Journal of Prevention and Treatment for Stomatological Diseases 2017;25(11):740-743
With the development of implant technology, digital implant surgical guides have been used for precise implant position, angulation and depths of insertion, bringing great advantages such as shortening the operation time, reducing the risk of surgery, flapless implantation. Meanwhile, the disadvantages can't be neglected such as complicated production process, high cost, low precision etc. This article focuses on production, classification and accuracy of the digital implant surgical guide technology.
8.Prognostic significance of high expression of thrombospondin 2 in pancreatic cancer and its effect on proliferation and migration of cancer cells
Chinese Journal of Cancer Biotherapy 2019;26(2):206-212
Objective:To explore the prognostic significance of thrombospondin 2 (THBS2) expression and its effects on the proliferation and migration of pancreatic cancerASPC-1 cells for patients with pancreatic cancer, and to investigate its possible molecular mechanism. Methods: The expression of THBS2 in pancreatic cancer tissues and its effects on overall survival rate in patients were analyzed by online database. THBS2 expression in pancreatic cancerASPC-1 cells was detected by Western Blotting; RNAinterference was used to knockdown the expression of THBS2 inASPC-1 cells, and then the effects of THBS2 knockdown on cell proliferation and migration were detected by MTT and Transwell assays, while its effects on protein expression levels (MMP, E-cadherin,AKT and PI3K) were detected by Wb. Results: Expression of THBS2 in pancreatic cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in normal pancreatic tissues (P<0.01), and the high expression of THBS2 could lead to the decrease of overall survival rate in pancreatic cancer patients. The expression of THBS2 in pancreatic cancer cell lines was significantly up-regulated; however, after interference on the expression of THBS2, the proliferation (P<0.01) and migration ability (P<0.01) of ASPC-1 cells were significantly decreased, and the expression of AKT and PI3K in cells was significantly down-regulated (P<0.01). Conclusion: THBS2 is highly expressed in pancreatic cancer tissues and cells, and is negatively correlated with the prognosis of patients. The mechanism is possibly related with the proliferation and migration of ASPC-1 cells that regulated byAKT/PI3K signaling pathway.

ObjectiveTo explore the differences in clinical characteristics between patients with HBsAg(+) and HBsAg(-)/HBcAb(+) primary hepatic carcinoma (PHC) treated by hepatectomy. MethodsForty-three HBsAg(+) and 18 HBsAg(-)/HBcAb(+) patients who underwent liver resection against PHC from October 2009 to November 2014 in Guangzhou 8th People′s Hospital were selected for the study. The clinical data of the subjects, including sex, age, histological differentiation, intravascular tumor thrombi, and hepatic cirrhosis, were compared, using t test for continuous data, chi-square test for categorical data, and Mann-Whitney U test for non-parametric data. ResultsNo significant differences existed between patients with HBsAg(+) and HBsAg(-)/HBcAb(+) PHC in terms of the age of onset (50.77±12.93 years vs 54.28±9.89 years, t=-1.031, P>0.05), the incidence of cholangiocarcinoma (2.3% vs 167%, χ2=2.24, P>0.05), the incidence of hepatic cirrhosis (62.8% vs 44.4%, χ2=1.746, P>0.05), alpha-fetoprotein level (3638±7869 ng/ml vs 3577±9628 ng/ml, t=0.026, P>0.05), histological differentiation (Z=-1.085, P>0.05), and the rate of intravascular tumor thrombi (34.9% vs 22.2%, χ2=0.949, P>0.05). ConclusionThere are no significant differences in the age of onset and progression of disease between patients with HBsAg(+) and HBsAg(-)/HBcAb(+) PHC treated by hepatectomy. However, given the possibility of occult hepatitis B virus infection, it is necessary to monitor hepatic carcinoma even post HBsAg seroconversion

Objective To investigate the effect of microRNA (miR)-138 regulation of Wnt signaling pathway on the biological behavior of human glioma cells in vitro. Methods Glioma cell lines U-87MG and U251 were selected and randomly divided into blank group, miR-NC group, miR-138 mimics group and miR-138 inhibitor group. Real-time PCR was used to detect the miR-138 expression in each group; MTT, flow cytometry, Transwell assay and scratch assay were used to detect proliferation, apoptosis, invasion and migration ability of each group respectively, and Western blotting was used to detect Wnt pathway-related protein expression in each group. Results The miR-138 expression level was higher in the miR-138 mimics group compared with the remaining 3 groups, and that in the miR-138 inhibitor group was lower than that in the blank group and the miR-NC group (P<0. 05) ; Compared with the blank group, the cell proliferation rate was lower in the miR-138 mimics group and higher in the miR-138 inhibitor group, and was time-dependent (P<0. 05) ; The apoptosis rate in the miR-138 mimics group was higher than that in the blank group, miR-NC group, and miR-138 inhibitor group, while the apoptosis rate in the miR-138 inhibitor group was lower than that in the rest other groups (P<0. 05) ; The number of cell-invading cells in the miR-138 mimics group was lower than that in the blank group, miR-NC group, and miR-138 inhibitor group, while all miR-138 inhibitor group were higher than the remaining three groups (P<0. 05) ; The cell migration rate of miR-138 mimics group was lower than that of blank group, miR-NC group and miR-138 inhibitor group, while all miR-138 inhibitor group were higher than the remaining three groups (P<0. 05) ; Wnt3a, Wntl, glycogen synthase kinase 3(3(GSK-3(3) and (3-catenin protein expression in the miR-138 mimics group was lower than that in the blank group, miR-NC group, and miR-138 inhibitor group; While miR-138 inhibitor groups were higher than the remaining three groups(P<0. 05). Conclusion MiR-138 overexpression effectively inhibite the proliferation, invasion and migration of glioma cells and promote their apoptosis, probably achieved by pathway inhibition of the Wnt signaling pathway.
