Objective To identify the dynamic influence of antibiotics use on T helper cell(Th) 1/Th2 cytokine balance in neonatal rats in their early life. Methods Twenty-four newborn SD rats were randomly divided into 3 groups including 2dCef group,7dCef group and a control group (n =8).SD rats at 2 or 7 days of age were injected Cefotaxime sodium intraperitoneally for 3 consecutive days. The control group was injected the same amount of phosphate buffer saline.Serum and bronchoaveolar lavage fluid (BALF) samples were collected on 35 days old and diffe-rential cell count in BALF was done.Enzyme linked immunosorbent was used to detect the concentration of interleukin(IL)-12,interferon-γ(IFN-γ),IL-4 and IL-5 in serum and BALF,and real-time quantitative PCR was used to detect mRNA expression of those cytokines in lung tissues. Results The number of total cells, neutrophils, and lymphocytes in Cefotaxime treated on 2nd day after birth were significantly higher than those in the controls and 7th day group (F =93.78,15.84,7.36,all P <0.05).For Thl cytokines detection:the IL-12 secretion in BALF and serum and INF -γsecretion in BALF of the 2 antibiotic groups were lower than those in control group (F =26.53,12.95,47.18,all P < 0.05),the decrease in 2dCef group were more obviously than 7dCef group [(127.72 ± 12.35) ng/L vs (198.15 ± 18.93) ng/L,(105.91±13.61) ng/Lvs (133.63 ±13.82) ng/L,(147.23 ±24.10) ng/Lvs (178.52±12.46) ng/L,all P <0.05].The mRNA expression of IL-12 in antibiotic groups were lower than those in control group (F =33.60,P <0.05),and the decrease in 2dCef group was more obvious than that in 7 dCef group (0.073 ± 0.023 vs 0.093 ± 0.028,P <0.05).For the Th2 cytokines:the IL-4 secretion concentration and mRNA expression in the 2 antibiotic groups were higher than those in the control group (BALF,serum and lung) (F =64.26,13.79,11.54,all P < 0.05),the increase in 2dCef group was more obvious than that in 7dCef group[(103.65 ± 7.68) ng/L vs (82.04 ± 8.77) ng/L,(87.81 ± 4.72) ng/L vs (69.69 ± 7.79) ng/L,(0.067 ± 0.036) ng/L vs (0.051 ± 0.055),all P < 0.05];however,no significant differences of IL-5 either mRNA or cytokine secretion being detected among these 3 groups (F =0.50,0.75,0.08,all P > 0.05).Conclusions Antibiotic use during early time of neonate rats alters postnatal immune cells distribution in the lung and promotes the shift in cytokine balance towards a Th2 profile, and the earlier the antibiotic use,the more serious the impact.
2.Clinical effect of Danhong injection combined with acupuncture in the treatment of vascular parkinson
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2017;39(12):1069-1072
Objective To study the clinical effect of Danhong injection combined with acupuncture in the treatment of vascular Parkinson syndrome (VP). Methods A total of 98 patients with VP who were treated in the hospital from January 2015 to January 2017 were enrolled in this study. According to the digital random table method, the patients were divided into two groups, the observation group and the control group with each 49 cases. Both groups were given basic treatment, and based on that, the observation group was treated with Danhong injection and acupuncture treatment. Both groups were compared before and after 8 weeks of treatment with the outcome indices of exercise and motor function score, blood rheology index and cerebral hemodynamic indexes, as well as adverse reactions. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 87.76% (43/49), while the control group was 71.43% (35/49), and the difference was statistically significant(χ 2=4.021,P<0.05).After treatment, the motor function score(27.4 ± 10.5 vs.32.8 ± 8.2,t=2.865), the scores of non-motor function(4.1 ± 2.2 vs.9.8 ± 4.0,t=8.785)of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the plasma viscosity(1.49 ± 0.21 mPa?s vs.1.64 ± 0.28 mPa?s,t=3.000),fibrinogen(3.18 ±0.77 g/L,vs.3.86 ±0.70 g/L,t=4.574),and the RI index(0.49 ±0.12 vs. 0.62 ± 0.16, t=4.550) of the observation group was significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). The Vs(81.97 ± 12.65 cm/s vs.74.39 ± 9.48 cm/s,t=3.357) and Vm(61.54 ± 7.10 cm/s vs.55.87 ± 6.24 cm/s,t=4.199) of observation group was significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05). The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 14.29%, which was no significant difference compared with that of the control group of 16.33%(χ 2=0.079,P>0.05).Conclusions The Danhong injection combined with acupuncture showed better effect on VP patients, and it could improve the clinical symptoms and blood circulation.

Objective To explore the method of perioperative nursing of patients with metal implants operated by high frequency electrotome in the surgery. Methods A retrospective analysis of the effect and the method of perioperative nursing for 92 patients in Tangdu Hospital of the Fourth Military Medical University from April 2010 to August 2015 with metal implants operated by high frequency electrotome in the surgery was made to summarize nursing experience. Results Effective perioperative nursing and careful protection were made for the patients with metal implants operated by high frequency electrotome in the surgery. None of adverse events such as high frequency electrome burn and metal implant damage occurred in 92 patients. Conclusions For the patients with metal implants in the body, according to the premise of the principle of safe use, the relationship between the electrodes and the negative electrode, between the power and individual differences, between the incision location and metal implants should be handled correctly. Close protection is necessary. The operating instruction and the application method of the high frequency electrome should be grasped correctly. Only if these are carried out, can the advantages of highfrequency electromebe revealed during surgery and reduce the occurrence of adverse events.
