The inhibitory ratio (1%) of artificial musk on cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) was determined by enzyme immunoassay (EIA). The dose-effect relationship between concentrations of artificial musk and 1% was established. It was found that artificial musk had obvious inhibitory action on COX-2. The concentration for 50% of maximum inhibitory effect (IC50) was about 2.26 mg x mL(-1). There was a good relationship between the logarithm concentrations of artificial musk and 1% when the concentrations of artificial musk ranged from 0.31-20.0 mg x mL(-1). The results indicated that this EIA method could be applied to evaluate the anti-inflammatory activity of artificial musk quickly, conveniently, sensitively and exactly. This paper provided a novel method and foundational research for the bioassay of artificial musk.

ObjectiveTo observe the dynamics of antibodies and protection against Schistosoma japonicum infections in buffaloes after immunized with recombinant 26 kDa glutathione S transferase (reSjc26GST). Methods Buffaloes in 2 villages endemic for schistosomiasis japonica were selected as test and control groups, respectively. In test group initially 96 buffaloes were vaccinated with reSjc26GST, and 90 buffaloes in the control group did not experience vaccination. The indicators included levels of antibodies to reSjc26GST in buffaloes before and after infection with S japonicum and changes in infection rate. Results Specific antibodies, which showed a trend of trapezoid increase, were induced in buffaloes after immunized with reSjc26GST. Twenty months after immunization, the infection rate of the test group was decreased by 62 2% when compared with that before vaccination, and by 67 7% when compared with that of the control in the corresponding period. Conclusion Specific antibodies and a certain extent of protection were induced in buffaloes after immunized with reSjc26GST, which played an significant role in ameliorating morbidity.

Objective To probe into the psychological resilience and its influencing factor among parents of children with cancer. Methods A total of 125 parents were investigated by self-designed general information questionnaire,Connor-Davidson psychological resilience scale (CD-RISC),Chinese version of Parents' Perception Uncertainty in Illness Scale (PPUS),Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS),self-rating depression scale (SDS) and self-rating anxiety scale (SAS).Results The total score of psychological resilience was (54.86±12.88) and the illness uncertainty score was (91.52±14.66).The social support score was moderate with a total score of (39.86±7.99).The anxiety and depression among parents got a total score of (40.08±7.19) and (44.61±7.38) respectively.Psychological resilience was negatively correlated with illness uncertainty and depression, and was positively correlated with the social support. The depression, illness uncertainty, residence, children's age, clinical diagnosis entered into the multiple linear regression equation of psychological resilience, predicting 30.1% of total variation in psychological resilience. Conclusions Social support, illness uncertainty and depression are the important factors which affect psychological resilience among parents of children with cancer.Nurses should assess the social support that parents receive, the level of depression and the disease feeling of the parents, and provide targeted interventions to relieve it,help to establish effective coping style and improve their psychological state.

The occurrence of eosinophilic leukemia complicated with cardiogenic embolism and L?ffler endocarditis are relatively rare.Early accurate diagnosis and prompt treatment can improve the its prognosis. When patients have symptoms of neurological impairment accompanied by increased eosinophils, the rare etiological type of cerebral infarction should be actively screened.Further improvements are needed in the examination of bone marrow smears, detection of fusion genes associated with leukemia, screening for L?ffler endocarditis, and identification of intraventricular thrombi. In this case, the main manifestations of eosinophilic leukemia were cardiogenic embolism and L?ffler endocarditis. After active treatment, the symptoms improved, and the eosinophil count returned to normal. This study summarizes the case data of this patient and combines it with a literature review, with the hope of raising clinicians'understanding of this rare disease.

Objective To investigate the expression of pepsin in vocal cord polyps and vocal cord cancer, and to compare the difference of pepsin expression. Methods From May 2020 to December 2021,27 patients with vocal cord polyp,27 patients with vocal cord cancer and 23 healthy volunteers were selected.RSI and RFS scoring scales were used for scoring, pepsin detection kit was used for saliva pepsin detection, and immunohistochemical methods were used to detect the expression of pepsin in vocal cord tissues of patients with vocal cord polyps and vocal cord cancer. Results The RSI score,RFS score and pepsin test kit results of vocal cord polyp group and vocal cord canc-er group were higher than those of non-vocal cord disease group, and the differences of the three indexes were statis-tically significant(P<0.05).RSI score, pepsin detection kit results and pepsin immunohistochemistry results of vocal cord polyp group showed no significant difference compared with vocal cord cancer group(P>0.05).The RFS score of vocal cord polyp group was significantly different from that of vocal cord cancer group(P<0.05).Conclusion Pepsin may be an important pathogenic factor of vocal cord polyp and vocal cord cancer, and play an im-portant role in the occurrence of these two diseases. The difference of pepsin expression in vocal cord polyp and vo-cal cord cancer suggests that pepsin may have different pathogenesis.
