Chinese Journal of School Health 2020;41(1):96-99
Objective:
To explore the correlation between pull-up ability and upper body composition of male college students in a college in Guangxi, and to provide scientific guidance for college students’ exercise.
Methods:
A total of 685 male college students were randomly selected from a college in Guangxi.Pull up tests were implemented according to the national physical health test standards. Measurements of muscle mass, fat mass, fat percentage, etc. of the upper limbs were conducted by using the Ogilvy Body Composition Meter (TANITA MC-180). Data entry and analysis were performed by using SPSS 23.0.
Results:
The pass rate of male college students in the region was 21.7%; There was a statistically significant difference in the fat mass and percentage of body fat between males with different pull-up ability (F=11.30,14.18,12.91,15.22,P<0.01).After controlling age, height, weight and BMI, partial correlation analysis showed that there was a negative correlation between the pull-up ability of male college students and the fat mass and limb fat rate of both upper limbs(r=-0.22, -0.33, -0.31, -0.38, P<0.01).
Conclusion
The ability of male students in Guangxi to pull up is needed to be improved. Pull-up exercises can reduce fat mass and fat percentage in the upper limbs and improve body composition.

Objective To investigate the accessibility of HIV-related public health services among cross-border couples living in Dehong Prefecture and age differences. Methods A cross-sectional survey was conducted among cross-border couples in Dehong Prefecture from January 2017 to July 2019. Results In total, 32 182 participants were included. The proportion of people who had received HIV testing services, HIV-related intervention services in past year, care and help in the past year, and participated in new rural cooperative medical services (NCMS) were 57.8%, 92.7%, 6.5% and 94.5%, respectively; and the latter three services were significantly different across age groups (P<0.001). In multivariable Logistic regression model, variables significantly associated with having ever received HIV testing services older age (51-85 years: OR=0.71, 95% CI: 0.63-0.81), women (OR=1.14, 95% CI:1.03-1.25), county/city (Longchuan: OR=6.30, 95% CI: 5.72-6.93; Lianghe: OR=1.27, 95% CI: 1.11-1.44; Yingjiang: OR=0.88, 95% CI: 0.82-0.94), Dai ethnic minority (OR=1.60, 95% CI: 1.50-1.72), marriage registration (marriage registration for border inhabitants: OR=0.60, 95% CI: 0.56-0.65; non-registration: OR=0.66, 95% CI: 0.62-0.70), years of marriage (4-5 years: OR=1.21, 95% CI: 1.12-1.31; 6-60 years: OR=1.30, 95%CI:1.22-1.39), having not received care and help in the past year (OR=0.64, 95% CI: 0.58-0.71) and having not participated in NCMS (OR=0.58, 95% CI: 0.52-0.65). Conclusions The accessibility to HIV-related public health services are relatively high among cross-border couples in Dehong Prefecture. However, the relatively low proportion of receiving AIDS testing services, particularly among certain groups and counties/cities, need to be strengthened.

Tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFalpha) is a pro-inflammatory cytokine, acting as a regulator of inflammation and immunity. TNFalpha plays a critical role in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis. Blocking of TNFa activity suppressed inflammatory tissue damage. In present study, the chimeric gene of soluble TNF receptor and IgG Fc fragment (sTNFR-IgG FC) was cloned into the mammalian cell expression vector pStar. When the plamid pStar/sTNFR-IgGFc-GFP was transfected into endothelial cells, a considerable expression of the sTNFR-IgG Fc fusion protein was detected. Moreover, the product in 100microL expression supernatant could completely antagonize the cytolytic effect of 1ng TNFa on L929 cells, even at 1/64 dilution. Then the plasmid was delivered into CIA-induced rheumatoid arthritis mice by tail vein injection. The expression of sTNFR-IgG Fc was detected in liver by RT-PCR. Animals in treatment group showed reduced symptoms of arthritis and more active. This treatment induced decrease of synovial incrassation and prevented the cartilage destruction of the mice RA model. These results show that tail vein injection is an effective way for gene therapy and sTNFR-IgGFc expression plasmid is potential for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.

Chinese Journal of Contemporary Pediatrics 2020;22(11):1193-1197
OBJECTIVE:
To study the clinical features of neuroblastoma (NB) and the factors influencing survival rate.
METHODS:
A total of 44 children with NB who were admitted from April 2016 to February 2020 were enrolled as research subjects. A retrospective analysis was performed on their medical data and follow-up data.
RESULTS:
The common clinical symptoms of these 44 children were fever (10/44, 23%), mass (9/44, 20%), abdominal pain (8/44, 18%), cough (7/44, 16%), pale complexion (3/44, 7%), claudication (2/44, 5%), and abnormal activity (2/44, 5%). According to the INSS stage, 2 children (4%) had stage I NB, 5 children (11%) had stage II NB, 5 children (11%) had stage III NB, and 32 children (73%) had stage IV NB. The mean follow-up time was (15.3±1.5) months, with a recurrence rate of 20% and an overall survival rate of 82%. Among the 44 children, 29 (66%) achieved event-free survival and 7 (16%) had survival with tumor. The univariate analysis showed that a pathological type of NB and an increase in serum neuron-specific enolase (NSE) decreased the overall survival rate of children with NB (P<0.05).
CONCLUSIONS
The clinical symptoms of children with NB are not specific at the first visit. Fever, abdominal pain, and mass are common symptoms, and there is a high proportion of children in the advanced stage. The pathological type of NB and an increase in serum NSE may be associated with a reduction in the overall survival rate of children with NB.

OBJECTIVETo study the difference in expression of TOPK/PBK in lymph nodes between children with malignant lymphoma and those with reactive lymphoid hyperplasia.
METHODSEighty children with malignant lymphoma and twenty children with reactive lymphoid hyperplasia were enrolled as subjects. Immunohistochemistry was used to determine the expression of TOPK/PBK in all the subjects. The expression of TOPK/PBK was compared between the two groups.
RESULTSThe TOPK/PBK-positivity rate was significantly higher in children with malignant lymphoma than in those with reactive lymphoid hyperplasia (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the TOPK/PBK-positivity rate between the children with Hodgkin's lymphoma and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL). There were significant differences in the TOPK/PBK-positivity rate among children with different pathological types of NHL (P<0.05): the children with lymphoblastic lymphoma showed the highest TOPK/PBK-positivity rate and those with mature B-cell lymphoma and mature T/NK-cell lymphoma had a similar TOPK/PBK-positivity rate.
CONCLUSIONSThe expression of TOPK/PBK is up-regulated in the lymph nodes of children with malignant lymphoma. The expression level of TOPK/PBK may be related to the pathological type of NHL.

Objective To better understand the characteristics of spatial distribution of malaria epidemics in Hainan province and to explore the relationship between malaria epidemics and environmental factors, as well to develop prediction model on malaria epidemics. Methods Data on Malaria and meteorological factors were collected in all 19 counties in Hainan province from May to Oct. , 2000, and the proportion of land use types of these counties in this period were extracted from digital map of land use in Hainan province. Land surface temperatures (LST)were extracted from MODIS images and elevations of these counties were extracted from DEM of Hainan province. The coefficients of correlation of malaria incidences and these environmental factors were then calculated with SPSS 13.0, and negative binomial regression analysis were done using SAS 9.0. Results The incidence of malaria showed (1) positive correlations to elevation, proportion of forest land area and grassland area; (2) negative correlations to the proportion of cultivated area, urban and rural residents and to industrial enterprise area, LST; (3) no correlations to meteorological factors, proportion of water area, and unemployed land area. The prediction model of malaria which came from negative binomial regression analysis was: Ⅰ(monthly, unit:1/1 000 000) = exp( - 1. 672 - 0. 399 × LST). Conclusion Spatial distribution of malaria epidemics was associated with some environmental factors, and prediction model of malaria epidemic could be developed with indexes which extracted from satellite remote sensing images.
