188Re (beta=22 MeV; gamma=155 keV; T1/2=16.9 hours) is an attractive therapeutic radioisotope which is produced from decay of reactor-produced tungsten-188 parent (T1/2=69 days). 188W has been produced from the double neutron capture reaction of 186W. 188Re can be easily obtained by elution of saline on alumina based 186W/188Re generator, which is commercially available. Complexes labelled with 188Re have been developed for the radiotherapy treatment of diseases because of the desirable nuclear properties of the radioisotope and it's chemical properties similar to those of technetium, a well established diagnostic agent.

In contrast to the nodular renal blastema which is defined by nests of primitive metanephric cells after 36 weeks of gestation, the nephroblastomatosis is characterized by neoplastic proliferation of the primitive cells. This lesion is presumed to be closely related to the development of Wilms' tumor. We report a case of bilateral nephroblastomatosis associated with Wilms' tumor in a child. This 4 1/2 year-old girl was admitted because of a 10 cm-sized round mass in the right kidney, and smaller nodules in the left kidney and the lung. After three cycles of chemotherapy and subsequent disappearance of the nodules in the left kidney and lung, she underwent a right nephrectomy and a wedge resection of the left kidney. A round Wilms' tumor mass was seen in the lower pole of the right kidney. Remaining right renal cortex showed multiple, slightly depressed gray-white nodules associated with multiple samll cysts. They were comprised of multifocal subcapsular nests of primitive nephrogenic cells with focal tubular or glomerular differentiation. They resembled fetal renal tissue. In the left kidney, similar nests of primitive cells were also noted. These lesions were interpreted as multifocal perilobar type of nephroblastomatosis.

Journal of the Korean Radiological Society 1983;19(1):242-256
Clinical and radiological observation was made on the 42 cases of childhood hydronephrosis patients admittedto Hanyang University Hospital from June, 1972 to August, 1982. Performed diagnsotic methods were exccretoryurography, retrograde pyelography, voiding cystourethrography and other advanced form of radiological methods suchas angiography or ultrasonography. The resultls were as follows; 1. The male patient were more frequent thanfemale patient and its ratio was 29:13. 2. 18 out of 42 patients were below 5 years of age and 9 of them were lessthan 1 year old. 3. Abdominal mass was the common presenting feature especially on obstructive hydronephrosis.Genitourinary symptoms or flank pain was the most frequent compliant in older children. Nongenitourinary symptomswere also noted especially in nonobstructive hydronephrosis of young children. 4. Obstructive hydronephrosis were26 cases and nonobstructive hydronephrosis were 17 cases. Pelviureteric junction was most frequent obstructionsite and intrinsic stricture was more frequent than extrinsic lesion. Vesicoureteric reflux and recurrent urinarytract infection was the frequent causes of nonobstructive hydronephrosis. 5. Both kidneys are equally affedted inall of cases. The left side was more frequently affected in obstructive hydronephrosis cases. 6. Voidingcystourethrography was performed in 14 cases and showed V-U reflux in 8 cases especially of mild nonobstructivehydronephrosis. 7. Ultrasonography was performed in 10 cases and it was the good method for diagnosis especiallywhen the abdominal mass was the presenting feature in children. 8. Most of operated cases were severe, grade IIIor IV, obstructive hydronephrosis cases. 9. Associated abnormalities affecting the genitourinary tract was foundin 17 cases. Nongenitourinary tract abnormalities were present in 20 cases especially associated with spinalanomaly.

This study was to find out whether the rendering screen difference affect to measuring distance in a CAD program according to three types of CAD programs. Materials and methods: The model presented in ISO 12836 for dental scanner evaluation was reduced by 70%. This model was repeatedly scanned 15times using Trios II (3Shape, Denmark). Using the output STL file, 3Shape CAD, inLab 15, and ExoCAD programs were used to measure the horizontal distance (H) and vertical distance (V) between adjacent point angle, and for each experiment, three groups were set according to the CAD program type. Statistical analysis was performed using One-way ANOVA test and post hoc was performed using Dunnett T3 test. Results: In the horizontal and vertical distance measurement, there was no difference in the average of the measured values between the three groups according to the CAD program (P>.05). Conclusion: There were no effect of the difference in the rendering screen in the horizontal and vertical linear distance measurements of the inlay model on the dental CAD program.
