The diagnosis of peripheral T cell lymphoma is difficult due to the varying size and shape of the neoplastic lymphoid cells and the frequent admixture of nonneoplastic mature lymphyocytes, histiocytes, eosinophils, and plasma cells. We report a case of peripheral T cell lymphoma, lymphoepithelioid cell type, which was difficult to differentiate from tuberculous lymphadenitis due to the aggregates of epithelioid histiocytes mimicking granuloma and the past history of pulmonary tuberculosis. Fine needle aspiration cytology of the inguinal lymph node in a 63-year-old male was characterized by hypercellular aspirates composed of a mixture of small and intermediate-size lymphoid cells and large lymphoid cells with background of confluent epithelioid histiocytes. The neoplastic lymphocytes demonstrated significant nuclear irregularity with protrusion and indentations of the nuclear membrane, prominent nucleoli, and frequent mitotic figures. The diagnosis of peripheral T cell lymphoma was confirmed by histological and immunohistochemical studies.

5.Organized hematoma of temporomandibular joint

Imaging Science in Dentistry 2018;48(1):73-77
Organized hematoma is a pseudo-tumorous lesion mostly occurs at sinonasal cavity and often confused with malignant neoplasm. The initiation of this lesion is blood accumulation, probably due to trauma, and this hematoma develops into organized hematoma as it encapsulated with fibrous band and neo-vascularized. Since it is uninformed at temporomandibular joint (TMJ) region, imaging diagnosis might be challenging. Also, delayed detection of mass involving TMJ is not uncommon due to confusion with joint disorder. Thus, this report introduced the rare pathology, organized hematoma on TMJ with advanced imaging features. Also, diagnostic point for early detection was described for the TMJ tumors and pseudo-tumors considering complexity of surgical intervention in this region.

In 25 aortic regurgitation patients relationship between degree of aortic regurgitation graded by 2-D color Doppler echocardiography and diastolic fluttering of anterior mitral leaflet on M-mode echocardiography was evaluated. The results were that all 13 aortic regurgitation patients, not associated with mitral stenosis, showed diastolic fluttering of anterior mitral leaflet; but only 3 patients among 12 patients (25%), associated with mitral stenosis, had characteristic mitral fluttering. On the whole, regardless of associated mitral stenosis, the sensitivity was 64%. In severe aortic regurgitation (Grade 3, 4 group) 12/13 patients revealed diastolic fluttering of anterior mitral leaflet (sensitivity of 92%); in mild to moderate aortic regurgitation (Grade 1, 2 group), only 4/12 patients (sensitivity of 33%). In conclusion, 2-D color Doppler echocardiography is a very useful method for detection of aortic regurgitation without difficulty. And in aortic regurgitation, not associated with mitral stenosis, fine fluttering of anterior mitral leaflet is a very sensitive sign of existence of aortic regurgitation, though there may be some false positive findings in normal individuals.

Journal of the Korean Society of Biological Psychiatry 2014;21(4):161-167
OBJECTIVES: This study aims to investigate possible associations between proneness toward smartphone addiction and certain psychopathological variables to evaluate the psychopathological meaning of smartphone addiction. METHODS: Questionnaires were assigned to 755 adults between September and November 2012. We used the Korean Smartphone Addiction Proneness Scale (SAPS), the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), the Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), the Obsessive-Compulsive Inventory-Revised (OCI-R), and the Barratt Impulsivity Scale-11 (BIS-11). Subjects were classified into two groups according to the scores of the SAPS ; the addiction proneness group and the normal-user group. RESULTS: The addiction proneness group had significantly higher scores than the normal-user group in the BDI, BAI, OCI-R, and BIS-11. The scores of the SAPS were positively correlated with the scores of the BDI, BAI, OCI-R, and BIS-11. Using logistic regression analysis, smartphone addiction proneness showed a significant association with BIS-11. CONCLUSIONS: The results of this study suggest that smartphone addiction proneness may be associated with depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, and impulsivity. Furthermore, impulsivity could be a vulnerability marker for smartphone addiction proneness.

9.Model Development a Womens' Health Care Center in the Community.

Journal of Korean Academy of Nursing 2000;30(5):1195-1206
The purpose of this study was to analyze womens' health problems using Green & Kreuter's 1991 PRECEDE model and to develop a model for a womens' health care center located in the community. The subjects were recruited from Wonju City. 1. The results showed that 23% of the sample population felt there was a need for a womens' health care center. The mean number of health problems was 3.1. The prevalence rate, was 44.4%, and the rate for an artificial abortion, was 36.4%. Also 30.5% did not have a health examination in the past year. Women using the hospital for medical care accounted for 45% of the sample, while 40% used the drugstore. The average score on the HPLP was 2.41, and this was influenced by self-efficacy, family support, sexual role, and health locus of control. There are a few educational programs in the city provided by the Wonju Health Center and by community health nurse practitioners. 2. The nursing center, as defined in North America, is a nurse-anchored system of primary health care delivery or neighborhood health center. Centers offer various services ranging from primary care to the more traditional such as education, health promotion, wellness screening, and coordination of services by advanced practice nurses. For examples in Sweden MCH centers provide total services for childbearing women and their families, sexual counseling and education for adolescents, and screening by midwives for cervical cancer. 3. The developed model combines purpose, target population, organization, and services, and is related to health resources. The purpose is primary health care and promotion of the quality of life. The target population can be grouped according to the life cycle, (premarriaged age group, the childbearing/child rearing age group, and middle aged and elderly women) and focuses on self-help. The organization of the center includes an advisory committee to plan and evaluate, and a health services team that will be multidisciplinary to provide health care, counseling education, and research. The model development suggested that a variety of women's health care centers are needed to insure adequate management of women's health. Follow-up research using PROCEED is needed to analyze health outcomes. Also a health nursing specialist system is required to develop health promotion, and improve the quality of life of women.

Journal of Korean Neuropsychiatric Association 2005;44(6):690-699
OBJECTIVES: The object of this study was to examine the effectiveness of Qigong-based stress management program in patients with anxiety disorder. METHODS: An 8-week controlled clinical trial compared 24 patients with anxiety disorder assigned to a Qigong-based stress management program with 22 patients with anxiety disorder assigned to an education control program. Beck depression inventory (BDI), Spielberger trait state anxiety inventory (STAI), Hamilton depression rating scale (HAM-D), Hamilton anxiety scale (HAM-A), and Symptom checklist-90-revised (SCL-90-R) were used to assess the effectiveness of Qigong-based stress management program. RESULTS: Qigong-based stress management group showed significant improvement compared to the education control group on anxiety symptoms and hostility, but Qigong group showed inconsistent findings on depressive symptoms. Qigong-based stress management group did not show significant improvement on somatization, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, interpersonal sensitivity, or phobic anxiety subscale of SCL-90-R compared to the education control group. CONCLUSION: This study showed that Qigong-based stress management program can be an effective method for patients with anxiety disorder in relieving anxiety symptoms. However, well-designed randomized controlled trials are needed before these kind of interventions.
