, or they were used in combination (0.05 + 0.025mg/kg ); The significant counteractions were observed on the changes in ST segments and T waves in the first and second phases of the rats ECG caused by pituitrin, and the occurrence of decrease of heart rate and arrhythmia were prevented. The doses were correlated with the effects. The two drugs used in combination showed noticeable synergism.

Objective To explore the influence on the expression of elF4E and heparanase by antisense oligodeoxyribonucleotides (ASODN) transfection in human bladder carcinoma BIU-87 cells.Methods After transfecting the 2.5,5.O,7.5 μg/ml eIF4E ASODN into BIU-87 cells,at 24 h,48 h and 72 h,a cell control group (no transfection),a blank control group (empty liposomes) and a non-sense control group (transfected with non-sense ASODN) were established.The expression of eIF4E,HPA and mRNA were detected by in situ hybridration.The expression of eIF4 and HPA protein were detected by immunocytochemistry.SPSS 13.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis.Results The expression quantity of eIF4E protein and mRNA were lower in the experimental groups ( protein:2.5 μg/ml ASODN treated 24 h,48 h,72 h were:3.55 ±0.52,3.52 ±0.51,3.22.±0.44 respectively; 5.0 μg/ml group:3.43 ±0.47,3.41 ± 0.46,3.19 ± 0.41 respectively ; 7.5 μg/ml group:2.36 ± 039,2.33 ± 0.37,2.05 ± 0.30 respectively.mRNA:2.5 μg/ml treated 24 h,48 h,72 h were:3.19 ±0.41,3.13 ±0.39,2.90 ±0.38 respectively ; 5.0 μg/ml group:3.07 ± 0.39,2.94 ± 038,2.27 ± 0.37 respectively ; 7.5 μg/ml group:2.22 ± 037,2.06 ± 0.30,1.95 ± 0.29 respectively.All data were less than those in the control groups (P ＜0.05).The expression quantity of HPA protein and mRNA were lower in experimental groups (protein:2.5 μg/ml ASODN treated 24 h,48 h,72 h were:4.44 ±0.55,4.40 ±0.54,3.99 ±0.52 respectively; 5.0 μg/ml group:4.41 ±0.55,4.21 ±0.53,3.77 ±0.50 respectively; 7.5 μg/ml group:4.02 ±0.52,3.98 ±0.52,2.32 ±0.37 respectively.mRNA:2.5 μg/ml treated 24 h,48 h,72 h were:4.12 ±0.51,3.75 ± 0.50,3.63 ± 0.45 respectively ; 5.0 μg/ml group:4.00 ± 0.51,3.71 ± 0.50,3.54 ± 0.44respectively ; 7.5 μg/ml group:3.87 ± 0.52,3.61 ± 0.49,2.08 ± 0.30 respectively).All data were less than in control groups ( P ＜ 0.05 ).There was a positive correlation on expression of HPA protein and eIF4E protein by inhibitory effect of eIF-4E ASODN (protein r=9.23,mRNA r=9.59,P ＜0.01).Conclusion eIF-4E ASODN might be used to inhibit the expression of eIF-4E gene and HPA gene in bladder cancer BIU-87 cells.

Objective To investigate the effects of mirror therapy supplemented with motor imaging training on the upper extremity functions of hemiplegic stroke patients and on their ability in the activities of daily living (ADL).Methods Forty-four stroke patients were divided into a control group and an experimental group with 22 patients in each.All were given routine rehabilitation treatment.In addition,the experimental group was given 30 minutes of mirror therapy daily supplemented with 15 minutes of motor imaging training.The control group was given routine occupational therapy.All the patients were assessed with Brunnstrom staging,the functional test for the hemiplegic upper extremity-Hong Kong (FTHUE-HK) and the Barthel index (BI) scale before therapy and after 6 weeks.Results After 6 weeks of treatment,both groups showed significant improvements in upper limb function,hand function,and ADL ability.There were significant intra-group differences and significant differences between the experimental and control groups in terms of Brunnstrom staging,FTHUE-HK scores and BI scores.Conclusions Mirror therapy supplemented with motor imaging training can benefit patients suffering hemiplegia in improving their upper limb functioning and their ADL ability.

Objective To study the role Erk/Slug signal pathway in the radiosensitivity of MDAMB-231 cells.Methods MDA-MB-231 cells were transfected with NF-κBp65 siRNA,PUMA siRNA and Slug siRNA respectively or treated with U0126 for 24h,then the cells were irradiated with 4 Gy γ-ray.At different time points post-irradiation,the expressions of Erk1/2,NF-κBp65,Slug and PUMA protein were detected.The cell survival rate and apoptotic index were detected by MTT and TUNEL methods.Resluts Compared with 4 Gy irradiated group,the expression of PUMA was reduced in NF-κB p65 siRNA/4 Gy group,the expressions of Slug and Erk1/2 were obviously decreased but PUMA increased in U0126/4 Gy group,the expression of Erk1/2 had no change but the expression of PUMA increased significantly in Slug siRNA/4 Gyγ group.Meanwhile,at 48h post-irradiation,for U0126/4 Gy group and Slug siRNA/4 Gy group,cells survival rates were decreased to 19.78 ±2.71 (F=11.39,P＜0.05) and 17.41 ±4.58(F=15.31,P＜0.05),cell apoptosis rates were 28.61 ±4.70 (F=9.84,P＜0.05) and 27.55±6.41(F =10.31,P ＜ 0.05),respectively.At 24 h post-irradiation,for NF-κB p65 siRNA/4 Gy group and PUMA siRNA/4 Gy group,cell survival rates approached to 85.65 ± 9.60 (F =12.31,P ＜ 0.05) and 87.53±11.50 (F=13.68,P＜0.05),and cell apoptosis rates declined to 3.28 ±0.78 (F=10.83,P ＜ 0.05) and 3.46 ± 0.84 (F =9.92,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions The radiosensitivity of MDA-MB-231cells was relative to the induction of NF-κB up-regulated PUMA,and the radioresistance was caused by the up-regulation of Slug induced by Erk1/2,which inhibited the expression of PUMA.

Euphorbia lathyris (Caper spurge) is a toxic and potent Chinese materia medica (T/PCMM).This study sought a method for identifying five diterpenoids (Euphorbia factors L1-L3,L7a and L8) with the spectra of UV and mass,quantifying three diterpenoids L1,L2,and L8 in crude extracts of unprocessed and processed E.lathyris seeds by liquid chromatography/electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-MS).The analysis was achieved on an Agilent Eclipse XDB-C18 column (4.6 mm × 150 mm i.d.,5 μm) with an isocratic elution with a mobile phase consisting of water and acetonitrile at a flow rate of 0.25 mL/min at column temperature of 30 ℃ and UV detection was set at 272 nm.An ESI source was used with a positive ionization mode.The calibration curve was linear in the ranges of 9.9-79 μg/mL for Euphorbia factor L1,3.8-30.5 μg/mL for Euphorbia factor L2,and 1.0-20.6 μg/mL for Euphorbia factor L8.The average recoveries (n=6) of three diterpenoids were 98.39％,91.10％ and 96.94％,respectively,with RSD of 2.5％,2.4％ and 2.1％,respectively.The contents of the three diterpenoids in processed E.lathyris seeds were 3.435,1.367 and 0.286 mg/g,respectively,which decreased more sharply than those in unprocessed E.lathyris seeds which were 4.915,1.944 and 0.425 mg/g,respectively.The method is simple,accurate,reliable and reproducible,and it can be applied to control the quality of unprocessed and processed E.lathyris seeds.

Objective To explore the rules of early pregnancy related hormone changes in different pregnancy outcomes.Methods Three hundred and fourteen women at early pregnancy women were selected as our subjects.And they were followed up until 3 months of gestation.chemiluminescence analysis was used to test serum human chorionic gonadotropin (β-HCG),progesterone,estradiol and testosterone levels all pregnant women.According to the pregnancy outcome,clinical symptom and body mass index,all subjects were divided into normal and abnormal group.Results Among 314 cases of early pregnancy women,the normal pregnancy group was 53.18％ (167/314) and the abnormal pregnancy were 46.82％ (147/314).While in abnormal pregnancy group,women with the threatened abortion and continues pregnancy were 102 cases(69.39％),with inevitable abortion group were 29 cases (19.73％),and with embryos diapauses were 16 cases (10.88％).Serum estradiol level of cases in normal pregnancy group was (3104.6 ± 1507.1) pmol/L,higher than that in threatened abortion and continues pregnancy,threatened abortion group and inevitable abortion group((2 361.0 ±1 057.9) pmol/L,(1 250.0 ±624.5) pmol/L,(1 465.7 ±724.4) pmol/L)),and the differences were statistically significant(P ＜ 0.05).In normal pregnancy group,the level of serum β-HCG,estradiol and testosterone were positively correlated with gestational age (r =0.57,0.62 and 0.24 ; P ＜ 0.05).However,progesterone levels had no correlation with gestational age (r =0.15,P =0.06).Conclusion Dynamic detection of early pregnancy can guide clinicians to colytic therapy.
