Aging is associated with declines of the muscular strength and cardiorespiratory functions, resulting in an impaired capacity to perform daily activities. Frailty is a clinical geriatric syndrome characterized by decreases in the biological functional reserve and resis-tance to stressors, which puts older individuals at special risk of disability. To counteract the muscular strength and cardiorespiratory func-tions declines associated with aging, as well as to prevent and treat the frailty syndrome, the strength and endurance training seems to be an effective strategy to improve muscular strength and endurance performance. This article reviewed the exercise prescription in health and frail elderly subjects according to the current situation of the researches about muscular strength and cardiorespiratory function training. Based on the results found, for the healthy older adults, strength training should be performed at moderate-to high-intensity (60%-80%of 1 RM ), and moderate volume (2-3 sets per exercise, 2-3 times/week ). Also, endurance training should be performed at moderate-to high-in-tensity (60%-85% of VO2max), and moderat volume (25-40 min). The frail older adults should exercise 2-3 times a week, for 45-60 min. Strength, endurance, flexibility, and balance training components should be incorporated, and strength and balance training should be empha-sized.

Objective To study the effects of arsenic trioxide ( As2 O3 ) on inhibiting the proliferation of pancreatic carcinoma cell lines. Methods The inhibiting rate of As2O3 and Fluorouracin(5-Fu) ,Gemcitabine(GEM) on pancreatic carcinoma cell lines PC-3 were detected by using CCK-8 assay. Results As compared with 5-Fu、GEM,the inhibiting rate of As2O3 was the highest one( P < 0.01 or P < 0.05). Conclusion As2O3 can inhibit pancreatic carcinoma cell lines PC-3 effectively in vitro. The effects of As2O3 on inhibiting the proliferation of pancreatic carcinoma cell lines was stronger than 5-Fu and GEM. This is possibly due to the extensive and unique anticancer mechanism of As2O3.

Objective:To investigate the serum levels of miR-19b and miR-744-5p in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and to analyze the clinical value of miR-19b and miR-744-5p in the diagnosis of NSCLC.Methods:A total of 226 NSCLC patients (NSCLC group) and 100 healthy people (control group) admitted to Jilin Cancer Hospital from August 2019 to August 2022 were selected as research objects. Quantitative real-time PCR was used to measure and compare the serum levels of miR-19b and miR-744-5p between the NSCLC group and the control group, and the relationships between the two indicators and different clinical and pathological characteristics of NSCLC patients were analyzed. The receiver operating characteristic curve was used to analyze the clinical value of miR-19b, miR-744-5p and their joint detection in the diagnosis of NSCLC.Results:Compared with the control group, the serum miR-19b level (3.86±1.25 vs. 1.06±0.41) in the NSCLC group significantly increased ( t=21.87, P<0.001), while the miR-744-5p level (1.80±0.48 vs. 5.75±1.69) significantly decreased ( t=32.36, P<0.001). The serum miR-19b levels in NSCLC patients with pathological types of adenocarcinoma, maximum tumor diameter ≥3 cm, medium to low differentiation, stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ, and with lymph node metastasis were higher than those in squamous cell carcinoma ( t=5.94, P<0.001), maximum tumor diameter <3 cm ( t=2.65, P=0.009), well differentiation ( t=4.33, P<0.001), stageⅠ-Ⅱ ( t=12.32, P<0.001), patients without lymph node metastasis ( t=8.13, P<0.001), while miR-744-5p levels were lower than those in squamous cell carcinoma ( t=8.27, P<0.001), tumor maximum diameter <3 cm ( t=5.34, P<0.001), well differentiation ( t=6.95, P<0.001), stageⅠ-Ⅱ ( t=11.40, P<0.001), patients without lymph node metastasis ( t=10.36, P<0.001). The area under the curve (AUC) of serum miR-19b combined with miR-744-5p in the diagnosis of NSCLC was 0.914 (95% CI: 0.841-0.959), with sensitivity and specificity of 90.9% and 84.0%, respectively. AUC was significantly than that of the single indicator detection of miR-19b (AUC=0.824, 95% CI: 0.770-0.869) and miR-744-5p (AUC=0.783, 95% CI: 0.709-0.838) ( Z=2.28, P=0.021; Z=2.36, P=0.017) . Conclusion:Serum miR-19b level of NSCLC patients is increased, miR-744-5p levels is decreased, and joint detection of serum miR-19b and miR-744-5p has high clinical value in the diagnosis of NSCLC.

The strategies and methods of the total quality management (TQM) need to applied in quality management of radiation therapy. We should improve the level of quality control and quality assurance in radiation therapy. By establishing quality control system in radiation therapy, standardization of radiation therapy workflow, strengthening quality control of devices and physical technique and paying attention to safety protection and staff training.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2012;36(2):93-95
The quantity of medical equipment in hospital rise quickly recent year. It provides the comprehensive support to the clinical service. The maintenance of medical equipment becomes more important than before. It is necessary to study on the orientation and function of clinical engineer in medical equipment maintenance system. Refer to three grade health care system, the community doctors which is called General practitioner, play an important role as the gatekeeper of health care system to triage and cost control. The paper suggests that hospital clinical engineer should play similar role as the gatekeeper of medical equipment maintenance system which composed by hospital clinical engineer, manufacture engineer and third party engineer. The hospital clinical engineer should be responsible of guard a pass of medical equipment maintenance quality and cost control. As the gatekeeper, hospital clinical engineer should take the responsibility of "General engineer" and pay more attention to safety and health of medical equipment. The responsibility description and future transition? development of clinical engineer as "General Engineer" is discussed. More attention should be recommended to the team building of hospital clinical engineer as "General Engineer".

Journal of Apoplexy and Nervous Diseases 2020;37(4):337-340
Objective To investigate the correlation between red cell distribution width to platelet ratio and short-term prognosis in acute ischemic stroke. Methods The patients with ischemic stroke admitted in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University during the initial 24 hours after the onset of disease between 2015-2017 were recruited prospectively.Red cell distribution width (RDW),platelet and clinical characteristics were recorded.Functional outcome at 90 days after ischemic stroke was evaluated by the modified Rankin Scale (mRS).Results Totally 1106 patients were included.Patients with poor functional outcome were older (P<0.001=and had more frequent histories of hypertension (P=0.015),diabetes (P=0.001),atrial fibrillation (P<0.001=,coronary heart disease (P=0.041),stroke (P<0.001=and higher National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)(P<0.001=,white blood cell count (P<0.001=,RDW (P<0.001=and RDW to platelet ratio (RPR) (P=0.034).Higher RPR levels were associated with poor functional outcome at 90 days after ischemic stroke[(odds ratio,OR) 1.09,(confidence interval,CI) 1.03~1.16,P=0.005]. Conclusion Higher RPR levels were associated with poor short-term outcome after acute ischemic stroke.
