BackgroundPsychological problems such as depression and anxiety are common in pregnant women, and many studies have found that body image disturbance is closely related to depression and anxiety symptoms. Still, there is large variability in previous findings. ObjectiveTo review the researches on the relation of body image disturbance to depression and anxiety in pregnant women, and to provide a reference for interventions targeting maternal body image disturbance and depression and anxiety symptoms. MethodsOn January 10, 2023, well qualified literature focusing on the relationship between body image disturbance and depression and anxiety symptoms in pregnant women were searched in PubMed, Embase, CINAHL, Web of Science, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), VIP databases, Wanfang Data Database and China Biology Medicine disc (CBMdisc) from inception to January 1, 2023. The research content, factors influencing body image disturbance and relevant findings were extracted and summarized for analysis. ResultsA total of 14 articles were included in this review. The body image disturbance in pregnant women was manifested predominantly by an excessive concern about body weight and shape, and was affected by demographic characteristics, sociocultural factors, obstetric factors and other factors. Furthermore, body image disturbance significantly predicted the occurrence of depression, and proved a close relationship with anxiety symptoms. ConclusionBody image disturbance seriously affects the physical functioning and psychological status of pregnant women and may further exacerbate the symptoms of depression and anxiety.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the situation of knowledge-attitude-practice of medication (shorted for medication KAP) of elderly patients with chronic diseases and its relationship with depression mood. METHODS: Through using scale of medication KAP in elderly adults with chronic diseases and Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS), a face to face questionnaire survey was conduceed among elderly patients with chronic diseases examined in two community service centers of Lanzhou. The Pearson correlation analysis was used to verify the correlation between the score of medication KAP and the score of depression mood, and multivariate stepwise linear regression was used to analyze the influential factors (including the items in the general data table and depression mood with statistical significance after single factor analysis) of the score of medication KAP. RESULTS: Totally 300 questionnaires were sent out, and 289 valid questionnaires were returned with effective feedback rate of 96.3%. The results of questionnaire investigation showed the average score of the KAP was (31.12±6.20); the scores of medication knowledge, attitude and practice was (18.39±4.85), (3.18±1.24) and (9.55±2.08), respectively. The average score of depression mood was (39.99±6.06), compared with 48.4% (140 patients) with depressive symptoms. Pearson correlation analysis showed that the score of medication knowledge (r=-0.356), the score of medication compliance (r=-0.465) and the score of medication KAP (r= -0.490) were negatively correlated with depression mood (all P<0.01). Multiple stepwise regression analysis indicated that the score of the KAP were affected by depression mood and demographic factors including family occupation, detailed monthly income in a family, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS: In the community, the level of the medication KAP in elderly patients is mainly affected by depression mood and also by demographic factors. In the work of health care education for elderly patients with chronic diseases, medical staff should pay more attention to patients with depression mood and timely take targeted nursing measures to improve the level of the medication KAP.

This case report summarizes the experience from diagnosis and treatment of a patient with repeated high fever, hepatosplenomegaly and pancytopenia. Following exclusion of bacterial, viral, fungal infections and hematological diseases, metagenomic next-generation sequencing of the patient’s peripheral blood revealed Leishmania infantum infection, and rK39 rapid diagnostic test showed positive for anti-Leishmania antibody, while microscopic examination of bone marrow smears identified Leishmania amastigotes. Therefore, the case was definitively diagnosed as visceral leishmaniasis, and given anti-infective treatment with sodium antimony gluconate and hormone, hepatoprotection, elevation of white blood cell counts and personalized nursing. Then, the case was cured and discharged from hospital. Metagenomic next-generation sequencing is of great value in etiological detection of fever patients with unknown causes, which deserves widespread clinical applications.

Qingkailing Injection is one of the most commonly used traditional Chinese medicine injections with significant clinical application for the treatment of multiple diseases. This study aims to analyze the systematic reviews( SRs) of Qingkailing Injection,in order to provide reference for the clinical application of Qingkailing Injection and the development of relevant clinical practice guidelines. We searched CNKI,CBM,Wanfang,VIP,Pub Med,Cochrane Library and EMbase to collect SRs from the time of database establishment to August 2020. The eligible SRs were included according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. AMSTAR 2 was used to assess the methodological quality. The diseases, drugs in combinations and results were extracted and analyzed. A total of 24 SRs were selected, including 10 for the treatment of acute cerebrovascular diseases,9 for respiratory infections,2 for viral hepatitis,1 for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and two for the adverse effects of Qingkailing Injection. Only three entries of AMSTAR 2 item were fully reported by over 70%,and the rest were reported by less than 70%,with no report about item 2,3 and 10. Twenty-nine outcome indicators were correlated with the included SRs,of which three mostly frequent outcomes were effectiveness, adverse reaction, and neurological deficit scores, showing a good efficacy of Qingkailing Injection. The common severe adverse reaction was anaphylaxis, and mild adverse reactions were skin and mucous membrane reactions. The most frequently combined drug was antibiotics, mainly Penicillin and Penicillin+Pioneeromycin. The existing evidences showed that the methodological quality of SRs of Qingkailing Injection needed to be improved and Qingkailing Injection had an obvious efficacy. However, the selection of outcome indicators for clinical trials and SRs shall be standardized, and the reporting of basic information, such as drug combination, shall be strengthened to provide more powerful clinical services.
