[Objective]To study the regulation effects of Oridonin on pulmonary artery pressure in pulmonary hypertension rats with hypoxia-hypercapnia and its mechanism.[Methods]SD rats were divided in to three groups randomly: the normal control group(NC),the hypoxia-hpercapnia group(HH),and the hypoxia-hpercapnia plus Oridonin group(O).The time of hypoxia-hypercapnia was 4 weeks.The mean pulmonary artery pressure(mPAP),right ventricular rate(RV/(LV+S)),percentage of thickness of pulmonary artery wall in vascular external diameter(WT%),percentage of pulmonary artery wall area in total vascular area(WA%),vitality of caspase3 and caspase9,expression cyt-c of each group were observed.[Results]The mPAP,RV/(LV+S),WT%,WA% in group HH were significantly higher than those in group NC(P

Renal scarring can cause hypertension, proteinuria, chronic kidney disease, and even end stage renal disease. To understand the risk factors of renal scarring in children is helpful for its early detection, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment. High grade vesicoureteric reflux, recurrent urinary tract infection, and delayed treatment are risk factors for kidney scarring. However, there are still some controversies about the relationship between renal scarring and the some factors such as gender, age, and congenital factors. Recent studies have found that noninvasive urine indicators such as urine neutrophil gelatinase associated lipid delivery protein, urinary endothelin-1, and risk prediction models can predict the formation of renal scar. However, prophylactic use of antibiotics can reduce occurance of urinary tract infections, but do not reduce the risk of renal scarring. This article reviews the possible risk factors and predictors of renal scarring in children, providing a basis for early detection, timely intervention, and effective prevention of it in clinic, so as to reduce the formation and progression of renal scarring.

Objective To review the relationship between the expression levels of bcl-2,bax and bad gene and other biological factors of breast cancer in the growth and development of breast cancer.Methods Related literatures were summarized and reviewed.Results The expression level change of antiapoptosis gene bcl-2 was still under research and the expression levels of apoptosis gene bax and bad were down-regulated progressively in the evolution from benign breast tissue to breast cancer tissue.The expression level of bcl-2 had positive correlation with some positive factors in breast cancer such as estrogen receptor(ER) and progesterone receptor(PR),while it had negative correlation with some negative factors such as p53,EGFR,c-erbB-2 and lymph node metastasis.The levels of ER,PR and the expression level of p53 of breast cancer had no relationship with the expression level of bax.Up to now there was no report about the relationship between the expression level of bad and other biological factors of breast cancer.Conclusion The role of altered expression level of bcl-2,in the treatment and prognosis of breast cancer is still controversial,and the relationship between the expression of bad and the prognosis of breast cancer is still unknown,but expression level of bax is correlated positively with the prognosis of breast cancer.Research on these genes can provide us some new index to evaluate the prognosis of breast cancer and new ideas on treatment of breast cancer including gene therapy.

[Objective]To explore the value of the application of the arthroscope in unicompartmental knee arthroplasty(UKA)for the patients with medial osteoarthritis of the knee.[Method]A clinical retrospective study has been done on 30 knees in 21 patients.The patients were evaluated in preoperative X-rays,physical examination,the knee society score(KSS)evalution,the presentation of arthroscopical examination as well as the ultimate operation method.[Result]Arthroscopic examination showed that the osteoarthritis were mainly located in medial compartment of the knee.Tibia terrace cartilage and condyle of femur showed outbrige Ⅲ～Ⅳ degrees degeneration.26/30(87%)of the patients showed medial menisci injury in different degree,and 4/30(13.3%)of the patients showed lateral menisci degenerated,and pathological changes of osteoarthritis were located at front medial compartment.And 19/30(63%)of the patients combined Ⅰ～Ⅳ degrees of localized or broad patellar cartilage degeneration,the lateral compartment normal or localized patellar cartilage degeneration less than Ⅱ degrees for all patients.The result of the arthroscopic examination was consistent with the preoperative clinical examination and the imaging examination.All the patients received Oxford Ⅲ prosthesis UKA by microinvasive approach and there was no case that had to change operation method due to arthroscope detection.[Conclusion]1.The main purpose for the application of the arthroscopic in UKA is to deal with other disease inside the knee rather than to confirm the indication of the operation.2.Arthroscopy is an effective way for the patients combined lateral menisci injury and other compartmental mild osteoarthritis.

By the routine electron microscopy the ultrastructure of the epididymis of 10 rats is studied.Except the principal cells,there is no significant difference in the ultrastructure of the other cell types of the epididymal epithelium between segments.The principal cell shows the ultrastructural characteristics of secretion and absorption.However,the ultrastructural characteristics of the principal cells in the proximal epididymvs show more tendency to absorbent and that in the distal epididymis show more tendency to secretory.Further-more it is observed that some halo cells are surrounded by small cells which possess long processes.Some or a few number of clear cells in the caudal epididymis contain some crystaloid inclusions in their basal cytoplasm.The presence of the fenestrated capillary in the peritubular tissue is also found.The meaning of the ultrastructures mentioned above is discussed.

The ultrastructure of the relationship between the sarcoplasmic (SR) and the intercalated disk in the atrial myocardial cells of the heart is studied. The results reveal: a coupling exists between the SR and the unspecializsd sarcolem-ma of the intercalated disk. In order to differentiate it from a general peripheral coupling it is called intercalated disk coupling. It possesses 3 morphological features of the peripheral and interior couplings, i. e., the cytoplasmic gap in coupling region is about 11-18 nm in width; the jnctional processes or junc-tional feet are located in the cytoplasmic gap; and the SR contains electronic dense material in its lumen. In the coupling region the RS membranes are not only coupling with the unspecialized membrane of the intercalated disk but also closely apposed to the external membrane of mitochondria. In addition, the gap junction-sarcoplasmic reticulum couplings are formed between the cardial gap junction and the SR. Its ultrastructural characteristics are the same as the cardial couplings. The functional significance of the couplings of the SR with the intercalated disk is discussed.

Objective: To establish an acute lung injury model by seawater aspiration in rats. Methods: Twenty-four rats were randomly allocated i nto 2 groups: control group (n=9) and model group (n=15). The acute lung injury model was established in rats by aspirating 2 ml seawater/kg body weight after 9-10 seconds of breath occlusion. The aspiration was repeated by the same means 2 min later. Rats in control group aspirated no seawater. Arterial blood gases and respiratory rates were observed before aspiration and 10 min, 30 min, 1 h, 2 h and 4 h after aspiration. The survival times of animal were also recorded. The rats were sacrificed 4 h after aspiration; the lung index, total protein (TP) contents, white blood cell (WBC) count in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF), and the pulmonary histopathology were observed. Results: Compared with control group, model group had a significantly increased respiratory rate and a decreased PaO2 (P<0.05), which subsequently rose again and remained at a lower level. The model group also had a markedly increased lung index, TP contents and WBC counts (P<0.05). Obvious edema, alveolar atrophy and inflammatory infiltration were found in model rats. Conclusion: An acute lung injury model by sea water aspiration has been successfuly established.

In the treatment of 169 cases of the patients sick with intervertebral disc hemiation by integrated application of acupuncture therapy,Chinese massage therapy and herbal fumigation method.the results showed cure in 129 cases.improvement in 33 cases and failure in 7 cases,and the total effective rate was 95.9%.

BacKground:Lymphocyte function-associated antigen-1( LFA-1 ) pIays a cruciaI roIe in the pathogenesis of infIammatory boweI disease by reguIating the activation and function of T ceIIs. Aims:To investigate the effect of LFA-1 deficiency( LFA-1-/-)on differentiation of mice na?ve T ceIIs into Th17 ceIIs in vitro. Methods:LFA-1-/- mice were breeded and the progeny genome DNA was extracted from the taiIs for genotyping by PCR. CD4+CD62L+ na?ve T ceIIs were separated from spIenic mononucIear ceIIs of LFA-1-/- progeny mice and wiId type ( WT ) C57BL/6J mice, respectiveIy,by magnetic-activated ceII sorting( MACS),and then the purity of separated ceIIs was determined. Na?ve T ceIIs obtained were cuItured in different inducing systems[ transforming growth factor-β( TGF-β),TGF-β + interIeukin-6 (IL-6),and TGF-β + IL-6 + IL-23]in vitro for Th17 ceII differentiation;ceIIs in each inducing system were coIIected for anaIyzing the ratio of Th17 ceIIs by fIow cytometry,and the expressions of Th17-specific transcription factor ROR-γt and Th17-specific marker IL-17A were measured by qRT-PCR and ELISA methods. Results:AII fifteen progeny mice were identified as LFA-1-/- genotype. Purity of CD4+CD62L+ na?ve T ceIIs separated by MACS was above 95%. Th17 ceIIs couId be induced by Iow-dose TGF-βcombined with IL-6,and the differentiation ratio was increased obviousIy when IL-23 was added. In inducing system containing TGF-β,IL-6 and IL-23,na?ve T ceIIs from LFA-1-/- mice produced more Th17 ceIIs than those from WT mice(17. 2% ± 1. 4% vs. 5. 7% ± 0. 2%,P<0. 001),expressions of ROR-γt mRNA and IL-17A mRNA were up-reguIated(P<0. 001),and IL-17A concentration in ceII cuIture supernatant was increased(P<0. 01). Conclusions:Deficiency of LFA-1 promotes the differentiation of mice na?ve T ceIIs into Th17 ceIIs in vitro.
