Objective To discuss the clinical efficacy of warm acupuncture, acupoint injection, bloodletting and electroacupuncture, and their interaction effects for acute cold type facial paralysis. Methods Totally of 48 patients with acute cold type facial paralysis were randomly divided into three groups by orthogonal experimental design, and then were assigned to 16 treatment plans. All patients received routine basic treatment, and then were given warm acupuncture, acupoint injection, bloodletting and electroacupuncture according to assigning results. 10 d were as a treatment course, with 2 d as interval, 3 treatment courses in total. The neurological function scores before and after treatment and facial nerve recovery time were recorded. Results There was statistical significance in scores of facial nerve function, warm acupuncture, acupoint injection, electroacupuncture, bloodletting had significant difference with errorterm (P<0.01). There was statistical significance in the recovery time of the facial nerve function, warm acupuncture, bloodletting compared with error term (P<0.01). Conclusion Warm acupuncture, acupoint injection, bloodletting and electroacupuncture combine with acupuncture are better for acute cold type facial paralysis. Warm acupuncture and bloodletting therapy in the acute phase of interventional therapy can shorten the recovery time of facial nerve.

Objective To explore the effect of nitric oxide(NO) on pulmonary tumor necrosis factor?(TNF?) in murine acute necrotizing pancreatitis(ANP). Method Ninety-six SD rats were randomized into four groups:normal control group, ANP group, L-Arginine(L-Arg) pretreatment group and L-NAME pretreatment group (n=24 for each group). The protein content of bronchoalveolar lavage fluids(BALF), the myeloperoxidase(MPO) of lung tissue and TNF? produced by alveolar macrophages were evaluated. The expression of TNF? mRNA was measured. ResultMPO and protein of BALF reached a peak level at 12nd hr (10.78?0.58U/g for MPO and 2011?106?g/ml for protein content respectively).TNF? peaked on the sixth hour(1624?149)pg/ml. The expression of AM TNF?mRNA also peaked on the sixth hour (1.127?0.069) along with an increase of TNF? mRNA. AIM: To research the best processing method of Rhizoma Curcumae with water.METHODS: L 9(3 4) orthogonal table are decided with three effects: moistening time, steaming time, thickness of processed pieces. According to the amount of curcumin and volatile oil, orthogonal Design is applied to water processing Rhizoma Curcumae.RESULTS: The best processing method is: Rhizoma Curcumae is moistened for 20min, then cutting up to 3mm thick after steaming 30min.CONCLUSIONS:The steaming time has no obvious effect on the amount of curcumin in Rhizoma Curcumae, but if the amount of volatile oil is taken as marker. the steaming time has obvious effect.

Objective: To establish the DNA barcode identification method of Uygur Medicine Dracocephalum mol-davica L. Methods: D. moldavica L. and its ten sibling species of twenty five samples was amplified by ITS2 se-quence, after sequencing and comparing the intraspecific and interspecific variation, we using K2P and NJ meth-ods to analysis the their relationship, then compare the secondary structure. Results: D. Moldavica (KF041160, KF041163, KF041168, KF041169) from Xinjiang without variation in intraspecies, but there are two 2 variation sites in D. moldavica (AY506659) from GenBank. By NJ method, D. moldavica can be distinguished with their sibling species. Also, D. nutans L., D. bipinnatum Rupr. and D. integrifolium Bge. can be distinguished with oth-er sibling species. Conclusion: ITS2 barcode sequence was able to identify D. moldavica and its sibling species, which provides an effective way for the molecular identification of Uygur Medicine D. moldavica.

Leaves and fruits were selected randomly from different areas to contrast morphology; Ten samples were amplified by ITS2 se-quence, combining with four ITS sequences of Platycladus orientalis obtained from GenBank, intraspecific and inter-specific variation were compared, K2P and NJ methods were utilized for analysising the relationship. The results show J. sabina cannot be distinguished with its adulterants by morphological characteristics of leaves and fruits; 14 Samples of ITS2 sequence length are 219 bp, the maximum K2P distance are 0.089. J. sabina and its 3 adulterants plant can be distinguished by the DNA barcode ITS2 sequence and NJ tree successfully. Therefore, ITS2 barcode sequence was able to identify J. sabina and its adulterants species, which provides an effective way for the molecular identification of Uygur medicine J. sabina.

Objective To evaluate the effects of sevoflurane anesthesia on the sleep architecture of rats.Methods Sixteen pathogen-free healthy male Sprague-Dawley rats,aged 10-12 weeks,weighing 300-350 g,were divided into 2 groups (n=8 each) using a random number table:control group (group C) and sevoflurane group (group S).Each rat was implanted with a transmitter for recording electromyogram and electroencephalogram via telemetry.The rats were exposed to 2.4％ sevoflurane and pure oxygen 1.5 L/min for 5.5 h followed by 0.5 h washout with pure oxygen in group S,and the rats were exposed to pure oxygen 1.5 L/min for 6 h in group C.Then the rats were taken into the sleep monitoring box,and the 24 h after anesthesia was divided into 4 time periods according to the circadian rhythm:L1 (14:00-20:00),D1 (20:00-02:00),D2 (02:00-08:00) and L2 (08:00-14:00).The total time spent on wakefulness,on non-rapid eye movement (NREM) sleep and on REM sleep,the number of wakefulness,NREM sleep and REM sleep,and the time spent on wakefulness,on NREM sleep and on REM sleep during each time period were recorded using Version 3.0 Neurosore software.Results Compared with group C,the total time spent on wakefulness was significantly shortened,the total time spent on REM sleep was prolonged,the number of NREM sleep was increased,the time spent on REM sleep in L1 and D1 time periods was prolonged,the time spent on wakefulness in D2 time period was shortened,the time spent on NREM sleep was prolonged (P＜0.05),and no significant change was found in the total time spent on NREM sleep or the number of REM sleep and wakefulness in group S (P＞0.05).Conclusion Sevoflurane anesthesia can change the stability of sleep architecture,increase REM sleep and reduce wakefulness in rats.

Objective To study the effect of chitosan-pCrmA nanoparticles on the apoptosis of chondrocytes induced by interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β).Methods Chitosan-pDNA nanoparticles were prepared and characterized.The transfection efficiency of chitosan-mediated pIRES2-EGFP was evaluated using fluorescence microscope.The cytotoxicity of chitosan-pIRES2-EGFP nanoparticles in primary rabbit chondrocytes was analyzed by MTT assay.The expression of chitosan-mediated pCrmA in primary rabbit chondrocytes was verified by Western blotting.The effect of chitosan-mediated CrmA on chondrocytes apoptosis induced by IL-1β were analyzed by TUNEL assay.One-way ANOVA was used to analysis.Results The size of chitosan-pDNA nanoparticles was 50 nm.The pDNA release of chitosan-pDNA nanoparticles appeared as biphasic release at pH 2.0 and pH 7.4 buffer.The expression of CrmA in rabbit primary chondrocytes mediated by chitosan could be detected.The chitosan-pIRES2-EGFP nanoparticles had no cytotoxicity.The apoptosis rate of chondrocytes in the chitosan-pCrmA nanoparticles treated group was significantly lower than that of the chitosan treated group (P＜0.05) and PBS group (P＜0.01).Conclsion Chitosan is an effective non-viral gene transfer vector.The CrmA mediated by chitosan can significantly inhibit chondrocytes apoptosis induced by IL-1β,suggesting that chitosan-pCrmA nanoparticles may be the treatment of osteoarthrifis.

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of chest X-ray film of pulmonary emphysema (PE)signs for infantile bronchitis.Methods Clinical data of 60 infants with bronchitis (case group)in a hospital between Janu-ary 2010 and December 2014 were analyzed retrospectively,and compared with data of 30 infants with non-respira-tory diseases (control group).Results Of 60 infants with bronchitis in case group,95.00%(57/60)showed mani-festations of PE on X-ray,and 18.33% (11/60)of whom were with mild PE(apical or intercostal pneumocele), 76.67%(46/60)were with typical PE (diaphragm descent);one case (3.33%)in control group showed intercostal pneumocele,the other 29 cases (96.67%)were normal X-ray findings and without signs of PE.The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of PE signs on chest X-ray film for diagnosing infantile bronchitis were 95.00%,96.67%, and 95.56% respectively.Conclusion Signs of PE on chest X-ray film have important diagnosis value for infantile bronchitis.
