Castlernan disease is a rare lymphoproliferative disorder of uncertain cause, which most commonly involves mediastinum and rarely affects retroperitoneal, axillary or cervical lymph nodes. Authors present CT the and MRI findings of a cases of Castleman disease involving cervical lymph nodes. On CT and MR. There were multiple lymph nodes enlargement with homogeneous enhancement along the bilateral internal jugular and spinal accessory lymph node chain.

3.A Study of HBsAg in Semen and Saliva (Preliminary Report).
Korean Journal of Urology 1983;24(3):387-390
A group of 68 men who visited Urology Department of Severance hospital, including 11 patients with prostatitis and 57 patients with infertility were investigated for HBsAg from the specimen of serum, saliva and semen. HBsAg was detected by using a highly sensitive radioimmunoassay technique. The following results were obtained. 1. A case of 11 patients with prostatitis (9%) and 6 cases of 57 patients with infertility (10.5%) were HBsAg-positive in serum. 2. Of the 7 cases being HBsAg-positive in serum, 5 cases were HBsAg-positive in saliva (71%) and 3 cases in semen (43%) . 3. Type B hepatitis may be transmitted by parental, oral and probably venereal routes.

Five patients with isolated avulsion fracture of the tibial attachment of the posterior cruciate ligament were treated in our hospital from September, 1975 to May, 1978. Among the five patients. one was treated conservatively and the others by surgical repair using catgut suture, cancellous bone screw fixation and staple fixation. Four patients were followed from 4 to 10 months poatoperatively. Satisfactory results were obtained in four patients (one was loat in follow up).

Journal of the Korean Pediatric Society 1978;21(11):813-816
Omphalocele is a rare congenital malformation which is a herniation of the abdominal viscera into the base of the umbilical cord. We experienced a ruptured large omphalocele of short duration which contained of intestines, stomach, liver and speen without major of additional anomalies. He was repaired with the simple skin converage as a part of second staged operation. He had an eventful postoperative course but wad discharged on the 52th postoperative days with the good condition and with the plan of repair of ventral hernia about 1 year. Here, the literature on omphalocele was reviewed with the experienced case briefly.

Korean Journal of Dermatology 1998;36(2):313-316
Favre-Racouchot syndrome is a disease of senile or actinic processes and another name is nodular elastosis with cysts and comedones. Clinically, facial skin shows, especially lateral to the eyes, multiple open and cystically dilatated comedones and can be defined as cutaneous disturbances characterized by a degenerative process of the dermis associated with cysts and comedones. Sunlight is a strong causative factor and dermal degenerative processes result in this condition. We report the case of a 78-year-old man who showed multiple yellowish papules on both sides of cheeks, the periorbital and, malar areas. He had had this condition for 25-years. His job used to involve physical labor and much exposure to sunlight. An excisional biopsy specimen from the facial malar lesion showed cystically dilated comedones with basophilically degenerated dermal tissue. We performed a therapeutic excision on the two large nodular lesions on both malar areas and applied topical tretinoin. The Patients clinical appearance was much improved 2 months later.

The employment of segmental pedicle screw instrumentation has greatly enhanced the correction of scoliotic deformity. However there is still much controversy on the ability of the system to correct the rotational deformity. This prospective study with 12 idiopathic throacic scoliosis patients subjected to segmental pedicle screw instrumentation was performed to determine the effect of the system on the rotational deformity of idiopathic throacic scoliosis. In addition to the standing films to measure the magnitude of scoliotic curvatures, preand postoperative CT were utilized for the measurement and comparison of angle of rotation relative to the sagittal plane(RAsag.), relative rotation with reference to the upper and lower end vertebrae(RAend), relative rotation with reference to the sacrum(RAsac.), frontal translation(TF) and sagittal translation(TS) for the apical vertebrae. Despite the high correction rate obtained in the frontal plane(average 71.1%) and normalization of sagittal contour, the rotational corrections were statistically insignificant in all parameters and showed no significant correlation to the correction of the curvatures nor horizontal plane displacement as represented by the frontal and sagittal displacement. In conclusions, the segmental pedicle screw instrumentation with rod derotation does not produce significant derotation by itself.

Journal of the Korean Shoulder and Elbow Society 2009;12(2):236-239
PURPOSE: We wanted to evalulate the clinical results of pectoris major tendon transfer for a neglected winged scapula that was caused by paralysis of the serratus anterior due to injury to the long thoracic nerve. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A patient had neglected winged scapula that followed an arthroscopic operation for multi-directional instability of the shoulder joint, which was caused by traumatic dislocation. The patient was treated with pectoralis major tendon transfer using the modified Eden-Lange procedure. The range of a motion was improved from forward flexion 90degrees and external rotation 70degrees to 170degrees and 150degrees respectively. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: There were no complications or recurrence and the patient's psychological satisfaction was also high. If the shoulder girdle muscles are intact, except for the serratus anterior, then pectoralis tendon transfer is a satisfactory method that can provide normal scapulo-thoracic motion.

It has been known that right side bypass tract ablation is more difficult and has higher recurrence rate than that of left side bypass tract, and often associated with atrioventricular block in patients with septal bypass tract. Multielectrode basket catheter (MBC) allows simultaneous rapid acquisition of numerous electrical signals generated by a selected surface area or volume of myocardium. We experienced two cases of successful catheter ablation of atrioventricular reentrant tachycardia by right septal bypass tract which were mapped by MBC with greater ease.

Journal of the Korean Radiological Society 1993;29(6):1266-1272
Gleno-humeral joint is a ball and socket joint. It has the greatest range of movement among all the joints of the body. The greatest range of movement is inevitably accompanied by a considerable loss in stability. Thirty-three persons underwent Double contrast CT arthrography of the shoulder for the evaluation of suspected shoulder derangement. We performed 62 shoulder arthrography(33 abnormal shoulders and 29 normal shoulders) and reviewed their findings retrospectively. They had recurrent shoulder dislocation(30 shoulders) or nonspecific shoulder pain(3 shoulders). Injury of the glenoid labrum was seen in 28 shoulders at double contrast CT arthrography. Among 28 cases of the labral injury, detachment was seen in 15 cases, labral tear in 5 cases, and labral erosion in 8 cases. Double contrast CT arthrography also showed Hill-Sachs in 20 shoulders. The numbers of type 1, type 2, and type 3 capsulolabral attachment in 33 shoulder instability cases were 10, 16, and 7, respectivity, while, 16, 12, and, 1 in 29 normal controls. Type 2 and 3 are more common in shoulder instability group than normal control group. Operation was done in 18 shoulders. Comparing with operation findings, the sensitivity of double contrast CT arthrography in the detection of Hill-Sachs defect was 100% with the specificity of 71% and the accuracy of 89%. The sensitivity, and accuracy of double contrast CT arthrography in the detection of labral injury were 94%, 100%, and 95, respectively. Double contrast CT arthrography is a minimally invasive and highly accurate technique for in the evaluation of glenohumeral instability.
