Spontaneous rupture of symphysis pubis during delivery is rare condition. The overall incidence is 1/600~1/30000 deliveries. The Separation was associated with considerable pain, swelling and tenderness over the symphysis pubis and confirmed roentgenographically. The condition was treated conservatively with bed rest, mostly in the lateral decubitus position, aided by a restrictive pelvic binder. Mobilization was initiated after pain relieved. Recovery can be expected to be complete. We present a case of spontaneous rupture of symphysis pubis during delivery with a brief review of the literature.

The occurrence of spontaneous arterial subdural hematoma is rare. We present one case of subdural hematoma caused by spontaneous rupture of cortical artery. We confirmed that the source of bleeding was rupture of a cortical artery located near the sylvian region in the operative field.

Spontaneous rupture of a choledochal cyst leading to biliary peritonitis is a rare complication which can be fatal if not promptly diagnosed. The authors report the ultrasound and CT findings of two cases of spontaneous choledochal cystic rupture and the biliary peritonitis which ensued.

There are several mechanisms for the dissemination of lipid material from a mature teratoma into the subarachnoid space or ventricles, including iatrogenic or traumatic rupture, but spontaneous rupture of a mature teratoma is rare. We report the spontaneous rupture of a spinal mature teratoma into the subarachnoid space and ventricles. However, at surgery, there was no definite evidence of rupture into the perimedullary cerebrospinal fluid. We postulate that the central canal could be a migration pathway for ruptured material into the brain.

Spontaneous renal rupture is relatively uncommon entity. In Korean literature, 8 cases have been reported. We experienced 1 case of spontaneous renal rupture secondary to hydronephrosis caused by metastatic adenocarcinoma of undetermined origin invading upper ureter and presented it with a brief review of literature.

10.Spontaneous Rupture of the Kidney: Report of A Case.
Korean Journal of Urology 1980;21(4):365-367
Spontaneous rupture of the kidney is uncommon. Since the first description by Wunderlich in 1865, about 300 cases have been reported in the English literatures. In Korea, 5 cases have been reported. Its presumptive symptoms were hematuria, excruciating pain and palpable mass. Nephrectomy was performed immediately because of the present failure of the conservative treatment. Herein we report a case and review the urological literature related to it.
