Objective To study the clinical and pathological features of a case of retroperitoneal desmoplastic small round cell tumor. Methods One case of desmoplastic small round cell tumor was presented with review of the literature. Results A 11 years old child complained of abdominal pain and a 9.0 cm?6.0 cm?3.0 cm cystic tumor located in the left retroperitoneal space near the left kindey was resected. The connective tissue was significantly proliferated around the tumor cell nests. Immunohistochemical staining revealed CD 99 (+) and EWS/WT1 (+). After resection of the tumor, chemotherapy was performed with DDP?ifosfamide and VP16. No tumor recorrence has been noted 16 months after operation. Conclusions Desmoplastic small round cell tumor has specific clinicopathologic stigmata occuring usually in young males and the tumor was characterized by expression of MIC2 gene product CD 99 and the EWS/WT1 protein. Surgical resection with cheomotherapy is the treatment of choice.

Objective To discuss the indication and efficacy for treating hypospadias with ure-throplasty of Pedicled preputial double-faced island flap(PPDIF). Methods Records of 99 children (mean age, 5.1 years; age range, 4 months-12 years)with hypospadias who underwent PPDIF oper-ation were reviewed. Of them, 56 cases were penile type of hypospadias, 24 cases of penile root type, 13 cases of scrotal type and 6 cases of perineal type according to Barcat classification. Based on Duck-ett technique, the partial preputial cortical plate remained and was displaced to gastr-penis with ure-thra. , and finally the new urethra would be covered by the cortical plate. Results During follow-up of average 2 years, 8 patients(8. 1%) developed urethral fistula, 1 (1.0 %) developed mild meatal ste-nosis, and 1(1.0 %) developed flap necrosis. The success rate for total PPDIF procedure was 89.90 % (89/99). And the success rate of simple PPDIF for cases with penile and penile root hypospadias, and PPDIF+Duplay for cases with serotal and perineal hypospadias were respectively 91.25 % (73/80) and 84.21%(16/19). respectively. Conclusions PPDIF is good for treating most hypospadias. Furth-more it make penis better shape. In the severe cases, PPDIF+Duplay prededure is recommended and the effect was affirmative.

Objective:To study the preventive and therapeutic effects of silk fibroin peptides (SFP) on acute alcoholism in mice. Methods:In first experiment, the mice were randomly divided into four groups, and every group was treated by 56o alcohol (ethanol dosage 7.56 ml/kg bw) via i.g. Eighty mice were fed normal saline (NS) and different dosages of SFP (0.1, 0.5, 2.5 g/kg bw) 30 min later respectively, then the rate of ebriety and time of sobriety were determined. Another 72 mice were also divided into four groups and given NS and SFP similarly. The concentration of ethanol in serum was measured 1 h, 2 h and 4 h later respectively. In second experiment, the mice were also divided into four similar groups, but 56o alcohol was given at 6.16 ml/kg?bw via i.g. NS and SFP were given similarly, 0.5 h before alcohol. Two experiments were performed to observe the effect of SFP on prevention of temulence. Results:The time of sobriety and concentration of ethanol of SFP groups fed 0.5 and 2.5g/kg bw were lower significantly than those of NS group (P

Objective:The effect of the linseeds,VE and ethoxyquinoline in feed on the productive performance of the Hailanhong layers and ?-3 PUFA deposition in the yolk of laying eggs was studied. Method:Four hundred and eighty healthy layers of 48 weeks of age were randomly selected. The linseeds,VE and ethoxyquinoline of different levels in diet were fed on these layers. The indices of the productive performance and the fatty acids content of yolk were determined. The regression model of the fatty acids deposition was established. Results:The effect of the linseeds,VE and ethoxyquinoline in feed on the productive performance was slight. The most deposition of ?-3 PUFA was found by adding linseeds 15%,VE 0.17g/kg feed without ethoxyquinoline. Conclusion:The deposition of ?-3 PUFA in eggs could be regulated by controlling the proportion of linseeds and VE in feed with no effect on productive performance of layers.

Journal of Experimental Hematology 2013;21(5):1361-1364
Central nervous system (CNS) is one of places in which direct infiltration and involvement or relapse occur in adult lymphocytic leukemia. The main mechanism of CNS infiltration in leukemia is associated with blood brain barrier (BBB), however the ALL CNS infiltration is difficulty early predicted and evaluated. For this reason, the studies on accurately evaluating the ALL CNS infiltration have important significance for early diagnosis and adjustment of therapeutic regimen, performance of individualised treatment and improvement of ALL patient's prognosis. In this article, the pathway of ALL CNS infiltration and its molecular mechanism, the evaluation methods for BBB function are reviewed.

10. Gonadotropin-releasing hormone-antagonist up-regulate the proportion of uterine natural killer cells and enhance their toxicity during the implantation window period of mice
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2020;40(9):1168-1173
Objective: To investigate the effects of gonadotropin-releasing hor-mone-antagonist (GnRH-ant) on the proportion and toxicity of mice uterine nature killer (uNK) cells during implantation window. Methods: Sixteen C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into GnRH-ant group and control group, with 8 mice in each group. From the 3rd day of the estrous cycle, GnRH-ant (1.5 μg/100 g) was injected intraperitoneally into the mice of the GnRH-ant group for 7 days continuously, and the control group was injected with the same volume of normal saline at the same time point. On the 7th day, the mice of the two groups were injected with human menopausal gonadotropin (40 U/100 g). The next day, they were injected with human chorionic gonadotropin (100 U/100 g) and sacrificed after 48 h. The uterus tissues were taken out for primary digestion to obtain single-cell suspension. Flow cytometry was used to analyze the proportion of uNK cells and the expression levels of toxicity molecules perforin (Pf) and granzyme B (Gz-B). Results: Compared with the control group, the proportion of uNK cells in GnRH-ant group increased (P=0.000), the proliferation level increased (P=0.000), the apoptosis level decreased (P=0.004), and the expression of toxicity molecules Pf (P=0.000) and Gz-B (P=0.034) were up-regulated. Conclusion: GnRH-ant may up-regulate the proportion of uNK cells and enhance their toxicity in the implantation window period of mice.
