DATA SOURCES: A computer-based online search of PUBMED database was undertaken to identify articles about endothelial progenitor cells being seeding cells in tissue-engineered vascular application published from January 1997 to July 2006 by using the keywords of "Endothelial progenitor cells,Tissue-engineered vascular,Tissue Engineering Blood Vessel" in English. STUDY SELECTION: The data were selected firstly, and quotation of each articles were read. Inclusive criteria: all articles related to the characteristics of endothelial progenitor cells and their progress in research and application in the tissue-engineered vascular were selected. Exclusive criteria: repetitive research or Meta articles were excluded. DATA EXTRACTION:Totally 136 articles were collected, of which 30 articles were associated with inclusive criteria. The 106 excluded articles were with old content or repetitive research. The 30 articles contained 8 articles on characteristics of endothelial progenitor cells, 14 articles about the advantages of endothelial progenitor cells as seeding cells in tissue-engineered vascular application, 8 articles on the application of endothelial progenitor cells construction in tissue-engineered vascular. DATA SYNTHESIS: ① Endothelial progenitor cells could be isolated from bone-marrow, peripheral blood, spleen and so on. They expressed CD133 and distinction from endothelial cells by CD133. Endothelial progenitor cells could transform to endothelial cells and smooth muscles, too. ② Endothelial progenitor cells could raise the density of capillary and the number of angiovascular. There were many research indicated that endothelial progenitor cells could improve ischemic, repair the injure of endocardium; Endothelial progenitor cells could improve reendothelialization, protect endomembrane, and hold the integrity of endomembrane; when incorporated with ischemic vascular, endothelial progenitor cells could improve patency rate and prevent restenosis. ③ With smooth muscle cells and some other materials, endothelial progenitor cells could widely applied in constructing tissue-engineered vascular and have a brilliant prospect in the tissue-engineering blood vessel. CONCLUSION: The research of endothelial progenitor cells will have a breakthrough in the expression of its vessel and the function in the organization remodeling. As one of the seeding cells, endothelial progenitor cells have widely origin and the powerful multiplication ability, and they have a brilliant prospect in the tissue-engineering blood vessel.

Wound healing is a complicated biological process, which consists of inflammatory cells, re-pairing cells, extracellular matrix, cell factors, et al. These factors participate in the process of wound heal-ing in great harmony and coordination. The sufferers of diabetes mellitus are vulnerable to skin injury ,which often results in non-healing or healing delay, which became an urgent difficulty and warm spot unsolved in clinic. So far, especially for the last few years, great progress has been made in the mechanism of wound non-healing of Diabetes Mellitus, mainly including signal pathways, angiopoiesis, neuropeptides, advanced glycation end products, cell apoptosis and matrix metaltoproteinases.

Chinese Journal of Infectious Diseases 1999;0(01):-
Objective To study the role of the chimeric hsp70/CD80 DNA vaccine for treatment for TB. Methods C57BL/6N mice challenged with H37Rv were immunized with the chimeric hsp70/CD80 DNA vaccine, hsp70 DNA vaccine and BCG in order to compare the therapeutic role of these vaccines. Results The levels of interferon ? (IFN-?) in the serum of mice in hsp70/CD80 group (1336.98?129.64) pg/ml was significantly higher than in group BCG (121.54?56.39) pg/ml, pcDNA3 (192.00?64.36) pg/ml and pcDNA3 hsp70 (542.33?99.77) pg/ml. The growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in live and spleen were inhibited significantly in hsp70/CD80 vaccinated mice. Conclusions The chimeric hsp70/CD80 DNA vaccine was more efficient than BCG and hsp70 DNA vaccine alone in treating TB.
7. Preparation of gastrodin starch microsphere and its nasal mucoadhesion and in vitro release characteristics
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2016;47(4):585-590
Objective: To determine the prescription technology of gastrodin starch microsphere and investigate its nasal mucoadhesion and in vitro release characteristics. Methods: Gastrodin starch microspheres were prepared by compound emulsion crosslinking method. According to the particle diameter, drug loading efficiency (DLE), and entrapment efficiency (EE), the best prescription technology was selected by using single-factor investigation and uniform design. Using toad palate mucosa as model and average residence time as indicator, mucoadhesion of gastrodin starch microsphere was evaluated. Using gastrodin API as a control, paddle method was applied to in vitro release test of gastrodin starch microspheres. The content of gastrodin was determined to calculate the cumulative release percentage. In addition, the curve of drug release in vitro was fitted with different release model to analyze the in vitro release characteristics of gastrodin starch microsphere in nasal cavity, synthetically. Results: The optimum prescription and preparation technology of gastrodin starch microsphere were as follows: gastrodin 2.0 g, starch 4.5 g, liquid paraffin 100.0 mL, Span80 3.5 g, ECH 5.1 mL, preparation temperature 40℃, and rotational speed 1000 r/min. The particle diameter of gastrodin starch microsphere was (47.69±1.92) μm, the DLE and EE of microsphere were (9.78±0.70)% and (35.72±3.28)%, respectively. It was about (176.92±23.25) s that in adhesive powder resided in nasal cavity, which translated into human nasal residence time was just 20-30 min, while the average residence time of gastrodin starch microspheres was extended to (944.33±68.29) s, translated into human nasal residence time was about 3 h. The cumulated release percent of gastrodin starch microspheres was more than 90% in 3 h. Compared with other in vitro release models, Weibull model was the fittest model to gastrodin starch microspheres, the t50 of gastrodin starch microspheres was 40.08 min, and t90 was 245.73 min. Conclusion: Gastrodin starch microspheres prepared with optimum prescription technology have uniform particle diameter, high DLE and EE. Microspheres have good mucoadhesion and sustained release, ensure that gastrodin release gently and completely during the nasal retention period.

Objective To observe the inhibitive effect of electro-acupuncture (EA)at Zusanli points (ST36)on inflammatory mediators of postoperative intra-abdominal adhesions and study the relationship between EA and cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway. Methods Forty-eight male Wistar rats were divided into 6 groups (each =8):Group A (control),Group B(abdominal adhesions model),Group C (abdominal adhesions plus EA),Group D(sham acu-point control),Group E (abdominal adhesions plus α-bungarotoxin )and Group F (abdominal adhesions plus EA after α-bungarotoxin).Animal models of abdominal adhesion were produced by Chiang’s path.Bilateral Zusanli points (ST36) and shame acupoints were electro-acupunctured at a constant voltage for 1 hour while rats were awake. The ɑ-BGT(1 μg/kg)was injected into the abdominal cavity after surgery. All the rats were sacrificed on the 3rd day,and the levels of inflammatory mediators (TNF-ɑ,NO and NOS)in tissues were evaluated. Results Three days after surgery, the damaged cecum of abdominal adhesion groups developed obvious edema that did not adhere with other tissues.Compared with sham control, the abdominal adhesion resulted in significant elevation of inflammatory mediators (TNF-ɑ,NO and NOS).EA at Zusanli points obviously lowered the elevated levels of inflammatory mediators (P <0.01 and P <0.05).EA at Zusanli points following the injection of ɑ-BGT showed less anti-inflammatory effect(P <0.01).Conclusion EA at Zusanli points significantly lowers the elevated levels of inflammatory mediators after abdominal adhesion challenge. The activation of cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway might be one of the mechanisms by which Zusanli points exert anti-inflammatory effects.

Diabetic vascular disease is a major complication of diabetes, which is characterized by the formation of collateral vessels of serious damage to systemic disease. Substantial evidence have shown that timpaired endothelial progenitor cell function, non-enzymatic glycation end products accumulate, and Wnt signaling pathway dysfunction may be an important mechanism of impaired angiogenesis after the diabeticlimb ischemic. This paper is to make a study of its mechanism, and to provides a new strategy for diabetes therapeutic angiogenesis.
