Military Medical Sciences 2016;40(3):221-225
Objective To verify the antibacterial activity of the conserved domain derived from the novel human antimicrobial peptide-hGlyrichin .Methods Bioinformative analysis was performed and two peptides derived from hGlyrichin were synthesized which contained the conserved domain .Results Analysis of antimicrobial activities showed that these two peptides exhibited strong antibacterial activity which was inversely proportional to the length of the peptide within an eligible range.Despite the effective inhibition and killing of bacteria , the synthetic peptide segments had no hemolytic effect on human red blood cells .Conclusion These results indicate that a conserved domain exists in hGlyrichin , and that the peptides which contain this domain have strong antibacterial activity but are not toxic to human somatic cells .

ObjectiveA general experiment platform of electrical impedance tomography(EIT) based on field programmable gate array(FPGA) was designed to meet the requirements of EIT digital measurement.A digital current source and the research on digital demodulation method was completed.MethodsFor construction of the experiment platform,DDS module,D/A and A/D interface module, digital demodulation module and RS-232 communication module were all integrated in one FPGA chip.ResultsThe source can provide multi-frequency excitation signals of 2 mA in the range of 6.1-390.6 kHz.The output impedance of the source was higher than 190 kΩ.Both the real and the virtual information of measured impedance could be extracted.ConclusionMeasurements based on bioimpedance-equivalent circuit model verified the validity of the platform. The research results of this paper provides a foundation for the construction of a practical EIT system.

International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2011;34(2):82-85
Objective The Hilbert- Huang transformation (HHT) method was introduced to process the bio-impedance gastric motility signals from subjects. Methods Nonlinear and non-stationary original gastric motility series were decomposed into a number of intrinsic mode function (1MF) components by the empirical mode decomposition method (EMD).Hilbert transformation was carried out then and instantaneous frequency was extracted effectively.Gastric motility signal among 0.03-0.06 Hz was reconstructed from the IMF.Results The results suggested that HHT was a new and applicable time series analysis method based on mode decomposition and could extract impedance signal and remove the disturbances such as blood flow and breathing. Conclusion The new adaptive mode decomposition-based signal processing method provides a new method to investigate clinical gastric motility information.

Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 1995;0(10):-
Effect of tetracaine on the lipid fluidity of synaptosomal membrane were studied by using 8-anilinonaphthalene-1-sulfoacid (ANS) as a fluorescent probe and acetylcholinesterase (Ach E) activity. Ach E activity of rat brain synaptosmal membrane was slightly incresed at low concentration (

Chinese Journal of Immunology 1985;0(02):-
Objective:To explore antitumor mechanism of a recombinant vaccinia virus expressing human carcinomembryonic antigen(rV CEA).Methods:C57bl/6 mice were immunized three times with rV CEA.Six weeks later, the splenocytes from rV CEA immunized donors were adoptively tranfered in sublethally irradiated CEA + HePa bearing recipients, meanwhile the antiumor effect of the donor splencytes in virtro was detected. Results:Splenocytes from rV CEA immunized donors expressed strong antiumor activity in CEA positive tumorbearing recipients, whereas W VV immunized and nonimmune donor cell did not.The antiumor activity was abolished when immune T cells were depleted before splencytes transfer. Conclusion:It was demonstrated that antiumor acivity induced by rV CEA was essentially mediated by immune T cells which were activated by CEA specific immune response.Adoptive immunotherapy strategies may have implications for both the study of rV CEA and the development of potential clinical applications for tumor immunotherapy.

Journal of Modern Laboratory Medicine 2014;(5):130-131,134
Objective To explore the association between C reactive protein (CRP)with prostatic cancer (PCa)and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).Methods Retrospective analysis the 110 patients of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University In January 2010 to August 2012 whose TPSA>4 ng/ml,postoperative pathology confirmed the diagnosis of 54 cases of prostate cancer,5 6 cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia.Detected serum CRP levels by using transmission turbidim-etry and TPSA levels by using chemiluminescence immunoassay of 54 PCa and 56 BPH patients.According to the Gleason score,PCa patients were divided into high-risk and low-risk PCa two groups, the differences among high-risk PCa,low-risk PCa and BPH groups were analyzed by nonparametric statistics analysis. Results The CRP level of high-risk PCa was 4.20~2.12 mg/L,the CRP level of low-risk PCa was 1.90~0.91 mg/L and the CRP levels in BNP patients was 1.49±0.87 mg/L,the high-risk and low-risk PCa serum CRP level obviously higher than that of patients with BPH,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Serum CRP levels of PCa patients were increased significantly,espe-cially in high-risk PCa patients.

Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2020;18(1):75-82
Objective: To summarize the research status of the changes in local microenvironment of acupoints caused by acupuncture, provide theoretical guidance for the initiation mechanisms of local acupuncture effect at acupoints. Methods: Using acupuncture, acupoint as key words to search China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang Academic Journal Full-text Database (Wanfang), Chongqing VIP Database (CQVIP), PubMed and other databases, the representative articles were selected for review. Results: Acupuncture could excite afferent nerves, activate cells, and promote the release of chemical substances like neuropeptide, hormone, cytokines, etc. in the local site of acupoints. Besides, it may cause mechanical deformation of connective tissues, and change chemical ions as well as ion channels. Conclusion: The microenvironment changes around acupoints are crucial to acupuncture effect; the concept of 'acupoints network' can be used to objectively describe the local changes around the acupoints after acupuncture.

Objective To systematically compare the efficacy of three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy (3D-CRT) versus intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) in the treatment of prostate cancer (PCa).Methods Clinical comparative studies of IMRT and 3D-CRT in the treatment of PCa were collected from PubMed, EMBASE, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), and Wanfang Data after two independent researchers developed the strategy and inclusion and exclusion criteria for the literature search.Articles published up to February 2017 were searched for, and the languages of publications were restricted to English and Chinese.Clinical meta-analysis of the data from the relevant studies was performed using the RevMan5.3 software. Results A total of 15 relevant retrospective cohort studies were collected from the databases in strict accordance to the search strategy and inclusion and excluding criteria. There were 4608 PCa patients, including 2229 in the IMRT group and 2379 in the 3D-CRT group.IMRT and 3D-CRT had similar adverse effects in terms of early-stage (odds ratio[OR]=0.77, 95% confidence interval[CI]:0.43-1.40, P=0.390) and late-stage (OR=0.75, 95%CI:0.55-1.04, P=0.080) urinary tract injury. However, IMRT led to reduced early-stage (OR=0.47, 95%CI:0.27-0.82, P=0.008) and late-stage (OR=0.52, 95%CI:0.35-0.78, P=0.001) intestinal injury compared with 3D-CRT.Meanwhile, the biochemical recurrence-free survival rate was also significantly higher in the IMRT group than in the 3D-CRT group (OR=1.87, 95%CI:1.51-2.32, P=0.000).Conclusions IMRT is more protective against intestinal injury with a higher biochemical recurrence-free survival rate compared with 3D-CRT during the treatment of PCa.
