We present a family of FSP with review of literatures. Seeligmuller (1876) and Strumpell (1880) were the first to describe familial case of spastic paraplegia characterized by progressive weakness and spasticity of the lower limbs with little or no involvement of the upper extremities. This syndrome is heterogenous in inheritance, age of onset, severity and associated signs. A pure type without complications has been named "Strumpell's FSP". We have recently experienced a case of 17 years old male who had bilateral weakness and stiffness of lower extremities, and gait disturbance with family history. Differential diagnosis, particularly with familial amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is discussed.

Hepatolithiasis is common in east Asia, but rare in the Western world. Recently, epidemiologic study on Korea gallstone disease showed that the portion of patients with hepatolithiasis among total gallstone patients is 14.1%. Hepatolithiasis is the cause of recurrent cholangitis and it is that risk factor of liver abscess, hepatic failure, or sepsis. Also, biliary cirrhosis and cholangiocarcinoma were developed from hepatolithiasis. The incidence of cholangiocarcinoma associated with hepatolithiasis is about 2.4~10% . We present three cases of unresectable cholangiocarcinoma diagnosed after removal of hepatolithiases by percutaneous transhepatic cholangioscopy.

The Journal of Korean Academy of Prosthodontics 2004;42(1):11-20
PROBLEM: The several studies were reported to the effects of individual tooth tray with the parallel tooth, but not reported to the effect of individual tooth tray with severe undercut in impression making. PURPOSE: The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of individual tooth tray; 1) the accuracy of impression in in terms of distance. 2) reproducibility of pocket. MATERIAL AND METHODS: In this study, a metal model with 3 teeth including tooth prepared 30-degree undercut and gingival crevice of the depth 5mm, width 0.4mm was cast. Impressions of the metal model were taken in 5 times used 4 kinds of impression materials with individual tooth tray and another impression taking were made with conventional method without individual tooth, used same materials, procedure. The stone models were made. Distances between abutments were measured with a Micromeasurescoup-mm. RESULT: The following results were obtained; 1. In the comparison of inter-abutment distance between parallel tooth without individual tooth tray, 4elastomeric materials have not significant difference to the metal model(p>0.05). 2. In the comparisonof inter-abutment distance with undercut tooth without individual tooth tray, 4elastomeric materials have a significant difference to the metal model(p<0.05), especially polyether's dimensional change is large. 3. If individual tooth tray was used to take impression in abutment teeth with severe undercut, more stable results was achieved easily than conventional metho.(p>0.05). 4. It is not true that the pressure of impression material with individual tooth tray increased to gingival sulcus. CONCLUSION: By the results, I knew the fact that individual tooth tray was useful impression method on the teeth with severe undercut for the dimensional stability. Also, I could not confirm the fact that individual tooth tray would increase the penetrating pressure into cervice.

Korean Journal of Urology 2003;44(7):660-664
PURPOSE: The outcomes of a tubularized incised plate (TIP) urethroplasty were evaluated according to the type of middle hypospadias repair. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A total of 36 TIP urethroplasties were performed for middle hypospadias. The medical records of all patients; the level of meatus, age at surgery, outcome, complications, method of second operation and their outcomes etc, were retrospectively reviewed. The mean age of the patients at the time of the operation and the follow up period were 5 years 6 months (12 months to 43 years) and 8.8 months (3 months to 2 years), respectively. The initial types of hypospadias were distal penile in 14 patients, mid-shaft in 11 and proximal penile type in 11, repectively. RESULTS: The success rates of first operation, according to the type of middle hypospadias, were 12/14 (85.7%) in the distal penile, 8/11 (72.7%) in the mid-shaft and 9/11 (81.8%) in the proximal penile types (overall success rate: 80.6%). The complication rates with the distal penile, mid-shaft and proximal penile types were 14.3, 27.3 and 18.2%, respectively (overall complication rate: 19.4%). Urethrocutaneous fistula and retrusive meatus occurred in 4 and 3 patients, respectively. All of the urethrocutaneous fistulas were successfully covered with 3 fistulectomies and 1 TIP urethroplasty. All the retrusive meatus were repaired with a TIP urethroplasty, but only 1 case was successful. Meatal stenosis did not occur in any of the cases. Overall success rate of the second operation was 34/36 patients (94.4%). CONCLUSIONS: This preliminary experience indicated that there was no significant difference in the outcomes of a TIP urethroplasty according to the type of middle hypospadias.

Journal of the Korean Society of Biological Therapies in Psychiatry 2023;29(3):100-106
Objectives:
The purpose is to investigate personality characteristics according to reports of suicide risk among students in the 2nd step evaluation of the Student Emotional Behavior Test conducted in one district of Daegu in 2022.
Methods:
A total of 99 students’ school level, gender, and rate of suicide risk reporting were investigated, and sub-factors of Personality Assessment Inventory-Adolescent (PAI-A) were compared according to suicide risk reporting. We also analyzed the factors that have the most significant influence on suicide risk reporting among PAI-A.
Results:
There was no gender difference in suicide risk reporting, but there was a significant difference at the school level. Among the PAI-A clinical scales, significant differences between groups were found in somatic complaints (SOM), anxiety (ANX), anxiety-related disorder (ADR), depression (DEP), paranoia (PAR), borderline features (BOR), suicide ideation (SUI), nonsupport (NON) and treatment rejection (RXR). Suicide risk reporting was higher in high school students than middle school, and students with high scores of NON on the PAI-A.
Conclusions
Reports of suicide risk show differences in internalization factors of personality traits. This means that adolescents are more likely to report suicide risk as they frequently experience inherent negative emotions such as depression and anxiety or as their interpersonal relationships become strained. In addition, it can be said that identifying social networks and forming support resources are important factors in preventing self-harming or suicidal ideation that occur during early adolescence.
