Objective: To provide data for exploring the material basis of Acupoints and the relation of accumulation of calcium and vessels at Acupoints .Methods: (1) The distribution characteristics of vessels on tibial side of the interosseous membrane (ST channel 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th cun ) were observed on Chinese ink vascular perfusion adults legs. (2) The content of calcium on ST channel were determined by proton induced X ray emission analysis. Results: (1) The average density (Aa%) of vessels at the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th cun areas of ST channel was significantly higher than that between them ( P

Objective To evaluated the risk factors of urethral recurrence ( UR) following radical cystectomy ( RC) in patients with bladder urothelial carcinoma. Methods The clinical data of 350 male patients who underwent RC between January 2005 and January 2013 were retrospectively analyzed. The mean age was 63 years (rang 46-76) years.176 cases had the history of non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer.15 cases were were found the tumor invasion into the prostatic urethral. The way of urinary diversion after RC included 172 cases were orthotopic neobladder, 90 cases were cutaneous diversion and 88 cases were ileal couduitin.331 cases underwent preoperation intravesical instillation.36 cases underwent systemic chemotherapy after operation.148 cases were found the multiple tumor lesions, which was more than 2 sites. The pathological stage was more than T2 satge in 189 cases. And 177 cases were diagnosed as high-grade urothelial carcinoma.Multivariate Cox regression analyses were used to evaluate the risk factors associated with the UR.Results There were 350 cases in this study, UR was observed in 28 cases ( 8%).On multivariate Cox regression analyses, previous history of NMIBC (HR=15.205,95%CI 3.718-62.180,P<0.001), prostate urethral involvement(HR=5.233,95%CI 1.106-24.754,P=0.037) and Non-orthotopic neobladder(HR=6.656,95%CI 1.840-24.077,P=0.004)which the operation of cutaneous diversion and ileal couduit , were independent risk factors of UR following RC.Intravesical instillation before operation ( HR =0.470, 95%CI 0.010-0.217, P <0.001 ) was the protective factor of the UR.Conclusions Previous history of NMIBC, prostatic urethral involvement and Non-orthotopic neobladder were independent risk factors of UR.Intravesical instillation before operation was protective factor of UR.Urethrectomy for patients with high risk factors and intravesical instillation before operation were important.

The prenylation of aromatic compounds plays an important role in the natural product research because it not only gives rise to an astounding diversity of primary and secondary metabolites in plants, fungi and bacteria but also enhances the bioactivities and bioavailabilities of these compounds. However, further investigation of prenylated aromatic compounds is frequently hindered due to their low content in nature and difficulties in chemical synthesis. Cloning aromatic prenyltransferase genes followed by heterologous expression would be attractive tools for the chemoenzymatic synthesis of bioactive molecules. This review summarizes the classifications, structural investigations, enzymatic catalysis and other progress in aromatic prenyltransferases originated from microorganisms.

AIM:To investigate the effect of resveratrol on the lipids ( CHOL, TG, LDL-C and HDL-C) , ni-tric oxide ( NO) , peroxynitrite anion ( ONOO-) and the expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase ( iNOS) in the artery of the mice with ovariotomy ( OVX) .METHODS:The lipid levels and NO level in the serum were measured .The chan-ges of atherosclerosis were evaluated with Oil Red O staining .The expression of iNOS was measured by DAB staining and Western blot .The ONOO-production was measured by DAB staining .RESULTS:Compared with sham group , the levels of the lipids and NO production in OVX +high fat (HF) group were increased (P<0.05).Compared with OVX+HF group, the levels of the lipids and NO production in resveratrol group were decreased (P<0.05).Fourteen weeks later, the atherosclerosis model was successfully established .Compared with OVX +HF group, the iNOS expression and the ONOO-production in resveratrol group were decreased ( P<0.05 ) , while those in sham group were increased ( P <0.05).CONCLUSION:Resveratrol prevents and treats atherosclerosis by inhibiting the iNOS expression in C 57BL/6J mice.

Von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) syndrome, also known as cerebral retinal angiomatosis, is a kind of neuroendocrine tumor. The incidence rate is high, and the heredity is very high, which can involve the retina, central nervous system, various organs and various tissue parts. This paper reports a case of VHL syndrome with hypertension and diabetes as the main manifestations, in order to improve the understanding of the disease and reduce misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis.

BackgroundCompared with adult-onset schizophrenia, patients with adolescent-onset schizophrenia experience a high genetic susceptibility, severe negative symptoms, high recurrence rate, poor prognosis and social function recovery. And clarifying the brain functional alterations in adolescent-onset schizophrenia is of great significance for further elucidating the pathogenesis of the disease and exploring personalized and precise treatment. ObjectiveTo investigate the altered functional and effective connectivity of bilateral precuneus in first-episode patients with adolescent-onset schizophrenia based on resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI), thus providing reliable imaging evidence in guiding the study on mechanism involved in adolescent-onset schizophrenia. MethodsTwenty-one drugnaïve first-episode patients with adolescent-onset schizophrenia who met the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, fifth edition (DSM-5) criteria for schizophrenia were enrolled, and another 21 psychiatrially healthy controls matched on age, educational background and gender were concurrently selected. The schizophrenic subjects were evaluated using the Psychotic Symptom Rating Scales (PSYRATS) and Positive and Negative Symptom Scale (PANSS). All participants underwent rs-fMRI scans, and the whole-brain seed-based functional and effective connectivity analyses were conducted in bilateral cuneus region. Then the correlation between functional connectivity strength and clinical symptoms of patients was discussed. ResultsIn terms of functional connectivity, the functional connectivity of bilateral precuneus and left middle temporal gyrus was increased in patient group compared with healthy control group [P<0.01, family-wise error (FWE) correction at cluster level, P<0.05]. In terms of effective connectivity, patient group responded to negative feedback with greater activation of seed region and left middle frontal gyrus than healthy control group. Correlation analysis within patient group denoted that the decreased effective connectivity of bilateral precuneus and left middle frontal gyrus was positively correlated with the total PANSS score (r=0.450, P<0.05). ConclusionThe resting-state functional and effective connectivity of bilateral precuneus is abnormally alerted in drugnaïve first-episode patients with adolescent-onset schizophrenia, and the decreased effective connectivity of bilateral precuneus and left middle frontal gyrus may be related to the development of clinical symptoms. Prenylflavonoids are valuable natural products that have diverse biological properties, and are usually generated biologically by multiple metabolic enzymes in nature. In this study, structurally diverse prenylflavonoids were conveniently synthesized by enzymatic catalysis by combining GuILDT, a regiospecific chalcone prenyltransferase, and GuCHI, a stereospecific chalcone isomerase that has promiscuous activity for both chalcones and prenylchalcones as substrates. Our findings provided a new approach for the synthesis of natural/unnatural bioactive prenylflavonoids, including prenylchalcones and optical prenylflavanones with chalcone origins.
