Objective:To explore the current status and influencing factors of breathlessness beliefs in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) .Methods:Using the convenient sampling method, a total of 167 COPD patients who were admitted to Henan Provincial People's Hospital from April to September 2021 were selected as the research objects. The general information questionnaire, The Breathlessness Beliefs Questionnaire (BBQ) , Social Support Revalued Scale (SSRS) and Multidimensional Fatigue Inventory-Short Form (MFI-SF) were used for questionnaire survey. Results:The BBQ score of 167 COPD patients was (40.92±8.77) , the MFI-SF score was (54.83±14.21) and the SSRS score was (41.23±8.19) . The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that disease grouping, general fatigue, physical fatigue and MFI-SF were the influencing factors of breathlessness beliefs in COPD patients ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:The breathlessness belief in COPD patients is related to disease grouping and fatigue degree, suggesting that relevant measures should be taken to reduce the cognitive level of fear of dyspnea and activity, so as to improve the exercise level and quality of life of patients.
