Objective To discuss the health education needs of patients with hyperuricemia among Henlan district in Guangdong province so as to improve the effect of health education. Methods Adopted self-designed questionnaire survey forms,we conducted the investigation about content, time and way needs of the health education on 763 patients with hyperuricemia among coastal town in Guangdong from January to December 2011.Results Of the 733 distributed questionnaires, totally 689 questionnaire were retrieved, the effective resporvse rate was 94%.Influences of patient's age, time length of disease and time to select the health education on the patient' s demand of health education had the statistical significance (x2 =23.96,10.32,543.81; P < 0.05).The demand of old patients regarding the health education reached 92.9%,and the demand factor of the patients with disease for 1-3 months about the health education was 93.4%,77.2% of patients thought that the best time for receiving the health education was afternoon. And there was no significance difference in the education degree and the health education needs different of the patients (P >0.05).The choices of health education content needs of the patients were that 91% of patients selected the prevention and treatment method and effect of the hyperuricemia,92.5% of patients selected habits and customs which may easily cause the hyperuricemia,90% of patients selected damage of the hyperuricemia. The choices of health education ways were as follows:91% of patients selected the health knowledge lecture,90% of patients selected the communication between doctor and patient,89% of patients selected the introduction of ward mate' s experience. Conclusions Through the analysis on health education content and way needs of farmer group patients with hyperuricemia, more scientific, convenient and efficient health education services can be provided for patients.

Objective To analyze the effect of multi-disciplinary health education team on disease related knowledge and life style of patients with hyperuricemia. Methods Totals of 800 cases with hyperuricemia between January 2011 and June 2012 were randomly divided into observation group (n =400) and control group (n =400).Observation group received the intervention of multi-disciplinary health education team, while control group received the routine health education.Blood uric acid level were monitored and compared between two groups before and after health education.Through the questionnaire survey form, before and after health education, knowledge of two groups about prevention and control of hyperuricemia and life habits change situation were studied. Results Comparison of two groups of hyperuricemia curative effect, observation group was obviously higher than that of the control group [(91.25 % vs 53.00%) ;Z =-5.930,P < 0.05)].No significant difference was found in the hyperuricemia knowledge awareness about prevention and control between two group before the intervention (P > 0.05),while after the intervention, the knowledge awareness rote of health education group was significantly higher than that of the control group (94.50% vs 66.25% ;x2 =5.343,P < 0.05).The reasonable diet proportion (96.75% vs 53.25%),the proportion of drinking less than 200 ml (94.00% vs 58.75 %),the proportion of moderate exercise (91.25% vs 66.75 %) between two group were significant difference (x2 =5.231,5.038,4.987 ; P < 0.05).Conclusions The intervention of multidisciplinary health education team on patients with hypemricemia can achieve the effect of prevention and control of hyperuricemia, and promote the change of patients' way of life, improve their awareness for hyperuricemia harmfulness, and improve their medical treatment compliance.

Objectives: To investigate the clinical application effect of a quantitative method of atlantoaxial reduction angle in basilar invagination. Methods: A retrospective analysis of clinical and radiographic data was conducted of 38 patients with complicated atlantoaxial dislocation and basilar invagination admitted to the Department of Neurosurgery, First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from May 2020 to May 2022. There were 5 males and 33 females, aged (53.5±9.9) years (range: 38 to 80 years). All patients underwent C1-2 interarticular fusion cage implantation+occipital-cervical fixation by pressing rob with the cantilever technique. The atlantoaxial reduction model of previous studies by our team was used to calculate the reduction angles before surgery. Then titanium rods of prebending angle were prepared according to the calculation before the operation. After that quantitative reduction of angle was performed during the operation. The paired t-test was used to compare the difference between the theoretical and actual reset value. Results: The theoretical reduction angle of all patients was (10.62±1.78)° (range: 6.40° to 13.20°), the actual reduction angle was (10.53±1.63)° (range: 6.70° to 13.30°) and there was no statistical difference between them (t=1.688, P=0.100). The theoretical posterior occipitocervical angle after the operation of all patients was (117.37±5.88)° (range: 107.00° to 133.00°), the actual posterior occipitocervical angle after the operation was (118.25±6.77)° (range: 105.40° to 135.80°) and there was no statistical difference between them (t=-0.737, P=0.466). The postoperative follow-up time of the patients was more than 6 months and the symptoms of all patients were relieved. All patients had satisfactory fusion between small joints without incision infection, internal fixation fracture, displacement, atlantoaxial redislocation, and other long-term complications. Conclusion: The quantitative method of atlantoaxial reduction angle in basilar invagination can calculate the theoretical reduction angle of the clivus axis angle and guide the preparation of the pre-bending titanium rod before surgery, so as to realize the quantification of the atlantoaxial reduction angle.
