Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture at specific points in treating different degrees of urgency-frequency syndrome. Methods Sixty patients with urgency-frequency syndrome were randomly allocated, according to the symptom score, to groups A (the symptom score≤ 24) and B (the symptom score>24), 30 cases each. Both groups received electroacupuncture at specific points (four sacral points and four abdominal points). In the two groups, the symptoms were scored before and after treatment and the clinical therapeutic effects were evaluated.Results There was a statistically significant pre-/post-treatment difference in the symptom score in the two groups (P<0.01). The total efficacy rate was 83.3% in group A and 80.0% in group B; there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion Electroacupuncture at specific points is an effective way to treat urgency-frequency syndrome.

Objective Through investigation of children fluorosis illness,family households improved stoves and related life styles,to provide a scientific basis for sustainable control of endemic fluorosis.Methods In 2013,in Huishui County and Baiyun District,3 towns were selected in each county(district),and 3 villages were selected in each town.All 8-12 years old children in the school of these villages were checked dental fluorosis,which was diagnosed according to Dental Fluorosis Diagnosis (WS/T 208-2011); at the same time,10 families were selected to survey the situation of improved stoves and related life styles.Results Dental fluorosis detection rate of 8-12 years old children in Huishui and Baiyun were 2.75％ (23/836) and 2.26％ (11/487),which were all lower than 30％.Qualified rate of improved stoves and qualified stoves correct utilization rate were all 100.0％ (90/90).For human consumption,the correct rate of corn drying was 100.0％ (90/90) ; the correct rates of chili drying were 98.9％ (89/90) and 100.0％ (90/90).Conclusions The prevention effect is obvious,which has reached the control standards.We should continue to improve the long-term mechanism of comprehensive control measures,and to achieve substantial elimination of coal-burning endemic fluorosis.

The future key development and direction of medical informatics were studied and predicted from the visual angle of information chain with certain measures put forward for the solution of problems in the development of medical informatics.

After the medical informatics undergraduate course system recommended by GMDS was analyzed and summarized, the 5 principles for constructing medical informatics undergraduate course system were put forward ac-cording to the medical informatics undergraduate course system in China at present.The plan of offered new courses was proposed on the basis of medical informatics course system in our university in order to train the society-needed complex medical informatics professionals and achieve the long-term healthy development of medical informatics.

From March 1980 to December 1987, 650 patients with non-small cell lung cancers were treated by radiotherapy alone, chemotherapy alone, operation alone, Chinese medicine therapy alone, radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy, operation with radiotherapy operation with chemotherapy. The survival rates of the patients who received operation were obviously higher than radiotherapy alone, chemotherapy alone and Chinese medicine therapy alone groups. No relationship was found between the survival rates and pathological classification, but there was a close relationship between the survival rates and stages.

Objective To study the influences of the length of sexual abstinence on sperm parameters and seminal plasma biochemical indicator.Methods Sperm concentration and motility were detected by computer assisted sperm analysis(CASA).The sperm morphology was analyzed using semiautomatic sperm morphology analyzer.Seminal plasma fructose concentration,neutral a-glycosidase,zinc,and acid phosphates concentration were measured by spectrophotometer.Improved DTNB was conducted for detection of the content of seminal plasma novain.Prostatespecific antigen(PSA)was measured with commercial kit.Three groups were defined according to the days of sexual abstinence:G1(1-3 days),G2(4-5 days)and G3(＞6 days).Results Sperm concentration of G2 was significantly higher than that of G1(P＜0.01),and of G3 than that of G1 and G2(P＜0.01).Sperm motility and per centage of morphologically normal sperm of G3 were significantly lower than that of G1(P＜0.01).Seminal plasma fructose concentration of G3 was significantly lower than that of G1 and G2(P＜0.01,P＜0.05).Seminal plasma neutral a-glycosidase,carnutine,zinc concentration of G3 was significantly higher than that of G1 and G2(P＜0.01,P＜0.05).Conclusion The length of sexual abstinence can influence sperm parameters and seminal plasma biochemical indicator.

Objective To investigate the effects of a chitosan product on scarring and adhesion after never injury in laminectomy in rats. Methods 48 male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into group A and group B, and carried laminectomy of L4-5, and injured the right spinal nerve roots. The normal saline was smeared on the operation field in the group A, while the chitosan product was smeared in the group B. The adhesion was assessed with Rydell score 1 (groups A1/B1), 2 (groups A2/B2) and 4 (groups A3/B3) weeks after operation, while the spinal nerves were observed with HE staining and Masson staining, and the adhesion was assessed with Nussbaum score. The complete blood count and the series of blood chemistries and enzymes for liver and kidney functioning were measured. Results The Rydell scores of adhesion was I grade in group A1, II grade in A2 and III grade in A3, while was 0 grade in B1, 0 grade in B2 and II grade in B3. The scar and adhesion contact more loosely in the group B than in the group A, and the Nussbaum score was less in the group B than in the group A at the same time (P<0.05). The complete blood count and the series of blood chemistries and enzymes for liver and kidney functioning were in normal. Conclusion This chitosan product can prevent the formation of epidural scar and adhesion around the spinal and the nerve roots after laminectomy, with little toxicity and side effects.
