PurposeTo analyze fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) PET/CT images in patients with probable sporadic Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (sCJD) and the affected encephalic regions by statistical parameter mapping (SPM) so that image information can be provided for early clinical diagnosis.Materials and MethodsSeven patients with probable sCJD diagnosed according to the WHO criteria and 2009 clinical diagnosis criteria and 7 controls at the matched age were enrolled in the study. Both groups underwent FDG PET/CT scan and the images were analyzed visually and by SPM.ResultsThe visual analysis showed that the patients with probable sCJD had a hypometabolism in the wide pallium and basal ganglia region and that a portion of patients mainly had a lateral decrease. The SPM analysis exhibited that patients in sCJD group had a pattern of hypometabolism that affected bilateral parietal, frontal, occipital cortices and head of caudate (P<0.05) and indicated that the patients with lateral hypometabolism existed crossed cerebella diaschisis (P<0.05).ConclusionFDG PET/CT image features of sCJD patients present a hypometabolism in the wide pallium and basal ganglia region, which may be helpful in the diagnosis of sCJD in certain clinical situations.

Objective To Evaluate the cognitive function in essential hypertensive patients complicated with metabolism diseases. Methods Eighty five essential hypertensive patients(EH)and other seventy four essential hypertensive patients complicated with metabolic disorder (EH+MD) were enrolled. Patients of EH+MD were categorized into glucose metabolism disorder (n=27), hyperlipidemia (n=15) and gluco-lipid metabolism disorder (n=22). Accurate knowledge,diagnosis and treatment of breast ductal carcinoma in situ(DCIS),are crucial in controlling the development of breast cancer.In the diagnosis phase,breast ultrasound is commonly used as a screening tool,and a clear diagnosis can be made by mammography.Meanwhile,serological tests contribute to the detection of DCIS in early stages.In the treatment,the optimal surgical operation method remains debatable.It is widely acknowledged that the radiotherapy of postoperative patients should become more individualized.In addition,corresponding endocrine therapy helps those ER positive patients to reduce the recurrence.In the development of DCIS to invasive cancer,there are changes in gene and protein expressions,which may be a potential direction for further research.

Objective To investigate the treatment of elderly dialysis patients with refractory hypertension.Methods Sixty-six patients were randomly divided into two groups of A group and B group,with 33 cases in each group.Patients in A group were treated by routine hemodialysis 3 times per week and hemoperfusion 1 time every 2 weeks.Patients in B group were treated by routine hemodialysis 2 times per week and hemodiafiltration 1 time per week plus hemoperfusion 1 time every 2 weeks.The levels of blood pressure,plasma endothelin (ET),angiotensin-Ⅱ (AT Ⅱ),renin (RA),parathyroid hormone (PTH) in two groups before and after treatment were compared.Results Before and after treatment,the levels of blood pressure,ET,AT Ⅱ,RA and PTH in A group were (183.42 ± 16.20)/(109.15 ± 7.69) and (151.45 ± 3.31)/(88.71 ±4.95) mmHg(1 mmHg =0.133 kPa),(173.45 ±41.25) and (160.38 ±25.31) ng/L,(69.21 ± 18.47)and(57.25 ± 23.34) ng/L,(1.21 ± 0.15) and (0.87 ± 0.14) μ g/L,(530.27 ± 43.28) and (272.43 ± 34.19) ng/Lrespectively.Before and after treatment,the levels of blood pressure,ET,AT Ⅱ,RA and PTH in B group were (185.34 ± 12.26)/ (112.38 ± 6.24) and (141.59 ± 4.15)/ (80.39 ± 2.73) mmHg,(178.21 ± 34.35) and (149.12 ±21.34) ng/L,(68.38 ±23.57) and (47.17 ± 15.61) ng/L,(1.19 ±0.29) and (0.69 ±0.41) μg/L,(528.62 ± 42.53) and (253.15 ± 31.62) ng/L respectively.The levels of blood pressure,ET,AT Ⅱ,RA and PTH in two groups after treatment were significantly decreased compared with those before treatment (P ＜0.05),and there were significant differences between two groups (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Combined with hemoperfusion in the treatment of elderly hemodialysis patients with refractory hypertension,the effect of combined hemodiafiltration is significant,and it is worthy of promotion.

AIM: To develop and perfect the similarity algorithm on chromatographic fingerprints of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM). METHODS: The experimental and simulated data were used to investigate and verify the characteristics on the new and former methods on similarity evaluation for chromatographic fingerprints method. RESULTS: There are many strong points for new similarity algorithm in practice. CONCLUSION: The new method provides more rationality and practicability in TCM quality control and analysis compare to existing methods.

Objective To establish lentiviral expression vectors for Smurf1 silencing and assess the effects of Smurf1 silencing on cell migration.Methods HeLa and A549 cells were infected with lentiviral expression vectors for Smurf1 silencing respectively.After 7 days,the stable cell lines with Smurf1 silencing were obtained after puromycin-resistance screening,enrichment and expansion.The intracellular gene and protein levels of Smurf1 were detected by qPCR and western blot.Transwell assay was used to assess the effect of Smurf1 silencing on cell migration.Results The stable cell lines with Smurf1 silencing are constructed successfully.Silencing of Smurf1 down-regulated cell migration rate detected by Transwell assay.Conclusion Smurf1 promotes cell migration.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy and safety of tirofiban in treatment of ST segment elevation acute myocardial infarction(STEAMI) no-reflow and acute thrombosis after emergency percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI). MethodsForty patients which were made definite diagnosis of STEAMI were intra-coronary artary injection fortirofiban after emergency PCI stenting occured no-reflow and acute thrombosis. First,the dose of 0.4μg·kg-1·min-1 was given from intra--coronary artary injection of tirofiban within three minutes, after 30min the dose were given 0.1μg·kg-1·min-1 for 48 hours. ResultsThe no re-flow and acute thrombosis was completely disappeared within five minutes,at the time,side effect with in one week was not observed. ConclusionsTirofiban treatment by direct injection in coronary arteries combined with emergency PCI, can increase the repeffusion rate of infarction related vessel in AMI patients,and improve TIMI reflow. This reperfusion method was effective and safe.

Objective To evaluate dopamine D2/D3 receptors status in striatal and extra?striatal re?gions with 18 F?Fallypride PET/CT. Methods A total of 11 healthy volunteers ( 4 males, 7 females, age (43.5±13.7) years) underwent PET/CT at 1 h after 18F?Fallypride injection. Imaging data was analyzed u?sing visual and ROI methods. The SUV ratios of different brain regions to cerebellar lobe were calculated. In?formed consent was obtained from all volunteers. The study was approved by the Ethics Committee of the PLA General Hospital. Results 18 F?Fallypride was widely distributed in striatal and extra?striatal brain re?gions. Distribution of 18 F?Fallypride was consistent in all healthy subjects and the rank order of receptor con?centration(brain region SUV/cerebellum SUV) was putamen(15.72±3.69)>pituitary(10.24±6.55)>cau?date(8.38±1.26)>amygdala(6.92±1.32)>thalamus(4.87±1.50)>colliculi(3.91±1.08)>substantia nigra (3.20±0.95)>cortex(temporal cortex: 2.11±1.34, parietal cortex: 1.51±0.57, occipital cortex: 1.31± 0?11, frontal cortex:1?30±0.25). Conclusion 18F?Fallypride PET/CT is suitable to study D2/D3 recep?tors status in striatal and extra?striatal brain regions.

Objective To investigate the topographic distributions of dopamine transporter (DAT),dopamine D2 receptor and glucose in Parkinson's disease (PD) and multiple system atrophy (MSA) using positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) scanning and statistical parametric mapping (SPM) analysis.Methods Seventy subjects (39 PD patients,15 MSA patients and 16 normal controls) who came from People's Liberation Army General Hospital from September 2013 to November 2015 underwent DAT,D2 receptor and glucose brain PET/CT scans using 11 C-methyl-N-2-β-carbomethoxy-3-β-(4-fluorophenyl) tropane (11C-β-CFT),11C-raclopride and 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (18 F-FDG) as radiotracers,respectively.The uptake patterns were analyzed using SPM software.Results Striatal DAT binding decreased in the putamen in PD patients compared with controls (Z =5.21-5.77,P =0.002-0.016).D2 receptor showed no significant differences.However,glucose uptake decreased in cingulate gyrus(Z =4.51-4.67,P =0.010-0.017).For MSA patients,both DAT and D2 receptor binding decreased in the putamen(Z =2.13-3.42,P =0.000-0.016).Glucose uptake decreased in the bilateral putamen,cerebellum and part of frontal temporal lobes (Z =1.86-3.75,P =0.000-0.032).Conclusion Multiple modalities PET/CT scans using the ligands 11 C-β-CFT,11C-raclopride,and 18F-FDG are valuable in diagnosis of MSA and differential diagnosis of MSA from PD.

Objective To evaluate the safety and efifcacy of Laparoscopic partial nephrectomy (LPN) versus 1aparoscopic cryoablation (LCA) for the small renal tumors (SRMs).Methods The databases of PubMed, SCI, Ovid, the Cochrane Library, CNKI, CBM, VIP and Wangfang Data were searched to controlled clinical trial about LPN versus LCA for the treatment of small renal tumor. The retrieval time span was from inception to Apr 2016. The studies were screened according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the date were extracted and the quality was evaluated by 2 reviewers independently. And then the Meta-analysis was conducted using RevMan 5.3 software.Results 9 studies were included, and 748 cases were involved. The meta-analysis showed that comparing with LPN, the operation time of LCA was shorter [MD = 42.75, 95 % CI (12.19~73.31),P = 0.006], less intraoperative blood loss [MD = 190.73, 95 % CI (126.67~254.78),P = 0.000], shortening hospital stay [MD = 2.23, 95 % CI (0.17~4.28),P = 0.030], lower transfusion rate [OR^ = 3.54, 95 % CI (1.18~10.59),P = 0.020], lower rate of postoperative glomerular ifltration levels [MD = 10.30, 95 % CI (5.38~15.24),P = 0.000], less complications [OR^= 3.90, 95 % CI (1.84 ~ 8.24),P = 0.000], higher risk of local recurrence [OR^ = 0.13, 95 % CI (0.04 ~ 0.44),P =0.000], higher risk of distant metastases [OR^ = 0.16, 95 % CI (0.03 ~ 0.78),P = 0.020], but there were no signiifcant differences in postoperative creatinine rise and transfusion rate (P > 0.05).Conclusions LCA has advantage in perioperative period results and protect renal function. But LCA has a higher local recurrence and distant metastasis risk, short-term and medium-term efficacy considerably, long-term effect is not clear, therefore, in the choice of surgical cases still need to be careful.
