1.ACUTE TOXIC RESPONSE OF METRONIDAZOLE DERIVATIVE IN MICE
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1985;0(05):-
Metronidazole derivative (CM) administered intraperitoneally or intravenously could cause a marked dose dependent neurotoxic response. The mean LD50 was 5034 mg/kg in the three batches of CM intraperitoneally administered and their effect was statistically identical, and the mean LD50 was 3186 mg/kg in the three baches of CM intravenously administered and their effect was same although there was a significant difference between 8638 and 8646 batches which was probably due to the individual difference in Sensitivity to intravenous injection.

Objective:To observe the effects of a preparation of chinese traditional medicine Zengshengping (ZSP) in the treatment of oral lichen planus (OLP).Methods:200 patients with OLP were randomly divided into 2 groups with 100 in each. The patients in one group were treated with ZSP and those in another with levomisolum. The patients were followed up for two years. Results:The total effective rate in ZSP or levomisolum treated group were 90% and 62% respectively (P<0.025).Conclusion:ZSP is more effective in the treatment of OLP than levomisolum.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine which eliminating necrotic tissues and promoting granulation on pressure ulcer of Ⅲ to Ⅳstage using Meta analysis. Methods RCTstudies of therapy of eliminating necrotic tissues and promoting granulation traditional Chinese medicine for stage Ⅲ~Ⅳ pressure ulcer were searched,in which the control groups used routine methods, while the experimental groups adopted necrotic tissues and promoting granulation traditional Chinese medicine. Two reviewers assessed the documents'quality separately and completed data extraction. The statistical analysis was performed using the Cochrance collaborations' Rev Man 5.1 software. Results The cure rates for pressure ulcers of the experimental groups were higher than the control groups. The time of recovery of the experimental groups were shorter than the controls. The dressing change frequency of the experimental groups was less than the controls. Conclusions Traditional Chinese medicines which eliminating necrotic tissues and promoting granulation can significantly improve the cure rate, shorten the therapeutic time and reduce the frequency of dressing change.

Purpose:To investigate the relation of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) to tumor progression of cervical carcinoma. Methods:The expression and localization of COX-2 and iNOS protein in the 25 patients with cervical carcinomas were determined by immunohistochemical and the gene expression of COX-2 and iNOS were examined by reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction ( RT-PCR). Results:Immunohistochemical staining for COX-2 and iNOS expression was strongly positive in 15 of 25 (60 %) and 20 of 25 (80 %) cases, respectively. Increased COX-2 and iNOS mRNA levels were confirmed by RT-PCR. There was negative correlation between COX-2 expression and tumor cell differentiation(r=-0.420, P

OBJECTIVE To know the gene type of Staphylococcus aureus which caused the respiratory tract infection of patients after transplantation in our hospital, and to explore the epidemiology, preventing measure and nursing strategy of the lung infection by S.aureus among them.METHODS Using random amplified polymorphic DNA(RAPD) to analyze the gene type fingerprint of the 20 S.aureus strains originated from the respiratory tract of patients after transplantation, and using cefoxitin paper strip method to detect the mecA gene of the S.aureus.RESULTS Twenty S.aureus strains were divided into 8 gene types, and among them, the detectable rate of gene types Ⅰ,Ⅱ,and Ⅲ was 40.0%,15.0%,and 15.0%,respectively.The positive rate of mecA gene reached to 80.0%.CONCLUSIONS The S.aureus originated from respiratory tracts of the patients after transplantation is mainly of gene type Ⅰ.And the positive rate of mecA gene is very high.So the management of hands washing, sterilization and isolation of medical and nursing staffs should be strengthened, and effective method should be took to prevent the propagation of mecA positive S.aureus among the patients after transplantation.

AIM To establish radioligand binding assay of gastrin receptor in rat gastric parietal cell. METHODS Using 125 I labeled [Leu 15 ] gastrin 17 I as the radioligand, rat gastric parietal cells as the receptor preparations. RESULTS In the range of the study, a Scatchard plot of the binding was made by Ligand program with an equilibrium K d of approximately 1 249?10 -10 mol?L -1 and a maximum binding capacity of 4 4604?10 -12 mol?L -1 . The amount of gastrin binding was strongly associated with the cell concentration of rat gastric parietal cell preparations ranged from 0 25?10 9 to 2?10 9 cells?L -1 . The variant coefficent of the binding assay was 7 04% within the same sample. The competitive inhibiting analyses showed that 125 I gastrin was bound to gastric parietal cell preparations with a high specificity. CONCLUSION The radioligand binding assay of gastrin receptor in rat gastric parietal cell preparations meets the criteria for establishing receptor binding assay.

The protein of BRCC36 is a kind of enzyme specifically hydrolyzing K 63-linked poly-ubiquitin chain and widely found in a variety of eukaryotic cells .BRCC36 recognizes diverse substrate proteins , and participates in various kinds of pathophysiological responses such as DNA damage repair , cell signal transduction and cell cycle control .It plays an important role in the process of cancer , angiogenesis and cardiac injury .This review discusses the progress in the inves-tigation on BRCC36 protein to provide the necessary information for searching new therapeutic targets of many diseases .

OBJECTIVE In order to find the way to reduce nosocomial pneumonia through preventing delivery of microbio-aerosol.we investigate whether oxygen humidification process generate and deliver aerosol to the end of oxygen tube, and the difference between two types of humidifier.METHODS Two types of humidifier were used. One was unique bionic humidifier through surface of humidification material, the other was conventional bubble humidifier. The amount of aerosol was counted by laser particle counter at the end of oxygen cannula.Different solute of ferric chloride and soluble starch in two humidification materials were used to testify the generation and transmission of aerosol during oxygen therapy.RESULTS Bubble humidifier produced large amount of aerosol of 0.3,0.5,1.0,3.0,5.0 ?m at 31089.9、28488.6、2873.9、197、1.1particle/cubic meter respectively. Most of the aerosol were between 0.3 and 3 microns in diameter. While bionic humidifier produced small amount of aerosol of 0.3,0.5,1 ?m at 95.3,39.8,2.0 particle/cubic meter respectively, there were no aerosol particle larger than 3?m.The difference of 0.3,0.5,1.0,3.0,5.0?m aerosol between bubble and bionic humidifier was significant(P

Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1985;0(05):-
In this experiment, we studied the effects of rhIL-3, rhlFN-r and DMSO on the growth and differentiation of the human leukemia cell line HL-60. The results showed that three agents were capable of suppressing the proliferation of the HL-60 cells and inducing terminal differentiation of the cells, with the exception of early augmentation of the cell growth by the rhIL-3. The differentiation effect was most obvious in DMSO treated cells, then in rhIL-3 and least in rhIFN-r The enhanced effects occurred when the HL-60 cells were treated in combination with DMSO and rhIL-3 or rhIFN-r
