Objective To explore an easier method to get epithelial cell and fibroblast from a rabbit' s trachea for trachea tissue engineering in vitro. Methods Digest the epithelial cell and fibroblast by trypsin after co-culture for 6 days. Distinguish these two kinds of cells according to their different tolerances to trypsin and culture characteristics. The new method and the traditional method were compared by the proliferation of the cells with cell counting and MIT assay. Results The purity of the cells got with this new method is up to 100% . The cells proliferation is as same as that cultured by traditional methods. Conclusion With this method, one can get two kinds of different cells from the original in one time, it is easier to practice than the traditional.

The inclusion compound of amylose and salicylic acid (SA) was prepared by a sealed temperature control method, and the formation of the inclusion compound was confirmed by IR spectrum and powder X-ray diffraction. The kinetic parameters of dissociation of amylose/SA compound were studied by the nonisothermal method which was defined as a relationship between the dissociation ratio and time. The values of activation energy (Ea) and frequency factors (InA) were calculated by a nonlinear least-square method. In this study, the formation of the inclusion compound of amylose/SA was confirmed by IR spectrum powder X-ray diffraction. SA existed in a molecule form in the spiral stouction of amylose. The dissociation of amylose/SA compound was attributed to first order reaction. The values of Ea calculated by the nor-isothermal method were 21.71 and 22.41 kJ x mol(-1) at heating rate 5 and 10 degrees C x h(-1), respectively. The corresponding isothermal method value of Ea was 22.17 kJ x mol(-1); the calculated InA values were 9.32 and 10.08 at heating rate 5 and 10 degrees C x h(-1), respectively. The corresponding isothermal method lnA value was 9.26. The results were in good agreement with Ea values and lnA values by isothermal method. These results indicated that the non-isothermal method described in this study could be adequately used for the stability study of inclusion compound and was a rapid and accurate method for the determination of kinetic parameters.

AIM:To establish the qualitative and quantitative analysis of salidroside and p-tyrosol in Hongjingtian Injection(Radix et Rhizoma Khodiolae crenulatae).METHODS:The identification of salidroside and p-tyrosol were performed by TLC.Two components were determined by HPLC.RESULTS:The TLC method was suitable for the identification of salidroside and p-tyrosol with good reproducibility. The average recoveries of salidroside and p-tyrosol were 97.6% and 99.1% with RSD of 1.10% and 2.69%(n=5),respectively.CONCLUSION:This convenient, sensitive, reliable method can be used as qualitative and quantitative analysis of salidroside and p-tyrosol in Hongjingtian Injection.

The purpose of the present study is to use beta-cyclodextrin polymers (beta-CDP) with different cross-linked degree (CLD) to form inclusion complexes with ibuprofen and examine the effects of structural and compositional factors of beta-CDP on its drug loading and release behaviors. A series of beta-CDP with different CLD were synthesized and characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR) and 13C NMR spectrum. The beta-CDP was systemically characterized for the relation between the CLD of beta-CDP and the drug loading and release as well. The results of FT-IR and 13C NMR showed that similar peak-shaped vibration of beta-CDP and beta-CD implies that the polymer keeps the original characteristic structure of beta-CD. The CLD of the beta-CDP played a critical role in the drug loading and release, increasing the CLD resulted in reduction of drug loading, but increase in drug release.

Objective To investigate a local outbreak of dengue fever in 2019 in a city village in Yong'an City, determine its characteristics, and evaluate the effect of countermeasures. Methods Epidemic characteristics of the outbreak were analyzed by descriptive analysis, and the effect of countermeasures was evaluated using the number of new cases and the change in mosquito vector density. Results The density of mosquito vectors in the core areas of the epidemic areas was gradually reduced by implementing multiple countermeasures. The Braitu index decreased below the threshold of dengue fever transmission. After the longest incubation period of the last case, there was no further case of dengue fever. The outbreak ended on 28th November. Conclusion This is a local outbreak of dengue fever. Comprehensive measures should be implemented to control the epidemic by principally eliminating adult mosquitoes and clearing mosquito breeding grounds, be supplemented by isolation and treatment of cases.

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2011;31(11):993-997
OBJECTIVETo investigate the mechanism of retained needling and non-retained needling on the physiologic regulating effect of the cardiac autonomic nerve in healthy persons.
METHODSSixty volunteers were randomly divided into a retained needling group and a non-retained needling group, 30 cases in each group. They were all received perpendicular needling at Neiguan (PC 6) and Jianshi (PC 5) retaining for 20 min in the retained nee dling group and without retaining in the non-retained needling group. The heart rate variability (HRV) indices, i.e., R-R interval, low frequency (LF), high frequency (HF) and LF/HF were observed.
RESULTSCompared with before acupuncture, the R-R interval were significant increased during the stimulation period and during the post-stimulation period in the retained needling group, especially during the stimulation period (all P < 0.01), and during the post-stimulation period of 5 min and 10 min in the non-retained needling group (P < 0.01, P < 0.05), then returned to pre-acupuncture level quickly, and the R-R interval in the retained needling group was significant ly higher than that in the non retained needling group at 10 min (P < 0.05). At 5 min, the HF were significantly higher, and the LF/HF were significantly lower than those before acupuncture (P < 0.01, P < 0.05), and there was no obvious change in LF in both groups.
CONCLUSIONRetained needling and non-retained needling at Neiguan (PC 6) and Jianshi (PC 5) can both excite cardiac vagus nerve briefly and then the acupuncture effects reduce grad ually until disappearance, while no obvious changes can be found with cardiac sympathetic activity. Both of needling can reduce heart rate and the action time of heart rate decrease by retained needling is longer than non-retained needling.

To study the effects of surfactants on wettability of excipients, the contact angles of six types of surfactants on the surface of two common excipients and mixture of three surfactants with excipients were measured using hypsometry method. The results demonstrated that contact angle of water on the surface of excipients was associated with hydrophilcity of excipients. Contact angle was lowered with increase in hydrophilic groups of excipient molecules. The sequence of contact angle from small to large was starch < sodium benzoate < polyvinylpyrrolidone < sodium carboxymethylcellulose < sodium alginate < chitosan < hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose
