This article describes a phantom holder in CT couch which adjusted easily and accurately, installed easily. The holder mainly include removing and locking equipment between phantom holder and table top, move horizontally equipment between left and right, rotating equipment between left and right. After holder and table top fixed one part, holder with phantom can move horizontally, front and back, rotate between left and right in a small angle, in order to make operator test phantoms accurately and easily. At the same time, this phantom holder realized free adjustment after first adjustments, which shortened operator work time.

Methods Sixty animals were randomly divided into 6 groups. Dilated cardiomyopathy model was made by injecting adriamycin. Experimental rats were given Xinji Huoliyin and Huangqi Shengmaiyin respectively. The genic expression of p53 and Fas was tested by S-P immunohistochemistry technique after 4 weeks. Results The apoptosis rate of myocardial cell of model group was higher than that of normal group (P

Objective:To explore the role of osteopotin in lupus nephritis (LN).Methods:Sera osteopotin( OPN )levels were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay in 90 patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE),15 non-SLE patients with renal impairment, and 30 healthy volunteers.OPN mRNA expression in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) was also investigated with reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction semi-quantitative method. Results:The expression of OPN was significantly higher in active LN groups than in all other groups(P0.05).Conclusion:The expression of PBMCs OPN mRNA is up regulation in active SLE.Meanwhile, its expression levels are correlated with the activity of LN.

Objective To investigate the relationship between body mass index (BMI) and long-term survival in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).Methods A retrospective cohort study was conducted in 1124 patients with completed data among 1528 hospitalized patients with COPD.Vital status was ascertained at death registry and civil affairs department.Clinical characteristics were acquired from medical record.Patients were divided into 4 groups according to the quartile of BMI:BMI<18.9 kg/m2 (group A),BMI from 18.9 kg/m2to 22.7 kg/m2 (group B),BMI from 22.8 kg/m2 to 26.2 kg/m2 (group C),BMI>26.2 kg/m2 (group D).The differences in survival curves were compared between groups by using log-rank test. The relationship between all-cause mortality and BMI was evaluated by Cox proportional hazards regression model. Results The median BMI of 1124 patients was 22.7 kg/m2 [(18.9-26.2) kg/m2].270 patients (24.0%) had BMI<18.5 kg/m2.162 patients (14.4%) died during follow-up.There was significant difference in the survival curves in the four groups (x2 =7.97,P<0.05).Survival rate was highest in group C and lowest in group A.After adjustment for other factors,BMI was an independent risk factor for predicting long-term survival. The survival rate was respectively decreased by 41 % and 35 % in group C and D as compared with group A.Conclusions Weight loss is comman in COPD patients.BMI is an independent risk factor for predicting long-term survival.BMI is easily acquired and stable, which is especially suitable to evaluate the prognosis of patients with acute exacerbation.

Objective To evaluate the relationship between the expressions CyclinD1 and nm23H1 and the response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) in cervical carcinoma. Methods 100 patients with cervical cancer were enrolled in this study. These patient were randomly divided into two groups. The observed group were treated by neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by radical hyterectomy and lymphonectomy. The other 50 cases were treated by operation as control group. The expression of CyclinD1 and nm23H1 were examined by immunohistochemistry using post-operation specimens. Results The total response rate of neoadjuvant chemotherapy was 75 %( CR+PR). The expression rate of CyclinD1 was 76 % in experimental group, and 54 % in control group(P 0.05). Conclusion The neoadjuvant chemotherapy was helpful for the patients with local advanced stage of cervical carcinoma. CyclinD1 may be one of the path of NACT, but nm23H1 may not related to NACT.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the distribution of clinical commonly encountered pathogens and their drug resistance in our hospital, and provide reference for reasonable choices of the clinical antibiotics.METHODS The K-B method was used to test the sensitivity to antibiotics of 859 strains pathogens isolated from all kinds of infected samples during from Jan to Dec 2006 in our hospital,at the same time the ESBLs of Escherichia coli and Klebsiella and the MRS were detected.RESULTS The more pathogens isolated from our hospital were E.coli,Staphylococcus,Pseudomonas aeruginosa,Klebsiella,Acinetobacter and Enterococcus. The ESBLs isolating rate was 32.8% in E.coli and 29.4% in Klebsiella, and the sensitivity to antibiotics was degraded obviously in those ESBLs producing strains.Imipenem was the most effective antibiotic to Gram-negative bacilli,cefoperazone/sulbactam and piperacillin/tazobactam also had better antibacterial activity. The isolating rate of MRSA and MRCNS was 32.6% and 40.7% in S.aureus and MRCNS.Gram-positive cocci had the best sensitivity to vancomycin. There was no drug-resistant Enterococcus strain to vancomycin being found.CONCLUSIONS We should think highly of the bacterial drug resistance and use antibiotics reasonably.

Objective To investigate the relationship between urine neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (uNGAL) level and activity and pathological types of lupus nephritis (LN).Methods Thirty cases of biopsy proven LN patients as the initial onset were enrolled into the study.Ten healthy persons were selected as controls. The clinical and pathological data and blood, urine specimen were collected. The uNGAL was measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. The relationship between uNGAL and clinical and pathological features of LN was analyzed.One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Pearson's correlation analysis were used for statistical analysis. Results Nineteen cases were in the LN active group and 11 cases were in the inactive group. The level of plasma NGAL had no significant difference between the active LN group [(64±6) ng/ml] and the inactive LN group [(58±20) ng/ml] and the healthy control group [(57±20) ng/ml] (P>0.05).The level of urine NGAL in the active LN group [(69±3) ng/ml] and inactive LN group [(66±5) ng/ml] was higher than that in the healthy control group [(64±5) ng/ml, P=0.009, 0.016, respectively].Urine NGAL level in active LN group was higher than that in the inactive group (P=0.012).Urine NGAL level was positively correlated with SLEDAI, R-SLEDAI, GAI, TLAI, AI (r=0.472, 0.521, 0.502, 0.516, 0.597, respectively, P=0.042, 0.036,0.042, 0.021, 0.007, respectively). The urine NGAL concentration after comparing to different pathological conditions were: urine NGAL's level [(69.7±2.4) ng/ml] of type Ⅳ LN was higher than type ⅢN [(65.3±3.2)ng/ml] and type Ⅴ [(64.6±5.0) ng/ml] (P=0.031, 0.028, respectively).Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) indicated that uNGAL was more sensitive(86.7%) and specific (73.3%) for the diagnose of type Ⅳ LN than type Ⅲ or type Ⅴ LN.Conclusion uNGAL is closely related with disease activity and pathological activity in LN.uNGAL enables clinician to assess the activity of LN and could be a sensitive marker for the diagnosis of type Ⅳ adult LN.
