Objective: To examine the temperament of childhood epilepsy. Methods:Subjects were 84 children with epilepsy diagnosed by criteria of ILAE (international league of anti-epilepsy) 1981 and 168 normal children. Their temperament was assessed with Carey's temperament questionnaires (for parents). Results:Children with epilepsy had higher scores on activity level (3.4?0.6/3.1?0.7,t=5.38,P

Objective To study the CT and MRI imaging features of central nervous system Rosai-Dorfman disease and to enhance knowledge and differential diagnostic ability for central nervous system Rosai-Dorfman disease. Methods The CT and MRI imaging appearances in 4 cases of pathologically proven Rosai-Dorfman disease were retrospectively evaluated and the literature of central nervous system Rosai-Dorfman disease were reviewed. Results Two cases had cranial CT scans,4 cases had cranial MRI scans,On CT scans, cerebral edema was demonstrated in one case and the other case was normaL MRI scans showed the lesions were solitary in saddle area in 3 cases, and multiple in anterior cranial fossa in 1 case. The lesions exhibited iso- to hypointensity on both T1WI and T2WI images.Following intravenous injection of contrast medium,ring-like enhancement was seen in 2 cases and homogeneous enhancement in 1 case.Nodular enhancement was seen in the case of multiple lesions in the anterior cranial fosse. All lesions were dural-based.Conclusions In patients with fever, headache, elevation of the erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and a polyclonal increase in .γ-globulins,the possibility of central nervous system Rosai-Dorfman disease should be considered when single or multiple dural-based mass lesions, especially in sellar region, were identified by CT and MRI.

OBJECTIVETo obtain postoperative desirable appearance of the deformed breast we apply Mckissock reduction mammaplasty technique in treatment of giant benign breast tumor.
METHODSAccording to the principle of Mckissock reduction mammaplasty technique, we design a special incision to remove the tumor in company with the proceeding of mammaplasty.
RESULTS11 cases of operation with satisfactory results for giant benign tumors have been performed since 1993.
CONCLUSIONSStandard reduction mammaplasty technique has turned out to be an effective remedy for giant tumor spoiling the appearance of the breast.

This paper demonstrates the successful application of a novel approach to the computer aided design (CAD) of removable partial denture (RPD) framework. Firstly, we get the data of the partially edentulous cast, a mandibular Kennedy Class II, through a 3D-optical grating measuring system after corresponding pretreatment. Then, the reverse engineering software and 3D CAD software was used to design basis, big conjunction, clasp, small conjunction of the RPD framework. Finally 3D surface model of the RPD framework was created in preparation for direct manufacture using rapid prototyping (RP) methods and foundry. The result indicated that the RPD framework was fabricated successfully and the resulting frameworks provided a satisfactory fit.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) can cause great damage to the elderly patients and lead to high mortality. The clinical presentations and auxiliary examinations of the elderly patients with COVID-19 are atypical, due to the physiological ageing deterioration and basal pathological state. The treatment strategy for the elderly patients has its own characteristics and treatment protocol should be considered accordingly. To improve the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of COVID-19 in the elderly, the Expert Committee of Geriatric Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, China Society of Geriatrics established the "Expert consensus for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of coronavirus disease 2019 in the elderly" . We focused on the clinical characteristics and key points for better treatment and prevention of COVID-19 in the elderly. (1) For diagnosis, atypical clinical presentation of COVID-19 in the elderly should be emphasized, which may be complicated by underlying disease. (2) For treatment, strategy of multiple disciplinary team (mainly the respiratory and critical care medicine) should be adopted and multiple systemic functions should be considered. (3) For prevention, health care model about integrated management of acute and chronic diseases, in and out of hospital should be applied.
